Brayden has been a problem child since she was eighteen. Now that she’s thrown into a Mexican jail, her father could pretty much care less. When Logan’s sister asks him to help get her out he reluctantly agrees. What he finds there is the stuff of nightmares and the conditions Brayden experienced left her with a panic that she can’t shake. Add in the fact that the man who has controlled her life for the last five years is the reason she found herself arrested and is a threat to anyone in her life, she’s a bit gun shy about getting involved with another man. Even if she does find Logan deliciously attracted.
Logan was quite a bit different than most heroes I enjoy. He was a bit nerdy with his high grades in school and his complete absorption with his job. His general outlook was not what one would call alpha. But when Brayden’s situation is exposed, Logan goes all Hulk alpha hero and I loved that this gentle and kind man had such deep feelings for the young woman who in a few hours had turned his life upside down.
This is a fast paced read with a steam level and some dirty talk that absolutely singed my eyes. Hot doesn’t even begin to describe it. The plot is well developed and the characters equally so. Secondary characters are a bit few and far between as this story had no real need for them but we do get a quick glance at a few favorites from the series.
Overall, I loved this story and it was the perfect read for a lazy morning. I need more Logans!

His general outlook was not what one would call alpha. But when Brayden’s situation is exposed, Logan goes all Hulk alpha hero and I loved that this gentle and kind man had such deep feelings for the young woman who in a few hours had turned his life upside down.

This spin off takes us away from the cage fighters and more into the contemporary romance with Logan, who prefers to do his fighting in the courtroom - if he can ever climb the ladder far enough to get there. Turns out that all work and no play has made Logan a bit of a dull boy until he ends up in Cancun with Brayden. What's supposed to be a quick trip turns into so much more. While Logan hasn't moved into silver fox territory, he is a little older than Brayden, but doesn't seem nearly as experienced or jaded. He is a super sweet guy and Brayden certainly brings out his protective side. This couple has great chemistry and the tension between them as the attraction builds is through the roof. Even with Brayden's psycho ex, the angst level is relatively low, making this one a fun, easy read with a lovable hero and plenty of sexy to keep it spicy. There is a bit of a twist concerning Brayden's ex, and on that, I would've preferred a bit more. It just felt like it was resolved a little too easily, but the story really isn't about him or that resolution. It's about two people who find exactly what they need in the unlikeliest of situations. As I've come to expect from this author, the writing style pulls the reader in and the characters, love them or hate them, are interesting and well-developed. All in all, another entertaining read from Lane Hart.

We first met Logan in Jax, the first Cocky Cage Fighters series. He’s a perfectionist with only one goal at the time, make partner in a respected law firm. The least thing in his mind was fall for the rebellious, problematic young woman that was about to change his world.
This story was emotional, funny, and super sexy. The relationship between Logan and Brayden had the perfect amount of anguish, sweetness, and passion, and it’s that perfect balance that makes the story feel real. Brayden’s backstory had me hating everyone that ever mistreated her and rooting for her to find real love with Logan.
With a well-written plot and complex characters, this is the book to read if you’ve ever wanted to try an older man/younger woman story but didn’t know where to start.

What he doesn’t expect on his impromptu vacation is to fall head first for his bosses daughter.
I loved this couple and their instant connection.
Lane Hart delivers a quick, easy read that’s steamy and full of passion.

Despite the ton of books that I've ready this year, there is always that author that always miss and always want more. I know that I might sound crazy but honestly I really don't care. I love this author and that is enough for me to read every single book in a flash... It doesn't matter if it arrives at 1am because I always start it because sleep is overrated... Lol.
Lane Hart has been a constant in my reading life and her books shows why. Her writing is hot and wild, sweet and heartfelt, dark or light you name it, but the most important thing for me is that she puts her heart into each book.
Logan is her latest release and it's a spin-off from the Cocky Cage Fighter series and you must read this series first. Trust me.... You'll not regret it.

Brayden went away to Cancun to celebrate summer break and she got caught up in. She was put in a cell a left there with no food or water...

