Rose Chance is a dedicated Portland physician who loves shoes, clothes and the finer things in life. Her colleagues call her Dr Vogue, and she won’t even look at a man unless he’s rich. And preferably titled.
Her colleague Matt Vasilopolous is a Greek immigrant made good. He dresses like a schlep, always needs a shave and doesn't seem to own a comb.
Rose can’t stand a man who looks like a tramp. Matt loathes a woman who looks down at him. But when they’re thrown together to save a life one day, and find themselves in the same wedding party the next, Rose and Matt can no longer deny the attraction between them.
With an English baronet and his stately home in the offing, though, will Rose choose the man she's dreamed of her whole life or the one her heart craves?
This is the fourth novel in the Take a Chance series of romantic comedies. All the books can be read independently, but are also connected.
Nancy Warren is the USA Today bestselling author of more than 100 novels.

Favorite moments in her career include being featured on the front page of the New York Times, being the answer to a crossword puzzle clue in Canada’s National Post newspaper and being a finalist three times in the Rita awards. She has won the Reviewer’s Choice Award from Romantic Times magazine.
I thoroughly enjoyed everything about Every Rose Book 4 in Nancy Warren’s Take A Chance Series. As with the other books in this series, there were cameo’s from the other wonderful members of the Chance family.
Jack pays Rose a visit and is taken ill. Rose’s colleague Matt Vasilopolous has always seemed scruffy and unkempt to perfectionist Rose, but when Jack needs surgery Rose knows that Matt is the best doctor to perform the procedure. From this moment friendship blossoms and Rose sees more to Matt.
Coincidentally they are organising the Hen and Stag do’s for their friends, who happen to be a couple. After spending more time together they start to view each other in a different light. You will have to take a chance on this book to see whether this is enough once Rose encounters the man of her dreams. Will dream or heart win out?
This is my final stop on this tour and I have fallen more in love with the Chance Family with every book. Teri Schnaubelt is an outstanding voice actor who maintains a pleasing flow throughout. Her transitions into the different voices of the various characters are seamless. I have found her voice acting to be extremely strong and a pleasure to listen to.
I received this audiobook as part of my participation in a blog tour with Audiobookworm Promotions. The tour is being sponsored by Nancy Warren. The gifting of this audiobook did not affect my opinion of it.
Every Rose was kind of enjoyable. In the audio, you will meet Rose and Matt. They had such a cute little romance that grew throughout this book. They work together, which could be forbidden but oh well, and they sort of start to develop feelings for one another. It doesn't hurt that their friends are getting married as well and they spend time in and out of work together.
Of course, with a sort of romance - there's drama. Lots and lots of it. Whether it's family drama or something else - these two dealt with it. At first, Rose was kind of annoying. It took a while for me to warm up to her - it helped a lot when Matt was around because those two clicked. Which is why I liked them as a couple. When they weren't together, Matt was definitely likable - more than Rose was.
Overall, it was a cute book. Will definitely look into more of the chance family.
She likes order and tidiness, he's chaos in motion most of the time yet they can't seem to stop being drawn to each other. An intriguing plot of a women who always thought she wanted more out of life, yet finds that all she really wants is to belong. A sweet romance to entertain and delight you. I am intrigued to see what happens with the rest of the Chance siblings in this series!
I am so enjoying each instalment of the Chance family. Rose chance is so different to the others we have met so far, she is such a focused professional. It was great to see how she changed as her and Matt evolved into more. This series is really great, as you get to know the family more the more you get drawn in.
A great addition to the Take a Chance series! Nancy Warren has a way of grabbing your attention from the very beginning and continues to hold it to the very end. A fast paced story that keeps you reading wondering what will happen next. I loved every minute of the book and Hated to see it end. Rose Chance always felt that she was adopted because she felt like she never fit in and she should have been a princess. She is a very good doctor who delivers babies and also takes care of them afterwards. She is very busy and has no time for romance especially with another doctor. Matt is also a very busy surgeon who practices at the same hospital that Rose does. In fact he is so busy he forgets he is supposed to plan a stag party for his good friend Harvey. Harvey happens to call Matt and asks how the plans are going while Rose is in the break room with him and just happens to overhear the conversation. But to Matt's surprise she offers to help him out and they find out that the bride is Rose's good friend. So they just happen to keep running into each other which makes for a very interesting story.
Reviewed on Behalf of http://bookaddict.live, Every Rose has its thorns…. This was about Rose the doctor, who has always convinced herself she adopted and belongs in a different family. This is mostly about Rose and her colleague Matt Vasilopolous who is the opposite of what she usually likes in a man. After working a case together, they go for a drink and click. I loved Matt, and it was nice to find out more about James the cop. I have enjoyed getting to know the Chance family who feel like old friends. It was down to Nancy's writing that she brought Rose to life so well, that I was invested enough to be so irritated The audiobook was narration was superb as the others, I wasn't jolted from the story once. but I couldn’t warm to Rose, I kept wanting shout at her. As this is mostly from Rose’s pov so I was irritated with her most of the time. There is always someone in a family who annoys you so it was true to life in that respect. I am going to miss the chance family, but luckily I think there are some more to listen to.
