After working on Marvel and other games and traveling the world, Jamie Hawke decided to settle down and write fun, quirky, and sexy pulp science fiction and superhero books.
You'll find his harem gamelit books in Kindle Unlimited and Audio, and might want to start with Supers: Ex Heroes 1. The book reached #47 in the Amazon store, including #1 Bestseller in multiple categories (to include Superhero, Cyberpunk, and Colonization).
It all started when Jamie was eleven, creating nude superhero comics with his best friend. What perverts! But hey, they were fun and provided good fodder for jokes up into their adult years. Now the stories have evolved, but they capture that same level of fun. Hopefully you will enjoy them as much as the author loved writing them!
Jamie also spent five years in Marine Corps intelligence, studied Muay Thai in Thailand, and lived in Japan for over three years. A lot of this plays into Jamie's books.

SHADOW CORPS (Space Fantasy with Leveling and Skill Trees, Books 1-3, also in Audio)
The description sounds fun and exciting and sexy, but the delivery falls short in every aspect. The writing is basically a stream-of-conscious story; it's as if someone were telling you this at a bar when you asked what they've been up to and they're like "You won't believe this!" I had a really hard time following a lot of the action scenes (though they did get better and clearer as the story went on). The best parts were the weirdness/kinkiness of some of the sex scenes, but they were so poorly described, they'd be over just when I started to get a little hot. Some of the descriptions were good, but a lot were just like "We did this position. Then we did this position." I can get into a sex scene if it's well written even if I don't care about the characters, but these were not great and I was forcing myself to care about the characters. With so many other sci-fi erotica books that actually do what they're intended to, I won't be continuing with this series or author.
disjointed narrative, confusing descriptions, stilted dialog Did Not Finish / might try again
What the hell is going on in this book? after quitting I've found out it might be a sequel. God I hope so. that would explain a lot.
Biggest gripe so far. I'm not sure the Author knows what's going on either, and not just placing the reader in the same boat as the protagonist. My Main grip is The "Hero" meets a girl who is hot for him, then hates him, then is indifferent to him, then coy to him, then storms off again. The "Hero's" reaction to all this? "Nice tits". This is all at the very start of the book. I think I have whiplash, and I just don't care how it turns out.
In the icy realms of HowlStrom, where the eternal winter reigns supreme, I, Kiba Snowpaw, the alpha lone Ice Wolf with the power of ice magic, find solace and escape in the mesmerizing world of books. Amidst the frosty solitude, a new tale has found its way into my icy paws, “Supers - Ex Gods #1” by Jamie Hawke. With the cold winds howling outside my icy abode, I delve into the pages, ready to embark on a journey through space, superpowers, and unforeseen adventures.
Basic Plot Summary
The tale unfolds with a Marine, freshly retired and seeking the warm embrace of rest and relaxation. Yet, fate, as unpredictable as the blizzards of HowlStrom, pulls him through a portal into a universe teeming with superheroes and villains. A gorgeous superhero informs him of his impending powers and the looming battle against evil forces. A narrative as wild as the icy storms of my homeland.
Analysis/Evaluation
The narrative, akin to the unpredictable and tumultuous snowstorms, is a chaotic dance of action, superpowers, and adult content. It’s a tale that attempts to blend the thrill of sci-fi with the allure of erotica, yet, like a young cub learning to harness the icy winds, it stumbles.
Characters
The Marine, a warrior, is as raw and untamed as the icy wilderness of HowlStrom. His journey, though marred by inconsistencies, is a dance of discovery, power, and lust. The super ladies, like the auroras that grace my icy skies, are enigmatic yet fleeting, their depths as elusive as the midnight sun.
Structure
The structure of the tale is as chaotic as a blizzard, with scenes of action and intimacy intertwined in a dance as wild and unpredictable as the icy winds that grace my world. It’s a narrative that, like the eternal winter, is both mesmerizing and confounding.
Impact
In the icy solitude of HowlStrom, where tales are as cherished as the warmth of the sun, “Supers - Ex Gods #1” emerges as a narrative of untapped potential. It’s a story that, like the first thaw of spring, promises warmth yet often retreats into the icy embrace of chaos and confusion.
Hook and Thesis
The allure of a Marine thrust into a world of superpowers and epic battles is as enticing as the first snowfall. Yet, the narrative, like the elusive warmth of summer, often slips through the reader’s grasp, leaving a chill of unfulfilled promises and untapped potential.
Praise and Critique
In the icy silence of my world, the tale’s audacity to blend genres is as commendable as the first bloom of flowers amidst the snow. Yet, the execution, akin to an untamed blizzard, is wild, chaotic, and often leaves the landscape of narrative beauty buried and unseen.
Evaluation
As an Ice Wolf, with the solitude of the icy realms as my companion, the tale offers an escape, a journey into a world as chaotic and unpredictable as the storms of HowlStrom. Yet, like the elusive warmth, the narrative’s potential is often lost amidst the tumultuous dance of genres and themes.