I'm speechless, I'm overwhelmed, I'm happy, I'm sad...you name it. This book is freaking awesome.
The plot is superb, very well written, super engaging and intense. Each chapter was getting better and better and I couldn't read it fast enough. The interation between the characters is beautiful and sweet with a touch of stubbornness and hotness into the mix.
Jesus the hot scenes were brutal and I'm never going to look at an ice cube the same, while you're reading you are guessing dome stuff and then bamm, you're right... So good.
It was great to have news from other characters from this series but it was sad as well since I wanted more. I still want more...
Lane Hart you rock woman. This book... Heck, this series is amazing and each book complement each other. Can I ask more please? Please?

Lane Hart is a great writer and she definitely proves it with this book. It's a spin off from the Cocky Cage fighter series but it stands on it's on. Fast paced and full of action, this book will capture your attention right at the beginning and keep you page turning. Couples, likeable characters and an entertaining read. Chemistry that's off the charts and secrets galore will keep you guessing. A great book.

Suspense mixed with EXPLOSIVE chemistry = PERFECT GIFT for Mother’s Day or “beach/pool book” staycation!
Wow, this novel is unexpectedly deep. It deals with some important and deeply disturbing issues and is the sweetest Lust-to-Love story I have read this spring. Author Hart’s eloquence makes “LOGAN” an easy read, so those who have chosen “LOGAN” can focus on the rich characters and untenable situations in which those characters become embroiled. I fell in love with Logan, the character for whom the work is titled, because he displayed a caring disposition even though he is unaware it even exists. I also like strong leading ladies, and Brayden has ‘strong woman’ tattooed across her shoulders. Although their relationship begins as a forbidden tryst in Cancun, the strength they give each other to make the hard choices in life is awe-inspiring to read about. “LOGAN” is by far my favorite of the ‘Cocky Cage Fighters’ series, so it gets a HIGHLY RECOMMENDED five-star rating because that is the best I can give. However, I need to add a STRONG suggestion that readers who have enjoyed any of the wonderful titles in the series to pick up your copy of “LOGAN”, today. Lane Hart saved the best for last! Happy pages. 😉

Logan was first introduced to readers in the first book of the Cocky Cage Fighters series, ‘Jax’. When I first started this book, I remembered why I enjoyed his character in the other book. He’s sweet, caring, and protective but not to the point of obsession. Brayden already has that in her life. They meet when he goes down to Cancun to save her from jail, as her father who is also a lawyer doesn’t seem concerned for her. He’s instantly attracted to her but has a no dating rule while he focuses on his career and the road towards partner at the law firm. She has secretly had a crush on him since she first saw him at her fathers company holiday party.
So for me, this started out good but very slow and progressed slowly until the end. Once I got closer to the end of the book, I felt like the story was rushed. This is the reason for the 4 stars. I really enjoyed the characters and the storyline, I just didn’t care for the pace throughout the book.
As I’m a big fan of this author, I’d still say that this a book that is a must read, especially if you’ve read her Cocky Cage Fighter series.

Im so happy that Logan gets his own HEA. We first met Logan in Jax a Cocky Cage Fighter Novel.
Logan is a workaholic with no time for fun, socializing and relationships especially since leaving his father's firm and starting his new job at the bottom of the "totem pole"
Logan is asked to help get his bosses daughter out of a Mexican jail by his sister Page. He's not to thrilled but that all changes once he sees Brayden. The attraction between the two is instantaneous.
Logan has fallen for the beautiful woman but Brayden tells him that things cant go on and cant risk being seen with him as his life could be ruined. Her ex is possessive and has ruined other peoples lives to be able to control her and make her stay with him.
Had a good giggle when Jax offers his advice to Logan "Jax style" about the whole situation
**“Oh, well, there’s an easy solution to that,” Jax tells me, so I look up at him, waiting for his words of wisdom. “You walk up to the ***ker and punch him right in his face.”**

