Warning: Sweet, sexy and safe read! Happily ever after guaranteed! This author writes what she likes to read. That means there will be instalove, OTT Heroes, and, brace yourselves, virgin characters at times. If none of those float your boat, you might want to find another book. If they do, you're in the right place.

This was a good debut story from May Gordon. Fast paced, instalove and a long celibate hero. It's a short read and flowed well.
- no cheating - no ow/om drama at all -no pushing away - instalove -no violence of a sexual nature - great epilogues that gave a look well into the future - which I loved!
This is a good story. It is very insta love so if you like that genre then you will like this book.
He is a silent, broody Hero which I love.
I did have a few issues with it. I understand the author is new so I don't mean to be super critical but a I felt a few things were unrealistic or maybe not followed through.
The heroine has a head injury as part of an accident and it's mentioned that her head is bleeding but as soon as she is released from hospital they are kissing he grabs her hair and she moans in pleasure not in pain. If she had a head injury wouldn't he have been worried about pulling her hair, she surely would have been in pain if her hair was pulled. There was no mention of cleaning up her hair from all that blood either.
She was a lawyer in New York and admittedly not a career she is happy in but she shows no killer instincts, ruthlessness or even investigatory traits considering she can't even remember her name.
She has no luggage, he buys her all new and this isn't curious, they were doing the long distance relationship thing but there is nothing of hers at all at his place. It seemed a bit far fetched.
It is mentioned it is a small town but no-one knows he's married, it's explained that he is a loner and they were trying long distance but still ... Noone??? In a small town where he is a mechanic and everyone knows everything about everyone.
Anyway allowing for my nit picking it's a good story.
Cute debut from a fellow #SafeRead fan. I'm pretty sure I am either safety buddies or acquainted somewhere. Only constructive criticism is have a proof reader after your final edit. There's some things that should have been caught. I enjoyed the flow of the story and all the characters. I really look forward to seeing where this author goes. I sure hope that her safety is mine too. That's rare though.
May Gordon...I love your books, especially the fact your heroes have been celibate for many years, thirteen in this story. I enjoy the virginal/long celibate heroines and the love the couple shares!
This was a great read that I devoured yesterday evening. The length of the story was spot on. The way you took an ex-con and developed him into a respectable and credible character that had made something of his life and owns his own business. Such a pleasant surprise. Two fantastic epilogues. Great to see that far in the future.
So I pretty much never write reviews, I'm not great at them, but I always try to give books I like good ratings. However I came across this book and I loved the blurb, it really caught my attention, I had high hopes for this book and was afraid I would be disappointed, luckily it was even better than expected. I don't get as much time to read these days so I am pretty picky about what I do read. I'm mainly writing this so hopefully the author will write more like this. Sorry if this wasn't helpful review wise.
These two were so sweet. Grant is a loner with his own mechanic shop. Grace is an on the run lawyer in town to do some digging for information on her missing mom. Her car breaks down and she calls Grants shop. When he gets there, there is a little friction between them due to their chemistry. She ends up getting ran down by another car, she gets put in the hospital, when she comes around with amnesia, she is convinced he is her husband. Grant is pretty smitten with her and never had a family, so these two are right in sync. He spoils her and treats her so well. Their life is going well until her dads goons come looking for her.
This was a sweet and safe read. No om or ow drama. A little story drama/suspense. A virgin with a sweet as hell fake husband. Baby batter, sweet epilogues and an hea. Sometimes things really are meant to be.
Wowza. I can't believe this is a first book for this author. I absolutely loved it. A few things bothered me. There was a word missing in a sentence, 2 words were repeated back to back. There was a contradiction about something in the house. And I think there was a spelling error or a a phrase was stated incorrectly. But all things I was able to move on from. I am anxiously waiting for more from this safe author
A quick read that had me cheering for Grant from the beginning. Grace and Grant are very cute together. Their story is short and sweet, but everything you need in a story. Highly recommend!!
I think this book was too rushed so I didn't feel like I connected with the characters. The author could've made it a bit longer and gone more into the characterization and the emotions which would probably have made me give it higher stars but as it stands it was just a really fast read. I could've skimmed it and had the same impact.

WOW this was such a great book!! This is the 4th book I have read from this author and she is quickly becoming a go to one click author for me! She has yet to make me lose interest in any of the books I have read. I felt so bad for Grant's past I'm a sucker for a hero with a sad past. Grant was a possessive protective alpha almost instantly. Grace was a great heroine. She didn't push or feel sorry for herself. She was strong and brave which I loved! The story had just enough suspense to keep you on the edge and some steamy scenes! Loved the epilogue. I look forward to more in this series if May decides to write more but I won't push her because I love her Crime King series to much and want those bad boys like yesterday!
I am voluntarily reviewing an ARC of this book for BMBB.
This was really short, insta love story about ex-con and and younger virgin. Very fast read, but not for me. There wasn't almost any drama in this book. Story went on pretty smoothly.
I don't know how I would feel if I was the one who were lied to. But I really liked how Grant was all the time saying that's my line

This was another one of May Gordon's sweet and quick reads. The story like most others are very short with quite a lot going in that time, but to make up for that the characters had good personality and good chemistry.
What did bother me a lot though, was that some of the events as well as actions of a few of the characters seemed very unbelievable....
Grace is a lawyer who is digging for information on her missing mom. Grant is a loner, who owns his own garage, and when Grace’s car breaks down she calls him. These two do not get off on the tight foot. No spoilers, this is a must read. This is a well written, sweet story, which had a tad drama and suspense. I look forward to reading more from this talented author.
Mended Hearts is book one in the Lost Memories series. Both books are 100% stand alone and not linked in any way other than a character in both books looses memories. It’s well written and an interesting topic. It is a short story that is packed full of instalove with just a bit of drama (NOT OM/OW drama) thrown in for good measure.
this was a really great book! i just felt like parts were missing. its a short read. she has a accident and cant remember anything. so he takes on the role of her husband. along the way feelings start and things heat up.
Love both of these characters from the start. Grace needs closure for a missing mother. Grant is an ex-con who wants a family. When an accident thriws yhese two together yhey find the family eavh desperately wants, Grant will keep his Gracie safe when secrets from her father become known.
I fell in love with this book, it sure packs an intense story in a quick read. Grant & Gracie we’re everything. Definitely b reading more from this author
The H sees h and that's it for him - she is virgin, he is ex-con and celibate for years. They both lie to each other but it works out OK. I liked it for a short, sweet read - multiple epilogues.