Comparison
In the icy silence, where tales of warriors and magic are as cherished as the moon’s soft glow against the snowy landscape, “Supers - Ex Gods #1” is a storm of untapped potential. It’s a narrative that, like the icy winds, is both mesmerizing and confounding, a dance of warmth and chill.
Conclusion
As I, Kiba Snowpaw, close the pages, the icy winds of HowlStrom howling in the eternal dance of solitude and strength, “Supers - Ex Gods #1” lingers like the first rays of the sun piercing the icy night. It’s a tale of untapped potential, a narrative as wild and unpredictable as the world from which I hail. In the icy silence, amidst the eternal dance of frost and warmth, the tale is a storm, wild, untamed, and forever echoing in the icy expanse of solitude and power.
Let's give it 2.5 stars. While the idea of superheroes in space sounded really cool, the author's mediocre WRITING ruins it. Oh, the writing XD It's painful and laughable.
Our main man is called Drew. He's a default preset, bland, bald Caucasian man character that everyone can transpose themselves into. I can't tell if the MC is trying to be tough or meek. It's jarring to me because this potato of a man is supposed to be a tough-as-nail American Marine. Not Army, but Marine. He is the typical prophesied 'chosen one' that was...well, chosen to save the universe and became the baby daddy for the female super-hoes although it doesn't seem like he's the one wearing the pants in this crew.
And the girls...oh lord, they are annoying. The way they talk is annoying. Even the character who is 'friendly' sounds annoying. These girls are toxic to a level that 'dude, why are you still here?' Maybe they were supposed to be edgy, but the author didn't know how to flesh out edgy characters? There's this one female character that keeps mocking him for being jealous and how everybody loves her but she's stuck with him and how there's no way that they gonna have sex. The correct response is "fine, I don't want to be with you anyway." You wish. Not in this book.
Now, in real life, a man would walk away from that ish, but not our Marine friend, because he's a bitch. He's gonna choose the power of friendship to tolerate these horrid people which is sickening. Man, grew some balls and tell that woman to f*ck off XD So essentially these alien girls are telling the dude to man up (screw your feelings and JUST DO IT) and make babies with them, that sex is just sex in their culture and he has to tolerate it. Huh? Let's reverse it. Imagine telling a woman to 'woman up' and just be ready to be bred. That doesn't feel good.
I love harem lit well enough but can we please read something about badass space superheroing and not baby making? What is this.
And the things they talked about is cringe. You know how harem lit books mostly leaning to the ultimate badass male fantasy, right? It's cathartic. Well. Not this book! The girls will explicitly say that the MC's peen is not big but just the right size for them. Yep. There's an actual dialogue about that. Was the author trying to patronize the readers with average sized penis to boost their confidence? What's going on? Dude WE DON'T CARE. What kind of conversation is this??? We're in space! Let's do space things!
And back to our beta male character. How is he a Marine? I'm a nerd and I got bigger balls than his. And while the girls' dialogue are terrible, his was worse. He's the kind of character that says "daaaaayum" when you're telling a story (he's white, btw). And he said exactly that when one of the girls was telling him her backstory or whatever. Retarded writing. I dropped it 2/3 through the book. Don't tell me that I'm missing out or it gets better towards the end because NO, I'm not missing out on this, believe me. Rant over.
My rating range of this story... 3.25 - 3.75 If significant, why?
Main Character Ratings... H = 7/10 h = 7/10 x 4/10 x 7/10
Was cheating involved? No Any major triggers to be aware of?
Scenes with heat... Tons What point does it start? How much of the story? Anything beyond M/F? If yes, explained
Heat Rating... 8/10 Clean or Fade to Black - 1 or 2 Normal to Descriptive 3-5 Detailed Descriptive Sex - 6-7 Um, Wow, Beyond Descriptive Sex - 8 or above
Was there so much sex or unrealistic sex that you rolled your eyes and/or skipped forward? Um, Yes!
The back story... The H faces off against an alien while on Earth and is pulled out and into space by a beautiful alien woman. He finds out that he is to father a king of Superheroes but he needs to help find the rest of his harem.
The Romance... All lust!
The drama explosion... None Did it feel real or contrived? Was it OTT? Separation involved? Was it resolved properly or rushed?
Final Notes... Typical erotica space romance written by a male author. I have heard and read reviews by female readers that think these types of authors are sexists but then give rave reviews to female authors that write menage romances with two or more males. It is all about perspective!
After Drew is attacked by a fire-producing super, then defended by his suddenly 'super' brother, Noah, he's dragged to safety by Navani, one of a family of formerly god-like super women. She tells him why she rescued him and the family mission she and others like her have chosen him for. Although it helps Drew to have a universal role, it also suits him fine that he'll be like a sultan in a 'super' harem before that!
