My powers are growing. And my dreams are actually memories from lifetimes before. Which doesn’t make sense because witches aren’t immortal. I’m starting to wonder if I’m something else entirely. I remember more every day, but the answers I need are always just out of reach. While I’m trying to figure this all out, a community of witches has opened their arms to me. I’m dying for a family that accepts me, but how much can I trust them? And those three demons? They’re an infuriating (but sexy as hell) pain in my ass. They could also be the only ones with answers to my mother’s death. Side I think I’m falling for them. 18+ Reverse harem These books are not standalones and should be read in order.
Things are starting to get spicier. Deja learns more and more about her past selves, and there’s a revelation at the end which wasn’t that big of a revelation tbh, because we all saw it coming.😅 Things are moving a bit too fast, which I guess it makes sense because the books are short, but it feels like she accepts everything too easily. But because they are so short, I’ll continue reading them.
*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.
Wow just wow. So Dena is finally training with her magic while getting closer to the guys at the same time. This leads to a conundrum she must solve and I did not see any of that coming. This is a well built fantasy world with characters you can love. I'm hooked and cannot wait for book three. If you enjoy paranormal reverse harem novels then you have to try this series. I loved it so it gets 5/5 stars.
Deja is learning about her demons but they won't tell her about herself. They insist that she must remember on her own. Her grandmother insists that she stay away from them. And the coven that has extended an invitation to her hunts demons. So, you could say things are getting intense.
Spoilers ahead. Deja dreams. She has goals, ideas, and she actually dreams about her past. Believing in reincarnation is one thing, seeing it play out night after night in your dreams is something else. And while Sal and Raum are close by her side, she's feeling the distance Ash has placed between them. He almost slips up and tells her her first name. Which she took as him calling her another woman's name. Serious oopsie considering the activity they had been engaged in. I am curious about the coven being so quick to beg her to join. They usually ask a year to feel out candidates. In a matter of weeks they are holding her ceremony. And there's talk about her power being strong but we only see a couple practices with her grandmother. We don't actually see how she compares with the coven leaders or others. I mean, we know she's powerful because of who she is but as Deja with her memories blocked, it's still just talk without showing details.
Another super quick read. This book focuses more on Deja recovering memories of her past and creating new bonds with her men. They want her to slowly remember her past rather than just telling her and it’s a process, something mostly taking place in her dreams. By the end boy does she remember he honestly I kinda had a feeling about halfway through on who she was. Having made a coven friend and even joining a coven I imagine things are bout to get a little crazy considering her hidden darkside. Another non brutal end which I wholeheartedly appreciate 😎
I enjoyed this, and how Deja is getting conflicting information from the witches. Her faith in her demons is solid, but as she’s still trying to figure out who she was, it does put a little bit of doubt in Ash.
First, it's weird. I never expected Sal to be an attentive sensual lover or for Raum to be the possessive rough lover. I definitely expected it to be the other way around. Second, Deja is a reincarnation of Lilith . . . Totally makes sense.
I'm not sure this author knows what a Prequel is. It isn't when you reveal an important part of the upcoming story to the readers! That could be considered r red a preview, but really, what author is going to give so much away in a preview or prequel? Apparently this one. Despite that I am enjoying the story pretty much. It's more like 3.5 stars though. It appears that her and her demons are every famous person or God who existed throughout history, which is getting a little ridiculous. This is definitely written by a witch who was probably a Christian preachers kid who treated women like chattel. Christians will not like how their angry vengeful God is portrayed her ex, although it's actually spot on. It's just most Christians do not like to see it in such starkness before them. At least the women don't. They either embrace or try to ignore the fact that Christianity is a Patriarch religion. Just a warning that this series is not for those who get easily offended by these things. I am looking forward to where this is going. With her being human, the outcome just doesn't look good. Looks more like different time, same thing. I'm hoping the author can surprise me with better. We'll see. Again, I repeat, the author needs to put all these tiny parts of a book into a single book or box set. Because I have yet to actually read a single book and if I paid $3 for this, I would not be a happy camper. So if you are reading on KU, go for it, but if you're paying cash, run away. It's way overpriced.
I have loved reading this series from Crystal Ash. Each book seems to flow together well in the series though I disliked the fact this one had ended in a serious cliffhanger.
