About the author

After a career in Marketing Communications, Kelly Tully sought to channel her creativity and passion for children’s literature into engaging books young people find relatable. Kelly has spent the last eleven years as a Literacy Mentor working with elementary-aged children to become stronger readers and writers, and is an active member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. Kelly is a strong advocate for getting books into the hands of every child, and volunteers for the Indiana Department of Children’s Services “Books for Youth” initiative, a community outreach program providing used children’s books to the 10,000 boys and girls currently in the Indiana foster care system.
