Join the survivors as relationships deepen and bonds are tested in the fourth installment of this award-winning series!

The Wolf Pack has finally made progress in their trek North as they reunite with the rest of their group at the Canadian border. The small town of Coutts is fortified by the US Military with a seemingly impenetrable wall surrounding it. It's truly secure and they can have some semblance of a life again. A week of staying there begs the question, do they even need to continue on their journey?

As they unwind after a hellish week on the road, what they've had to do to survive comes back to haunt them--all their failures, all the lives they've taken, all the people they couldn't save.

Things begin to change when they realize there's a secret buried in Coutts, something they may not be prepared to face. Not only do things begin to destabilize within, but the Reclaimers return, bringing with them a vengeance and a plan to bring the group to their knees. Their refuge starts becoming less safe by the day.

A much needed break for characters and reader alike! While there’s still action, danger, and crazy Reclaimers out for blood throughout, this is much slower then the previous books as the characters recover and reflect on all that’s happened in such a short amount of time and the changes they’ve all gone through, both good and bad.

James and Alexis are the sweetest, strongest couple ever and I love them so much, together and apart! Definitely my two favorite characters in the whole series! Emmett frustrated me a lot, as it seemed like he was being too reliant on the “safety” of this place and therefore was being almost intentionally blind to what was going on most of the time which made me want to shake him. Everyone else was thinking much more rationally than him on this matter, haha.

I also wanted to mention from a writer’s perspective, I really like studying the different guy characters and their reactions to things—whether they’re more stoic or feeling or just in between—as written from a man’s perspective and it’s REALLY helping me take note on how to (hopefully!) write more realistic men in my own stories now and in the future. I really appreciate how this series has opened my eyes to this and am learning a lot!

While I took my time through the majority of it, I speed read through the last few chapters and am both nervous and excited to see what happens next and how this is all going to be wrapped up—fingers crossed for a happy ending with all my favorites staying alive and well!

STORY

Couldn't put it down, absolutely breath-taking in the sense of just enough "ah, this is nice" and "THIS IS ALSO TOO NICE, SOMEONE MUST DIE". A real thriller! The pacing was fabulous with a lot of great character growth in a short time, as well. A lot of plot twists from previous books are slowly being unraveled as we find answers... soo fun.

THEMES

Wow. The emotional journey of the Wolf Pack and the gals, etc, has been nothing short of raw and realistic. I love how they grow but the struggles remain, they just learn to lean on Jesus a bit more...

Themes of brotherhood, courage, faith, and love... they hit pretty deep. Especially the theme of loving even when it scares you, or when you're accustomed to defending yourself by not trusting anyone. Ouch. But watching everyone choose to LIVE vs. survive... really inspiring.

And the terrifying theme of who would you kill for, die for, what would you do in the worst case scenario--absolutely my favorite part about novels like this. Terrifying theme that I like to see.

CHARACTERS

I really relate to Connor. Like, a lot. A lot a lot. I relate to James, as well, but Connor, at this rate, is really the only loner that the Pack has left. Huge mood. I really enjoy him and cannot wait to see what the last book holds for him.

James and Alexis are ADORABLE. OTP. SO CUTE. Their growth is super great.

Tank and Chloe. Ah. The fools. Their journey together is really great!

EMMETT IS AMAZING AND NOTHING BAD IS ALLOWED TO HAPPEN TO HIM AGAIN.

Olive and Felix are my adopted children. Thanks and goodbye.

Overall, cannot wait to see what else the antagonists have in store!

CONTENT

PG-13. Descriptions of gore, violence, blood, etc. Mentions of sex, nudity. Descriptions of drinking/being drunk. Mild swearing. Again, really clean books for a zombie series!

OVERALL

THE LAST BOOK HAS ME VERY FREAKED OUT IT NEEDS TO GET HERE SOON HELP ME.

After Ana struck off on her own, the rest of the crew reunites and finds a level of safety in the fortified town of Coutts. But questions arise; is Coutts a true haven? Or something more sinister? And Jezz and the Reclaimers are right on their heels and bent on revenge.

Once again, the action keeps the story moving along at a swift pace. Though more of the main characters’ backgrounds are explored and internal issues are dealt with, the action is not relegated to a back seat; a lot happens here. The pacing is excellent.

I have grown attached to these characters and feel as if I know them personally. I highly recommend this series. Even if zombie apocalypse isn’t your chosen genre, check out The Brother’s Creed series, the characters and plot will take you on quite a journey and will not disappoint.