Logan is a Seriously Hot Hero!
Lane Hart’s “Logan” is a spinoff of the Cocky Cage Fighters MMA romance series, and while it doesn’t incorporate action in the cage, it does revisit some favorite characters and has some action in its own right. Logan is a sweet, sexy, intelligent attorney who happens to be the previously stuffy big brother of Page from Book 1. Brayden is the high school best friend of Sadie from Book 2, a beautiful young woman who has found herself in a hopeless situation with a controlling, domineering older man. When Logan comes to her rescue, Brayden begins to realize that there really are good guys left in the world, and the chemistry she experiences with the gorgeous good guy is immediate and white-hot. Lane Hart’s “Logan” is a spinoff of the Cocky Cage Fighters MMA romance series, and while it doesn’t incorporate action in the cage, it does revisit some favorite characters and has some action in its own right. Logan is a sweet, sexy, intelligent attorney who happens to be the previously stuffy big brother of Page from Book 1. Brayden is the high school best friend of Sadie from Book 2, a beautiful young woman who has found herself in a hopeless situation with a controlling, domineering older man. When Logan comes to her rescue, Brayden begins to realize that there really are good guys left in the world, and the chemistry she experiences with the gorgeous good guy is immediate and white-hot. I can't believe that i missed buying LOGAN before I got the boxset COCKY CAGE FIGHTERS SPIN OFF
& what an emotional deep story between Lawyer Logan Davenport whom is the older brother to Page the wife of MMA fighter Jax Malone & met during him defending Jax. And Brayden Chambers who is the best friend to Sadie the Fiancé of Jax's younger brother Jude.
Anyway Brayden needs help as she's been arrested & stranded in Mexico when she went on holiday with her College but all's not as it seems & who's involved towards it.
And it's the time period of their couple of days there after Logan was able to get her out & those 3 days actually effected her deeply.
It's the attraction they have for each other but they have different reasons why they have to resist each other & hers is so much deeper than just any possessive ex, it's who the ex is or in the eyes of him he sees her as his possession & I JUST had a feeling who it was & what a man you wouldn't want to be there for you.

Logan is a workaholic. Trying to climb his way up the career ladder, all he does is work. I loved Logan. He is a genuinely kind, sweet guy. When his boss finds out his troubled daughter has got herself in trouble while on holiday, he sends Logan to bring her back home.
Brayden comes across as a spoilt rich girl but really she’s trying to get away from her obsessive ex. When Logan comes to her rescue it’s not long before the sparks start flying between them but they both know it can’t go further. Logan has his career to lose and Brayden already knows the lengths her ex will go to to keep everyone away from her. I found Brayden surprisingly easy to like. Feeling like she’s got no other choice but to go along with her ex, she’s not expecting Logan to fight for her.
This is another great book from Lane Hart. Both Logan and Brayden are really likeable characters and the chemistry between them is hot.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Logan's story. It was a little bit different from her other books. Logan was always so stuffy and working to reach partner status when we were first introduced to him. Therefore, as the book started out I expected him to continue along those lines. However when he met Brayden, it was like WHAM!!! He was smacked up the side of his head with her beauty. Then when he realized how frightened she was all he wanted to do was protect her. As their story continues you feel so bad for Brayden because of how trapped she feels and for the first time Logan wants something (or someone) other than work. I do not want to reveal all the details to the end, but I was not expecting the third person that came in to the picture. Thank you once again Lane for another awesome book.

I fell hard for the series and hard for most of the sexy hot fighters in the series, so much so that I was crushed when it drew to the end. But then Lane Hart announced that while the original series was coming to a close, it was far from over for everyone. That's how the spin-offs were born! So we get the same hot, sexy men and strong beautiful love interests all written by the same amazing author with just as amazing story-lines. And in Logan's book, Lane certainly did not disappoint us! It was a captivating story-line that flows very nicely just like all her books. I love how she brings the characters to life for us in her character development. I look forward to see what she brings us next!

After reading and loving all the Cocky Cage Fighter Novels, I thought we were finished but it was a lovely surprise to find Lane Hart has written Logan’s story. Although not a cage fighter, Logan played a part in Jax’s story being the brother of Jax’s wife Page. In that book he was a work obsessed lawyer, so it was great to see the softer side of Logan and what an absolute sweetheart he is. He is sent by his boss to rescue his wayward daughter who is locked up in a Mexican jail. Logan is not impressed at being sent but when he finds a broken Braydon suffering inhumanely in her cramped cell his heart goes out to her. Logan becomes smitten with Braydon but she’s is hiding a dark secret. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and had a chuckle at the interaction between Logan and Jax when Logan goes to see his sister Page for advice.

Logan has a little bit of everything
I loved reading this book. I thought it was a fast read and I really wanted to find out who this mystery man is in the book. This is a spin off book of the fighter books and while you don't need to read them all I would recommend to read Jackson's so you get the back story of Logan. Logan it a great character because I feel like he is a relatable guy who has a little bit of everything in his character. Brayden is the female character in this book and if you have read Jude's book then Brayden is Sadie's best friend. Brayden is trying to find her way but she's is struggling. Logan and Brayden meet only by chance when Page reaches out for help and Logan comes to the rescue but gets more then he bargains for.