Deja is living now with her 3 demons. The book starts with a bit of the story from one of her previous lives, then moves on into the present. She is trying to unlock her final power, that of Air. However it seems that her nightmares are being linked with that and preventing her from accessing it. suddenly she gets a warning from Seth that the hunters will be on their location within 2 days, just as Sal discovers the scent of the hunters on their trail. So the group moves to their next safe house.
Behind all of this story, Raum and Deja have been having a fight at the end of the last book and he has left her alone for the last week and she misses him. She had asked him to give her some space during the fight, but it feels like he has left her alone for too long. They finally make up after Ash has to leave for the underworld to pose a question to Lucifer, and their make-up scene was still hot as any other scene has been in the series.
If you have been following the series this is not a book to miss. It contains some heartache, some new discoveries, and a group of new friends for the four of them. it is not one to miss, and I can't wait for the next book to be released.
I'M NOT EVIL, i'M NOT!!! What can I say that hasn't been said before me. Crystal is like a tornado that rips through and you can't move to save your life. She has a style all her own and she wields it better than the magic shes conjuring in her new magic techniques. She has this down to a science. I want her 3 demons to play with. The characters and scenes were intriguing, complex, realistic and a little on the odd side. Hey, I said a little. Its not like they can hear me. Geez. So we have the main major witch in town learning all about her gifts and how to bring 3 demons to the knees. Ok, back to the story. Its starting to get real and she is one bad ass to pull it off. The characters are all very interesting to say the least. And I'm not just talking about the demons. We do have other sups out there. I can't wait to see whats coming at us next. So if it comes to a show down between her and Lucifer who do you think will win? Oh, right mortal. Great job keeping me on my toes and up trying to figure things out. You're not letting me too close to try and find my answers. Thats ok. Incredible job Crystal, I love the way your bringing this show to a heated head and I know its going to blow soon. Remarkable job and thanks for sharing.

This is series is shaping up very nicely. Deja is beginning to remember more of her hidden past, helped by her growing closeness to Ash, Sal and Raum, the three sexy demons who have come into her life and completely captured her attention and are worming their way into her heart too. She also meets other witches and is welcomed by them. She suddenly has two different "families" and I know which one I prefer because who doesn't love a sexy bad boy and Deja's three demons definitely fit that bill. The first book, Witch's Dawn, introduced us to the main cast of characters and this book builds on our knowledge of each protagonist and their history. Deja spends time with each demon separately and it reveals different sides that are not shown to the world but only exist when they are with their one true love, Deja. This book is all about Deja discovering her magic and her history and sets up the next book very neatly, with no cliffhanger. I look forward to the next book and hope it won't be too long to wait.
From Book #1, the development of the story is done well. I like the way Crystal is playing with the actual plot and weaving the story. Our main character in the book came out more strongly and that is good, not good, I would say very good. I'm relieved that I never felt for a single time that I'm lost in this book.
When you are reading a series, this tends to happen a lot. But the way, the author wrote down the story, her grip over the characters and the story can be seen, she never let it go. There were few instances in the book that I was in wow situation. Now I'm waiting eagerly for the third one because this book has something that makes the wait even harder. There is not only the supernatural world but there is a mystery, flirting and some good moments that made the reading a fun and enjoyable.
Perhaps the series should have started with this book. Feels the first book was one ginormous epilogue for this book. Having said that we really don't get to much further into Deja's past/memories/relationship with 'the boys' until very close to the end of this book. There is magic practicing, new friends but maybe a weird coven with a demon hunter and steamy sex with Sal and Raum but.........yep that's about it. I'm almost tempted to read the last one just to see what the hell it was all about. I've read a lot of urban fantasy dealing with fallen angels, demons, vampires and just about all the species but this by far has the most 'anti-christian' undertones I've come across. Almost as if me thingst someone may have some issues to work through. Happy Reading!
Since I don't normally write reviews unless I have something specific to say, here's the break down of how I rate my books...
1 star... This book was bad, so bad I may have given up and skipped to the end. I will avoid this author like the plague in the future.
2 stars... This book was not very good, and I won't be reading any more from the author.
3 stars... This book was ok, but I won't go out of my way to read more, But if I find another book by the author for under a dollar I'd pick it up.
4 stars... I really enjoyed this book and will definitely be on the look out to pick up more from the series/author.
5 stars... I loved this book! It has earned a permanent home in my collection and I'll be picking up the rest of the series and other books from the author ASAP.
