Appalling
By the time I got to the part where the heroine needed to be spanked because she wouldn’t put her coat on I knew I couldn’t take it anymore. She needed spanking because she couldn’t be trusted to put her seatbelt on, etc. She was childish and stupid. Her mates treated her no better than a child and she was supposed to be a genius and lawyer. Couldn’t see any evidence of any of this cleverness. She was called a baby girl and princess by her mates. I could not finish this book. The plot just didn’t add up either.

These books need to be read in written order. What an amazing and powerful story that will include humans, shifters, the paranormal, demons, supernatural, and the sanctity of honoring vows. A legend passed down through the centuries in the Ambrosia family started with a business agreement being broken and a curse that will follow those in the family anytime a vow or oath is broken. Now that the dark force has been unleashed, they must be vigilant and continue preparing because it is just begun.
So many new things will come into play in this second book that keeps this edgy page-turning story intriguing. Deo and Cassandra will become a triad with the joining of Draco to their union (no MM scenes) and now not only will Draco be her Guardian, but he will be her husband, co-mate with Deo.

“I’d given them my vow, my heart, my very soul. Now it was time to give them my body.”
As protective and possessive that Deo is of Cassandra, her guardian, Draco, may be even more protective, cautious, and will take matters of great concern into his own hands regarding impending danger. He had loved her since he had first seen her in court before Deo married her.

Cassandra Ambrosia's life was literally turned upside down. First came the revelation that her husband, Deo, and his family are wolf shifters. Next, she learned of the curse. The pièce de résistance was when she learned she reactivated the curse with her careless disregard. The help of family and friends have calmed the storm...for now. But, in the aftermath, it's apparent Deo alone can't handle Cassie or her protection. As Deo turns to his friend, Draco, life throws another curveball at the trio. Draco's soon far more than Cassie's protector. As Cassie, Deo, and Draco slowly accept their love and new life, they form the trinity, the most sacred of vows, a seemingly unbreakable bond. The three are now one. But can even this save Cassie from the evil stalking her? She's headstrong and rebellious. Where do I start? While The Wolf's Demand was breathtaking, Her Alpha Mates is, quite simply, brilliant! One part is paranormal shifter tale. A second is hot, steamy ménage romance. And yet a third is supernatural thriller. Combine the three, and you have a world-class paranormal lover's dream come true! Cassandra is simultaneously willful, reckless, stubborn, brilliant, incredibly intuitive, submissive, and utterly fearless. Deo is, at times, almost too dominant and headstrong to even give credence to the possibility he might be wrong. His strength as alpha is unquestioned. But it's that very strength and absolute certainty that he always knows what's best that's also his deepest weakness. In many ways, he can't see the forest for the trees. But, for me, it's Draco who is front and center in this story. We only catch a partial glimpse of the real Draco in The Wolf's Demand. Now we know so much more, and I fell in love with him. He's a true force to be reckoned with, and he comes into his own with an explosion of beauty and power that's incredible. Add Alekos, Baal, Xander, Artem, Dolly, Cynthia, and Andrew to the mix, and this story jumps off the page and into your heart. Maggie Ryan and Shanna Handel are geniuses when it comes to breathing life into the stunning characters, devious plot machinations, and the rich, otherworldly realm in the pages of this book. Ms. Ryan and Ms. Handel have created that rare blend of paranormal, magic, romance, and elegance that transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary. This book is absolute perfection! Congrats, Ms. Ryan and Ms. Handel! With each new book, our expectations grow. That you not only meet, but far exceed, those expectations is proof of your extraordinary talent. life's to one another.They form a trio,a sacred trinity,soul mates for life.The men claim Cass,
mark her and are responsible for both her pain and her pleasure.Deo remains her king while
Draco is her Dragon protector.Cass is not happy with all of the changes in her life,angry would
be a better description.Her career as a successful lawyer gone with Deo buying the building to
keep Cass safe.Cass rebellious nature still leads to painful punishment by both her husbands.
Cass spends her hours trying to uncover the answer to the Ambrosia curse,she feels responsible
for breaking the vow.Draco whisks Cass away to safety,away from the demons.He is magnificent
in his Dragon form.Cass develops the gift of sight,she must return to Ravensloft to save Deo.This
is a fascinating paranormal story with,shifters,dragons,demons,legends,sacred vows,a ancient curse,
a mangy cat.There is no battle scenes in this book but it's still compelling and entertaining.I recommend
reading the books in order to familiarize yourself with the storyline and the characters.I was snared by
this book, the two authors have a great knowledge of writing paranormal stories full of such delicious scenes.It has the right blend of heart,romance,emotion and with a liberal dose of heat to warm up any redblooded woman.I wait eagerly for book three in this exciting series.

I really did love this second book that maggie and Shanna have put out, they both have done a marvelous job again. They certainly know how to pack a punch when putting together a great series.
Cassandra is such a delight, She works hard out at the gym improving her new found powers. But at the same time still defiant, so her mates have to have her punished to get though to her that they will do whatever they can to protect her from what is coming, and to make her safe.
She tends to forget at times so its no surprise when after defeing her mates wishes to meet her , she goes out and gets coffee. She is brought back only to get punished again!! I really love this women i love her attitude even though she is submissive she still likes to try and push the boundries lol.
Cassandra is in danger once more and is whisked back home again, only to find one mate hasnt been truthful about why she is home. Theses three must stay as a triad and learn to trust each other.
This book is certainly action packed and sexy as hell. i would definitely rec commend this to anyone else to read who loves men who dominate ladies and arnt afraid to dish out punishment