Can Drew keep up his end of the bargain or will he find he may have bitten off more than he can chew, in a manner of speaking. If you like the premise of the plot, you'll certainly enjoy the action in Jamie Hawke's saucy romp, where it's action of one sort or another every step of the way. Grab your copy now and don't stop til you get enough - even if it keeps you up all night!!
It felt like this book was trying to be a lot of different things all at the same time. It was trying to be awesome superhero action, cool sci-fi, sexy erotica, and clever alternate history/mythology. Ultimately, because it was trying to be all those things, it felt like none of those things was done particularly well. The erotic elements were okay but not really standouts, the backstory was interesting but not particularly original, the superhero action was fun but just okay, etc. I also struggled to figure out the gamelit aspect of this "Gamelit Harem Space Fantasy" book. Overall, it was a fun, entertaining, quick read to be sure... but I'm not particularly inspired to continue in the series.
Too silly, too juvenile. Maybe I'm just getting old but this 'fun and badass' cliche of 'epic battles, lore and TITS!' is just grating on me. The MC is incredibly thin on substance, the dialogue isn't great and the sex scenes are poorly written. Unlike most of the bad harems I read, this isn't even bad in an interesting way, it is just tedious.
You may enjoy it if you crave the staples of this genre, but otherwise you'll probably be put off.
After the grim dark slog with an infuriating ending that was my last read, I decided to go for something frivolous. This was certainly that. It isn't great literature, but would you expect that from a book about a former marine who is conscripted into being a breeding stud for a bunch of superhuman women? It's all a bunch of delightfully silly superheroic sex and violence and for what it is it's done well.
This wasn’t a bad book! I liked the action and the different characters. I wasn’t thrilled about two things: the plot and the first person play-by-play. I kind of wanted the story to be told to me or acted out (live action since I listened to this on audible) but was forced to listen to a guy give details about how hard his cock was and detail his inner monologue about women’s breasts.
This was free on audible and I got it because I like the author, but I probably wouldn’t listen again. 3.5/5
Nonstop LitRPG action/adventure - read the blurb Pulled through a portal by Super Navani into a different galaxy, it’s fight or die as ex-Marine Andrew “Drew” needs to level up to fight evil powers intent on destroying the Gods and the Citadel. Thus begins the exciting series of outrageous adventures that follow Drew as he meets AI Lamb and his Super teammates: wild Sakurai, angelic Sacrada and crazy Threed. They discover the secret of what fuels his powers, much to their enjoyment.
Initially I did think this was part two of a series, I am glad I a was wrong. I was laughing out loud as I was reading causing a mild disturbance. I could not stop reading, the situations were something any young person would love to be involved in. I can't wait for the for the next in the series.
It not bad of course if this kind of book is not for you I can see how it might not be good. These books including the other two books in series have been very different then what I am use to but that's not a bad thing. The premise behind this book was straight forward. You knew what you where going to get before reading.
Surprisingly fun read. Having seeing the cover, its stars and only glanced at its description I honestly didn't know what to anticipate aside from being a superhero/villain novel. Imagine my surprise int he first couple of pages LOL. Enjoyable, engaging and likeable characters who are looking to save the universe by combining DNA to create the next "god" super being to thwart evil.
Felt like it was written by someone in puberty. I got 44% in when I finally couldn't continue. He's supposed to have been in the army, but I could only see the MC as a horndog brat. The difference in how he was supposed to be as opposed to how he thought and acted only made an unbearable situation worse.
Fast-paced and fun. Didn't particularly like the protagonist or the way he kept trying to justify his every action (unsuccessfully, in my opinion), but I'm always down for a cast of strong superwomen kicking ass. I appreciated the author's openness to poking fun at his own plot and presenting diverging opinions and beliefs within the main cast.
This book was another interesting story and fun read, of course if one is not into characters having fun with their clothes off then they should probably avoid this book. I really enjoyed the characters in this one and am looking forward to reading the next book.
With this series and the heroes one it looks like thing's are going to be happening very quickly. If you have not read hero's the two stories add so much depth to the world. Both stories are similar but different overlooks just like brothers.
I know even though there is some childish scenes and so much sex, the universe in these books is too good. The concept of supers & God's(who are tier one sups) is too cool. So I will invest my time in this universe for sure.
Excellent book. Not what I would normally read but it came up free to try on KU, and I said what the hell. I am very glad I did. I wasn’t that huge a fan of GameLit before but you better believe I am now!!
Love the Super Ex-Heroes books and was curious to see what the Brother was up to, so started this... Loved every second and couldn't put it down. Craziness level was off the charts, making it a fun and exciting read!
Good read Likable characters. Interesting story I enjoy this authors stuff. Looking forward to the next one Hopefully he keeps Turing stuff out at a good pace
Really fun book. Would definitely enjoy it more if the story, characters, and relationships were built up more. Hoping the next books in the series have a bit more substance.