Every Rose by Nancy Warren Take a Chance Series Book Four Dr. Rose Chance may deliver babies and take care of them afterwards, but it's the last thing she wants for herself. After growing up with ten siblings and never having all the things a princess deserved...no thank you. The same for love and deep relationships. She was just fine without all those added to her life.
Dr. Matt Vasilopolous is an extremely busy man. So busy, in fact, that it slipped his mind that the best man has to throw together a stag party for the groom. Good thing he's fast on his feet when cornered. He just wished the best dressed doctor around wasn't there to hear his dilemma when Harvey called him. Surprisingly enough, that same beautiful doctor offers her help.
Another great story in the lives of the unusual Chance family. A mix of eleven children who may or may not be Chances by birth. Jack and Daphne Chance took in children and birthed their own, each child has the choice at sixteen to ask if the were adopted or not. The prologue, Chance Encounter is free and will introduce you to the unique world of Jack and Daphne Chance. **Sexual content http://justjudysjumbles.blogspot.com/...
3.5 stars - my reviewing slump continues, but...I've really liked the books in this series, and enjoyed seeing just a bit more of the amazing Chance family. I liked this one too as the Doctor sister finds love, but I do wish that this had been just a longer- at least an epilogue would have been nice. This sets up for brother Jack's story and possibly pulls a thread for Marguerite's
Teri Schnaubelt does her job well. The narration was good the audio itself was smooth and held up well under speed changes. Listening to Teri depict the characters from Every Rose gave me a sense of being home. We may have been away from the Chance stronghold but we were able to see Rose and her dilemma with whether or not she was in the right family. She struggle with her need for order/clean and fashion. She finds that sometimes a bit of disorganization can be the key to opening new doors. She also finds that family emergencies can bring you closer and change your world. Matt was sexy and gifted. He cared nothing for what he looked like but cared a great deal for his patients and their care. For as long as he could remember he held a light for one and she just looked right through him. That was until she needed him. I was not sure if I liked Rose for her supposed shallowness or respected her for make something more of herself. She had a good upbringing but she felt there was more. Then she finds that the more she wanted was always there. She was a woman that felt her life had more than she began with. She worked hard to get herself to where she was in life. She felt that her life had more to offer her than where it was. She did not do doctors. She did not so slob. She did not do disorganized. She did not . . . until she did. One emergency set a path for her to have the more that was missing from her life. She just did not see it until it was almost too late. She had the world in her hands and almost let it all go. Nancy Warren has delivered another of her Chance family members and unraveled another piece of the puzzle.
Teri Schnaubelt gave this one the extra little flavor. I felt the words more. I felt a deeper connection. I felt the fear, pain, sorrow, loss, determination.

Another Chase sibling is falling in love. If you didn't know there are 11 Chase siblings. Rose, a General Physician, works with Matt, another doctor. As they start spending more time together, outside of work, love begins to bloom. Listening about all the Chase kids falling in love is enjoyable. I really like all of Nancy Warren's books. I like these books cause there much to the sex scene and the romance is so sweet.
Rose has always known she was adopted. She was nothing like the rest. She is Physician in Portland now. Matt thought she was born into a rich family with roots his parents were Greek immigrants. He thought she was beautiful. It took 2 surgeries, a wedding, and the return of her titled ex boyfriend to finally get together. What a great story
I read all six books in the Take a Chance series in quick succession, so this is a blanket review for the series:
Firstly, Nancy Warren always manages to write characters who are relatable, quirky, individual and likeable. Secondly, she has an innate ability to develop those characters just enough and in just the right ways for us to become totally invested in the outcome of their stories.
This collection of books can be read as stand-alone but is so much more rewarding if read in order. They are sweet, romantic, a little bit steamy and every so difficult to put down. I enjoyed every last one and was so disappointed when I read the last sentence of the last book. Straight to the top of my favourite reads this year!
Title: Every Rose Author: Nancy Warren Series: (if any) Take a Chance book 4 Rating:3.5/5 stars Format: Ebook
Why'd you pick this book? Books 1-3 were quick fun reads, so I read the whole series
Summary: Rose Chance is a dedicated Portland physician who loves shoes, clothes and the finer things in life.
Favorite and Least Favorite part: Rose was pretty irritating but Matt more than made up for her. An all around good guy, he helps her when she needs it most. Rose is pretty conceited and almost thinks shes better than her family because they're all slobby, farmer types and she prefers the finer things.
