Methods of Biblical Interpretation: Perspectives on Prophecy

Rate this book
This book presents some fundamental principles of Bible study. It highlights the position that no part of the Bible was written to any modern audience and unless what the Bible meant is first understood, then what it means will mostly likely be misunderstood. To this end, the importance of the historical, theological, philosophical and cultural contexts of the Bible are emphasized with respect to certain methodical approaches to study the Bible. Additionally, these factors are used to ventilate some primary principles of interpreting Bible prophecy.