Bad Company Rocks

The group got a bit of a break in this book as they rested in camp, healed mental wounds, formed new relationships, and helped the community. All was not what it seemed, dark hidden plans in the camp as well as the Reclaimers trying to kill the Wolf Pack. This book allowed the author to go in depth with each James and see how he was battling his mental demons. Relationships formed and it has made the group even stronger. I look forward to the next book and wonder where Ana's demons will take her! Great series! One of the best of the last year! Do not miss it!

I loved this book and did not want it to end where it did.

I have a feeling I know what is going to happen to Ana in the next book.

I love the situations that the Wolf Pack get into---or should I say that I love the way the Wolf Pack get out of the situations that they get into.

There are great twists and turns in the book and it was well worth the L O N G wait to read the book.

When I first heard about authors writing books about zombies I could not figure out how they would hold my attention----I am here to say that I was WRONG---I have loved every book in this series and am not to patiently waiting for the next book.

Thank you for the education lesson regarding zombies and keeping my attention.

I jumped at the chance to get Bad Company ahead of the sales date, for a review of the book. Truthfully I was waiting to buy it. The Brothers Creed is a series I like, and enjoy. This part is in a military protected, and black ops ran enclosed town. The group is taken in and for the most, everyone is happy. James isn't going to put down his guard. He knows that Jezz is likely going to find them. They find proof that she has found the group. The military aren't alarmed, they believe only a crazy person would attack the heavily fortified town. James needs to convince his close friends to leave before Jezz comes to town.
The last page will rattle your cage!!

Bad Company is #4 in Joshua C Chadd’s Brother’s Creed Series. For me it is the most interesting so far. Joshua shows us more depth in his charecters as they survive the stressors of the first week of the Zombie Apocalypse. Book # 3 ends with the group reaching shelter and safety. But from there the plot twists and diverts in several directions. All the survivors have a different outlook of their future.
We also learn more about the Origins of this Plague.
Once again we have an excellent tale of what could be. Where Joshua plans to takes us, I have no clue. But I can’t wait to find out.

Great read! Follow James and his friends as they try to fit into their new home. Is it safe? Should they stay? Is it really all that it appears? Is something sinister going on that they just don’t see? What about the Reclaimers? Gone for good or waiting to rear their ugly heads? This book will keep you up late because you won’t want to put it down. I can’t wait for the next book in the series! Highly recommend!

I am so glad I ran across Joshua and his books. I joined his guild and received a free advance copy for giving an honest review.

I am late to the game and started with this Book 4, now I need to go back and read the first three. But I did not need the first three in order to get pulled into the action, and see the hearts of the main characters. I am more in the Emmett age range than that of the Wolf Pack, and have two daughters about the age of Alexis. However, I could identify with every character; each became real in his or her own way. I always wondered how it would work to mix faith in the real Jesus Christ into a post-apocalyptic zombie world. Joshua shows it can not only be done, but done well. Add this series to your must-read list

***********Spoiler alert*******************
The story picks up directly after the last book ended, with our battle weary group being taken in by the Military. Everyone is trying to settle into a routine of normalcy. Soon the group finds that the Military has little to do with the actual town, and guards are being posted that seem innocent. They soon realize Vindox and the Military seem to be hiding something and the Reclaimers are still hot on the Wolfpacks tails. I always enjoy Joshua's books, each one better than the last. Bad Company is no different, you will not be disappointed, as it is action packed, full of suspence, and next chapters of the Wolf Packs Story!Grab your copy today!!

Finding sanctuary in a military-run town on the Canadian border, the Andderson brothers and their friends have time to reflect on the past two weeks of chaos. They question some of their choices and actions. James experiences flashbacks, and Connor drinks heavily. The town is not as secure as it seems. Who are the men dressed in black? What is in the infirmary basement? Will Jezz reclaim the Wolf Pack?

The Brother’s Creed has been my introduction to the zombie apocalypse genre. I enjoyed the first three books, but in Book 4 the characters develop, which adds to the story. It also draws together threads from the previous books and explores the spiritual viewpoints of different characters. I look forward to Book 5.

Pure Fun Reading

This is one of those series which captivates the reader so intensely, that you actually become part of the story. You begin to attach and identify yourself with the characters as though you actually know them. Pure fun reading! I can hardly wait for the next one.

A big change in the pacing of the series

This book was much more introspective and slower paced than the others. Some of the groups in the book made choices that I wouldn't have, but it will be interesting to see how they pan out.

Book four slows down a lot and some character development happens. But it’s really a slow burn with little payoff. The constant he said, he said drives me crazy as an author. We learn the origin of the zombie virus and not much else.