Logan is a very busy lawyer. He gets an unexpected plea from his sister. Go to Mexico, and bail out a friend of the family. Turns out, she's his bosses daughter. Brayden has been put into a cell the size of a closet, in a Mexican jail. Her controlling ex boyfriend is responsible for putting her there. Logan goes to rescue Brayden, and by the time he gets her out, she's been in there for 3 days with no food or water. He's her hero! Can they fight their attraction to each other? Brayden can't have any relationship with him, because she's keeping a huge secret that could destroy Logan. I really liked this story, but I was a little disappointed with the ending. Brayden's secret just disappears, which is hard to believe. Other than that, great read!

I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader copy of this book. Loved this book! Brayden and Logan meet by chance, when he is asked to go to Mexico to bail Brayden out of jail. Brayden has been nothing but trouble but when he sees her and the hand she’s been dealt, he can’t help but feel for her. She found herself in jail due to her ex-boyfriend whose more trouble than he’s worth. The attraction between them was off the charts, Logan has realized that Brayden is not telling him everything about what happened to her. Will Logan be able to keep her safe? Will Brayden ever be able to trust again? Great story, can’t say enough, Lane is amazing and can’t wait to read more from her.

When Brayden is thrown in jail, in Mexico, Logan has to go get her. Not by choice either. She's his bosses daughter svdbehen he finds her, she's not good or as he hoped.
These two have super hot chemistry!!! And that chemistry combusts almost immediately! The setting isn't helping them keep a distance either...Beautiful! Will their attraction remain at this level once they get stateside?

A very quick and enjoyable read! Poor Logan Davenport is talked into rescuing Braden Chambers from a Cancun Mexico jail and finds out that his life of all work and no play has been rescued instead. The two meet under possibly the worse possible circumstances but that is enough for each of them to realize that the two of them together are something special to be cherished. The book has some twists and turns and surprises that kept me on the edge of my seat wondering what would happen next. Don't miss this spinoff book and if it is your first, you will definitely become quickly addicted to the writings of author, Lane Hart.

This is another fantastic novel by Lane Hart! It was great to finally see Logan get a girl! Brayden seemed like just the right kind of woman to get him to loosen up . They had their time in Cancun which seemed like paradise! But reality of getting back home always changes everything! He was the total opposite of what she was used to in a man. She knew she wanted him but she didn't see how that would be possible. But Logan would not take that for an answer. He thought if she wanted to be with him, and he knew he wanted to be with her, that they should be able to make it happen. He didn't know what (or really more like who) was standing in the way. Totally great story!

This is a novel in the Cocky Cage Fighters series and it features Logan and Brayden. I truly enjoyed this older man, younger woman story line. It’s not like he was old. He was 33 to her 23. I like that she was never portrayed as the ditsy younger woman. I found it difficult to imagine wanting to start a sexual affair on the heels of such a traumatic ordeal, but then again maybe it was life affirming. Logan was a little nerdish for most of the book but towards the end he developed a toughness, physically and mentally, that I wish he had from the start. He didn’t really act like a 33 year old man.
Look forward to reading more from this fantastic author.

Lane Hart is an author that commands your attention from start to finish! This "Cocky Cage Fighter series is unbelievable! Each set of characters took their journey to some pretty dark places!Each storyline went down, but rose to the highest heights of love , and this one wasn't any different? Logan was Brayden's lifeline that saved her? We must never allow anyone to make us feel less than we are! Logan broke the chains of control that Brayden had handed off to someone else. We must own up to our mistakes no matter how bad we think that they are? Love does conquer all!

This is a steamy, suspenseful, intense and romantic story. Logan is a thoughtful, caring and loyal workaholic. Brayden is an insecure, brave and sweet woman who has been emotionally abused and controlled since she was 17. When Logan gets a call from his sister that his boss's daughter has been jailed in Mexico and her father refuses to help her, he hops on a plane to go rescue her. Gradually he learns the exact circumstances of her life, and he vows to protect her. It's a great storyline with amazing characters that I couldn't put down.