It’s hard to put into words how great this series, and this book in particular, is. While it can be read as a stand-alone, you won’t want to miss out on the first book which sets up everything as this one begins. What impresses me most about these authors is their fresh take on a classic genre, and they keep adding twists along the way to captivate their readers even more. I devoured this book to satisfy my curiosity on what is in store for characters who have come to life thrrough the talent of these authors. The words seem to leap off the page to the point I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough - but let’s face it, How can you not love a book that includes paranormal aspects, tension, danger, and sizzling chemistry, not to mention a book that while complete has characters you simply must see again who leave you lurking the halls of your favorite book supplier for the next release. “Double-dosed with Delicious Dominants”
I received an Advance Reader Copy for HER ALPHA MATES: A Shifter Menage Romance (Shifters' Call, Book #2) written by Maggie Ryan & Shanna Handel and voluntarily reviewed this book. In this installment, we see the progression Cassandra and her friends have made in their training and as well, she now has Draco as her second husband, a Triad connection forged by love from both men with her but also the protection the marriage affords her. They are extra vigilant with her due to the evil which is just biding its time with the Ambrosias.
The character development is deeper for all characters in this book, and new connections add even more interest as well as lend power to fight the dark & evil forces…which are not finished with their endeavors just yet. Another sexy and magical read in this series!

Her Alpha Mates is the second book of the Shifter’s Call series. As this story is the continuation of the first book, I strongly recommend you read the books in sequence.
Cassandra and Deo and also Draco made the pages of my e-reader burn. Their chemistry is combustive, the intimate scenes were smoking hot and the spankings deliciously naughty. Now that the dark powers are unleashed, there is also a lot of action and suspense that kept me on the edge of my seat. I cannot properly describe how much I love this series and I can barely wait for the next book. If you like action, magic, shifters, supernatural, hot, dominant men who know how to treat a woman, then this series is a must read.

I am not a big shifter, magic, paranormal, demons, and prophetess genre reader. But, I have to say that may change after reading this series.
I believe this book can be read as a standalone, but will be more enjoyable if you read book 1, Wolf's Demand first. It also picks up where the first book left off.
With Deo, Cassandra, and Draco forming the trinity and working with the other members of the Ambrosia family and their friends to thwart the demons, the action is pretty non-stop.
I am looking forward to book three to see if Cassandra and Artemis get closer to solving the mystery of the curse.
A fast paced enjoyable book. Even if you start with book two, I can't imagine you not wanting to go back and read the first book.

Deo and Draco takes Cassandra to be their mate. I love the relationship between them and how Deo and Draco take care of Cassandra and do anything to make sure she is safe. And they are inventive to when it comes to pinishements.. It made me laugh a few times and Maggie Ryan writes sexy scenes’so very well. My ereader was steaming up.
I loved finding out more about the characters, their background and abilities. I look forward to reading the next b

This is the second book by these authers that I read and I have loved them both. They write so well together. Cassandra is a hard worker working on her new found powers. She is still defiant so her mates need to punish her to get through to her so she is protect and safe for what’s to come. I love her attitude but she lands in danger again and now back home these three need to stay together and learn to trust each other.

I am addicted to fantasy stories and this series is an epic adult one. It's amazing! Extremely well written. Lots of different elements. So easy to read. I just love all the characters. A great continuation of the story with Draco, Deo and Cassandra. The story is well done with a great plot and execution. I really like that Cassandra hasn't immediately fallen into 100% submission by spankings with Draco and Deo, she was a presented as a strong independent woman and for someone to make that significant of a change would be extremely unbelievable.
I really enjoyed the story and cannot wait to hear what happens next at the Ambrosia castle.

OMG!! The second book in this series is fantastic! Cassandra started a war in the first book from saying one little four word sentence. This whole situation wound up with her not only having one husband but taking on a second! Deo, the king, and Draco Cassandra's dragon protector. This is a journey to learn how to be a triad and what that entails. Things don't always stay sane or simple or even calm. But life is exciting with two loving men/doms.

Deo and Cassandra are trying to find a way to break the family curse. They soon form a triad when Draco joins them. Cassandra is learning to use her powers while they are doing everything they can to keep her safe. This is a steamy, hot, page turner that leaves you wanting more. I would definitely recommend it.

Firstly read book one first! You will thank me for it, as this book picks up where book 1 left off. Secondly don't start reading this book if you have to leave the house or do boring adult stuff, because you will NOT want to put this sucker down!! Fantastic characters, smokin sex scenes, and so many twists and turns you will be frantically flipping pages to see what happens!

This is the second book in this series even though each is a stand-alone story. Deo realizes there is another alpha type person who is needed as the third in his marriage to Cassandra. This book explores that relationship and how their new marriage status defeats evil. A must read!

this is book 2 in a 3 book series that must be read in order so you can get what's going on. i repeat this not a standalone. there definatly is lots of discipline and some pretty hot sex scenes.this author has a great way with words and i can't wait for more from this author.

Still fascinated
Although there are no cliff hangers to frustrate me, this is looking more and more like a serial. Same cast of characters. Same featured characters. A continuation of the previous story. Yep! Serial. Fortunately it appears all is ready to read. This is enthralling enough that I am rushing off to read the next book.

Her Alpha Mates by Maggie Ryan and Shanna Handel is for anyone that is a fan of steamy shifter books! This was very entertaining and I really enjoyed it. I am voluntarily leaving my honest review after reading this arc.

I really enjoyed this second book in the series. The addition of Draco to the relationship ups both the heat factor as well as the drama of the relationship. I love that Cassandra is starting to come into her own powers. I'm definitely looking forward to the next book in the series.

Still an interesting story but wasn't as engaging as the first book. Plenty of steamy scenes and some action but not as exciting. If you are not into dominance or domestic discipline, you may want to pass on this paranormal romance.