Joshua Chadd is the MAN. Great writer and story teller.

Continues excellent story line. Believability galore. Truly a book that you will have trouble putting down. If you have not read books, one, two and three, recommend doing so.

Great Series that only gets better with each book. Who would have thought to put the end of the world and all the violence that go with it add a few Zombies and Christian Brothers together to make some darn good story! It Works. Oh and don't forget to though in some tender love scenes and you have a Winner!

This series just keeps getting better! I have loved the Creed brothers since the first book and continue to be amazed and entertained by their story.

Joshua Chadd writes a great story and the action just doesn't stop. His characters are well developed and likeable, which always helps the story move along quickly.

I especially like that the author isn't afraid to let his characters show their love of Jesus, even in the face of the difficulties of the Zompoc. It is a very refreshing take on this genre.

I can't wait to see what our heroes encounter in the next book! Keep the adventures coming, please! Your loyal fans need more!

Book Four. So here's my preview of what I said in Book 1. What do you do when you are hunkering down to avoid COVID-19 that, who knows, may have the potential at some future time turn those that die into Zombies? Well, you read a series about a Pandemic and Zombies or in this case listen to it. The first of five books we learn about two brothers, a father and daughter and other hanger-on's who may or may not live to the end of Book 5. It has kept we walking real fast because who know who or what is out there lurking behind a bush as I get some exercise. So far I have learned that I need plenty of ammo and guns plus a hide-away all the way in Alaska.

I have also learned that you need a few friends and tunes to help with the trip.

I have also learned that there can be bad people out there besides the Zombies so watch out.

I have also learned that there is a great conspiracy and that these Zombies were created by a really bad corporation that just happens to be owned by the grandfather of one of the main characters.

I received an ARC copy of Joshua Chadd’s Bad Company to review. This fourth installment of the Brother's Creed Saga finds our group reunited, except for Ana, in Coutts where they recuperate and integrate into town life. James and Alexis start dating, Tank and Chloe make their relationship official, and Alexis and Emmett have quality father daughter bonding opportunities. However, just as things start to look positive new dangers arrive. The reclaimers followed them and plan revenge, the town itself has a dark and dangerous secret, and James’ personal demons have returned. After some devastating reclaimer attacks and Alexis stumbling on some dark secrets, the Wolf Pack loses the illusion of a safe incorporation into Coutts society. Thrilling, well paced, and action packed with plenty of intrigue Bad Company is a great addition to this series. Zombie fans need to read these books. I am anxiously awaiting its conclusion.

Even though this is more of a character-development based installment, I felt it still read fairly quick and had enough action to keep the pace flowing nicely. The majority of the group is now at Coutts, which is a stronghold backed by the government and the anonymous (are they good or bad) men in black. The kids find teachers; the group safe behind walls, and a chance at a break. If only things worked out that well!

Jezz is on a mission and the Reclaimers have Coutts in their cross-hairs. Within the camp, things still feel off and questions beg answers. And answers are dangerous.

In this run, readers learn a bit more about the key players and some relationships blossom. I skim the Jesus bits.

There are touching moments as well as spilled blood – so entertaining, for sure.

Book four in the Brothers' Creed series and one is finally able to catch their breath after all the harrowing escapes and adventures in books 1-3. But that doesn't mean the story slows down! Bad Company takes places in the border town of Coutts, where the Wolf Pack finds refuge for a time. The story delves more into the relationships between the characters, not only between (SPOILERS!!) couples like Tank and Chloe and James and Alexis, but also between Alexis and her father Emmet, and the three "Wolf Pack" brothers. But, Jezz and the Reclaimers are never far away, and their rest is short lived. Should the brothers stay in Coutts and pursue a "normal" life, or continue on in the journey to Alaska, to build a new community there? Check out Bad Company and find out!

Best one yet!

Chadd takes a step back from the constant mayhem and delves into the characters and their relationships a lot more. It's a nice change of pace and adds much depth to the characters and their story. Don't get me wrong, there's still plenty of mayhem, bloodshed, and destruction happening, but you get a good breather now and again. Bad Company sets up what I'm sure will be an epic finish to a series I've grown to love!

A very exciting read

Reading this forth book has been a lot of fun, the story line took a nice turn and is very entertaining. Our group after escaping from the reclaimers found refuge in a military protected town at the border, but things are not always what they seem and it’s not long before our group has to move on to their final destination.

This installment has drama, romance, faith, action, tragedy, and even a little comedy. Creed brothers and Tank as well as their little group find out if something seems to good it generally is. More answers but even more questions come up. I enjoyed this book and am anxious to read the next one.
