Engaging and great good fun from page one until the last page turns!
Yes, space bounty hunters stories’ are old story dating back to the 1970’s, by one of the most notable names among fantasy and sci-fi writers is Andre Norton.
This book is may remind me of her style and novels…. But it is totally different galaxy.
It is written about a physically enhanced tough female (shall we say bounty hunter), and her interactions with her talking AI spaceship and genetically enhanced intelligent cougar with communication capabilities as they travel the galaxy apprehending criminals, both alien and human, who are trying to evade capture
It is a fun a great action roller coaster action pack storyline with humor, the way they criticize or for a better term snipe at each other and action, plenty of action and the interaction between the hunter, cougar and AI ship is fun.
It is a rowdy good action story. I enjoyed this quick read; and you will fall for Raven and her big cat, James David Victor defines and portrays his characters and scenes with pronoun style, so that it stands on its own merits, This is the first novel in the series and I cannot wait to review the others if permitted.

I love animals that have enhanced features!
This book had a lot of things to like in it's favor. There was a female main character who was pretty tough; there was a really bad villain (also female); there was a talking spaceship, an ex-husband who wasn't so bad, and humorous dialogue What more could a sci-fi story need? I have already bought the next book. I have already read "Mercury Blade" and I enjoyed that book as well.

Another great story from this author Raven is a bounty hunter who's companions are a mountain lion and her ships AI. She is able to communicate with both via an implant which provides so very funny exchanges as the mountain lion is very sarcastic. Great first installment in what promises to be a terrific series

A new series by this author. Bounty hunter Raven gets the most difficult cases. She, along with a cougar and the AI that runs her space ship are very good at their jobs. This is another well written and interesting series. I look forward to where this series will take us.

This book starts to get your interest from the first page until the last. Raven is about family; and we protect family at all cost.. No matter that one is a Tree Lady (AI) and the other a big enhanced Mountain Cat. They work together, fight together and plan their next move.. The Hunt Is On.

I enjoyed the story but found the disconnect between the ex-husband’s storyline and Raven’s halfway through totally threw me out of the story. Also hate cliffhangers. However I really like the way you all write so will try the sequel.

Good book. It’s a stand-alone novel (no cliffhanger; THANK YOU) but clearly the start of a series. Raven is s smart, tough, imaginative bounty hunter with an uplifted cougar and an AI spaceship as partners. Great characters. I enjoyed this tale very much!

Nothing complex or technical. Just a good story with a few strong and believable characters.
