Amy DeMeritt is an author of Sapphic romance and an occasional poet. She is a lover of the arts, coffee and tea, a day of sitting on the beach watching the waves crashing against the shore, and good books and music to get lost in. (A good thunderstorm is one of her favorite forms of music.)

Amy takes inspiration from every experience in life and gives her imagination full reign to take a small detail and expand it into an intricate tale. Weaving experience, interests, and even pushing the boundaries of personal comfort, Amy’s stories take a reader on a journey of varying emotions and the joys and trials of love, romance, and growing as an individual, all of which are embodied in an entertaining plot with complex characters.

Chock full of good feels and big love, DeMeritt doesn't disappoint. About the only grumble would be having to wait for the next book... heh...

Upon a Snowfall

Continuing with the wonderful characters Brooke and Hannah, we see their love grows.
I love this second book. We have the same MCs., more in love and stronger together than the first. This book also has no angst, like the first one. This does have a cliffhanger, with no third book out yet.
I enjoy the characters Amy DeMeritt brought into the story and will cross Mt fingers that another book will appear eventually with these characters.

This is a really nice romance, which is very easy to read. At times the story is very sentimental and over sweet. In fact the author seems to delight in turning up the emotional levels to eleven.
For me it is probably too sweet and I would have liked more story beyond just their relationship. Also right at the very end of the book is the re-emergence of a sub-plot started in the first book, but the author has just left it hanging again.

Cliff-hanger!

This well written tale is the second installment in the story of Brooke and Hannah. Brooke deals with a plethora of stumbling blocks in her personal life, including her mother's cancer diagnosis, a career change, and a hidden secret from her past. How will this Pandora's Box of challenges affect her relationship with Hannah and the plans they've made for their future? The storyline flows from the pages and right into your heart. This book should be added to your must-read list. Amy DeMeritt is a brilliant and very talented writer. I highly recommend all of her books!

As great as the first –BUT THAT ENDING!?!

A sequel that definitely rises to the challenge of being as great a book as the first one was— BUT THAT ENDING… 💯 WTF?!? That's the ONLY reason I gave this a 4⭐ instead of 5 rating. But, if book 3 was to ever be released then I'd probably reconsider (😉 hint hint).
