Berkeley is a smoldering ruin.

Bloodthirsty demons prowl the streets.

A revenge-crazed magician ascends into heaven, vowing to bring it down in flames.

When Brian discovers Terry has cheated on him he is utterly devastated, and flees to San Francisco to sort through the rubble of his life…

When magicians open the gates of hell, the Blackfriars scramble to stop them from turning the East Bay into a nightmarish wasteland of torture and mayhem…

While everyone is looking the other way, a lone magician ascends through the planes of heaven with one mission in mind: kill God and bring the Kingdom of Heaven down in flames…

Wounded, bickering, and utterly incapable of handling the situation, the Blackfriars call on Brian to put things right. But if he’s not capable of even holding onto a boyfriend, how can he possibly muster the confidence needed to save heaven and earth?

let me first says that I am so very happy that there was no cliff hanger !

powerful, moving, images and issues theological and geopolitical - even drug and alcohol abuse issues addressed.

the drive to do good works for their own sake as a necessity.

totally bad a$$ demon butt kicking action - and some butts getting kicked by the demons and some ill actioned magickians.

as much of a geek about Tolkein and the Rings as I am, as much as I appreciate the awesomely depicted battles - I love the scenes with family, friends, and sunshine - and lost ones mourned.

thanks for sharing on Kindle Unlimited!

Powerful end to brilliant trilogy

I can not say enough good things about this book and the series of which it is the end. An amazing, brilliant blend of Kabbalism, Christianity, Wicca, Goetia, Thelema... I could go on, but J.R. Mabry does it better than I can. I can not recommend this book enough. Masterful!

I just love this series!! I wish it wouldn’t stop. The ending was great and glorious. It was so hard to put down to sleep or work. I just love all the different dynamics of people and relationships.