If you like this book you might like: Since these books can be read as stand alones, I recommend the whole series
Every Rose is the fourth book in Nancy Warren’s wonderful Take A Chance series. Daphne and Jack Chance have built a family, and a life based on love. Each book deals with one of their multiple grown children, both adopted and natural. This book is the story of Rose Chance, a highly regarded Portland physician, clothes conscious connoisseur, and uptight-plan happy young woman. She has dreamed her entire life of being a true princess, not as her childhood had been… one of nearly a dozen siblings, all living in the old home-place. She just needs to set a plan, work hard and smart, and execute her plan.
But, the best laid plans of mice and men often go awry. Insert Dr. Matt Vasilopolous, extremely talented surgeon, but the man lives life day to day, does not dress to impress, and always appears to have just finished a pickup basketball game. He is also kind, compassionate, worked his way through college and medical school, plus he just saved Rose’s dad Jack, when Jack needed emergency pacemaker surgery!
Add in an unexpected mutual attraction between Rose and Matt! Will that attraction lead to more? Will Rose and Matt fall in love? Will Rose abandon her long-held life plan for a life of love with Matt? This is a wonderful, tender, funny story! It is a pleasure to read! I couldn’t put this book down!
Nancy Warren has got herself another winner with Every Rose. The 4th book in the Take a Chance Series features Dr Rose Chance, a GP who is a little bit of a snob. Although she comes from a loving family and she knows that her parents love her, she has always believed that she is adopted and has this dream that she could be a lost princess. On the other hand, the hero Dr. Matt Vasilopolous is a busy surgeon who has no time to even shave or groom himself. He is always disheveled and Rose just can't understand why he can't keep himself neat and tidy. Two very different people with explosive chemistry. Is that enough?
I totally enjoyed their story. Add in the matchmaking antics of Rose's mother, the fun stag party, the reappearance of Rose's ex-laughter, it is a really funny and enjoyable read. Can't wait for the next book in this series.
I especially loved this story. You've got two people who are complete opposites yet feel the same way about what type of person they date. Throughout the story you can feel there is an attraction between the two but they have rules, they don't date doctors. Throughout the story events occur that cause the two to work more closely together. Will they forget their rules and see where things go or will the continue to fight nature and their feelings for one another. I'm not good with these reviews but I do believe in sharing the fact that I thought it was a great story and worth the read. I enjoyed the entire story and definitely recommend.
This is the latest (so far) in the Take a Chance series, and it's just as good as all the rest, although not as long as the earlier books. In this one, Dr. Rose Chance is the one in the spotlight, learning that love can come in packages that she's not sure she really is looking for. Read it. It's good, and the sex scenes are fairly mild.
Solid read. I still had the issue with the way the book suddenly wrapped up. Seemed too easy. But I liked Rose, and I liked seeing a relationship with a very independent female lead.
These are about the members of the Chase family. I suggest reading them in order to get the best expirence.
Length: 4 hrs and 42 mins
Content Advisory: There is mild sexplay.
♥ Story ♥
This is about Rose who is referenced as being a General Practitioner Doctor but also as birthing hundreds of babies, so it is not quite clear as to what her specialty is. She works at a hospital in Portland, so its not as if she is a small town doc that ends up doing everything. And can I mention crazy for wearing Prada heels to work. Seriously! In reading the blurb, I was a bit disappointed in her attitude for being one of the Chase siblings. After listening to this book, however, it is not quite as it seems.
Rose ❤ Matt
Dr. Rose Chance is a very busy women, who doesn't have room for love and dating in her life. She also has some chips on her shoulder to overcome. I give her credit for being proactive and productive in her life despite her self-delusions. She is attracted to the hot Greek Surgeon at work, but can't seem to let go of her princess ideals. There are events that will force her to face things in a new light.
Dr. Mattius Vasilopolous also comes from a large close-knit family and is also too busy to even remember what day it is sometimes, or if he ate lunch. Matt and Rose have a lot in common and make for a great couple, and she makes him contemplate love at first site. I feel for the guy because it's going to be an uphill climb to get over her castle walls.
Every Rose turned out better than the blurb lets on, which was great. There is nothing wrong with wishing for a fairy-tale, but one needs to be open to reality. There is a famous quote about life and plans for a reason. Some of the secondary characters are going to show up again if you take the time to read the blurbs of future books. I'm looking forward to them all!
♥ Author ♥
Nancy Warren's creativity continues to amaze. Once again she brings a unique medical sitution. It is a bit cringe worthy, the way a man holds his crotch when he sees another get hit in his, but it is definately one I have never heard of before.
♥ Narrator(s) ♥
Teri Schnaubelt is still great. I can't help but get lost listening to her tell me this wonderful tale.