OMG, this book is just as good as the first, can't wait for the next one in the series. Deja is still finding herself. She is welding magic like she was born with the knowledge. She is finding out more about herself and her 3 demons. She has found a witch friend who belongs to a coven in the area. Can she hide the fact that she loves 3 demons? Can she find help to weld her magic better in this coven? Will they even except her seeing her dark aura? What is Diana going to do knowing that she hangs out with demons? Will she ever figure out who she was in past lives? I received an ARC copy for my honest review.
As Deja continues to open herself to her magic and her men, she delves deeper into the truth about herself and the many lives lost to the eons. As her power grows, she begins to draw to herself others with the power to wield the elements. A strange encounter in her tea shop leads to an introduction that could change her life. A coven means protection and a wealth of knowledge as well as teachers to help her with her fledgling powers. But mostly, a coven promises the acceptance of a family. Something she has yearned for since childhood. But how would a place amongst her own kind affect the dynamic within her unholy trinity?
Demons and the Witch . Deja is starting to member her past at different points .She meets someone with magic and wants to have a magical friend that she can talk to. Now it seams like she can join a witches group but she feels and wonder if they can see or read her aura. I like that she has different relationship needs from her three demon. Each one fulfills a role or need with her . I like that she is asking questions about her mother death . I look forward to the next book . I voluntarily read an arc of this book for an honest review.
Deja is remembering some of her past, but some things still don’t make sense. Maybe she is something more than a witch? She seems to have an opening in a local coven, yet she questions if they will react to her dark aura. She doesn’t know who to trust. And what about her 3 demons? Can they help her find an answer to her mother’s death?
This was an enjoyable book and integrated very seamlessly with Book 1. The characters were well developed and believable. I am eagerly looking forward to the next book already!
So this one is definitely more steamy than the first which is just fine with me but the reason it’s 3.5 instead of 4 is how frustratingly short it is. And yes I understand it’s reverse harem and sexy times are part of it but for ending at 80% again with previews for the next book, the only thing that happens in 150 pages besides sex was Deja finding a coven to belong in and remembering her first name. HOWEVER I’m still getting the 3rd book because it’s really entertaining with who they’ve all been through out history and those demons will make your toes curl in the best way ;)
Another great book by Crystal in this series. All the pieces are coming together and we now know who Deja really is. This book, like the first, was rather short but still held plenty of action and drama. Just because it was short, didn’t mean that things were rushed or poorly written and lacked detail, quite the opposite actually. I remember thinking in the first book that I would love to see Lucifer as s part of the harem but now I see that isn’t what the author plans for unfortunately... I always love a good steamy read with Lucifer 🤷🏻♀️
Good story, out on Audible too so able to listen as I work. Not completely unique story wise but enough novelness to keep me engaged. I like Deja, she is a relatable character, with a load of baggage from her childhood which is mentioned but not really expanded upon yet. Demons and demony ... again these are not new to this genre, but they are individual, and the narrator does a reasonably good job separating the voices. A lot to read for whole series, but I am going onto next book to see where the story evolves onto.
This is the second book in the series and centers around Deja and her three demons. She is learning about her powers and the witch community. She has more power and learning how to control them. This book answers questions from the first book but now you have new ones. The storyline is great and the characters are developed and pulls it all together. Can’t wait for the next one. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
An amazing addition to this series! A smooth, seamless flow from book one. Full of steamy scenes leaving you begging for more!
Deja has come to terms with learning she is a witch and in doing so has come closer to the mysterious demons she feels connected to. After meeting a local witch, she begins to question her future. Join the local coven or stick with her demons?
Deja's journey to discovering herself continues as she regains her memories and grows even closer to her three boys. I love the way their relationship grows and changes as she remembers more of their former shared lives and grows more sure of herself. I can't wait to see how she handles knowing who she used to be and balancing that with who she is now.

The second I finished Witch's Dawn, I picked up Witch's Rite. The story was so engrossing, and I was so enraptured by Deja's story. Yes, this was a quick read, but that does not detract at all from the overall story. Deja's journey is becoming more intriguing, and I cannot wait to find out what is next in store for her and her demons
This book was good, however I feel like this book should have been combined with the first one. I wasn't left with any overwhelming opinions or feelings on the book.
Side note, I finished the third book already and it was significantly better! Worth it to keep reading.
I just had a feeling that was who she was going to turn out to be. I'm and already in love with raum and sal, I just need a bit more of ash lol honestly I'm not entirely sure where this series is going but that is part of the fun! Can't wait to see what's going to happen next!
