i rad this book as part of an arc program. This is the first book in the money for Love series. In this book, we meet brothers Declan and Samson, who run their family's real estate business. They specialize in buying businesses that are failing and renovate them to sell at a profit. The brothers have different views on the idea of buying failing businesses, Samson is more emotional about it and Declan thinks it is just business. Declan is also the father of a five year old daughter, Mila and doesn't date because of her. Samson is more of a playboy. When Tanner's garage is brought to their attention, Samson really wants to buy the garage and Declan agrees to see it. Alex is running her father's garage after he died and left it to her. The business is failing and she doesn't know what to do. She refuses to sell it and when Declan and Samson go to see her, she really takes offense to them. Declan sees Alex and she leaves him speechless. He is very attracted to her, but doesn't know what to do about it. Alex has never dated and never had the interest in men, until she sees Declan. After a few chance encounters, Declan realizes he wants to help Alex, he just doesn't know how. This book does end on a cliff hanger. I did really like it though, I loved how Declan really loved Mila and wanted the best for her. I think Declan has had a lot of bad things in his past and now he is not very trusting. I can't wait to read the next book.

This book showed me the difference between reality and reviews.

I read the reviews, which is why I decided to read the book. I haven't read anything by Parker or Timms, at least not recently, but I really was surprised at how shallow this book was. The character development stopped at having brushed the surface. "Uncle Sammy" was a ridiculous spoiled rich boy but that's all. There wasn't enough work on his character to tell you much about him. The we had Declan and Alex. He meets her once, its instalove and he's jerking off in the shower. Sorry, I wanted more about him, more development.

I also wanted MORE STORY. I wanted it to NOT sound like it was being recited. I want to read emotions. I don't want to hear "yes, this has really got me down". I want to SEE 'yes, this has really got me down". When Alex goes to the bank, Dan shows more emotion than she does. She's fighting not to look at the floor? Really? She's fighting for her business and she comes into the bank ill-prepared with some dumb plan when she's 3 payments behind? Way too immature.

I'm giving it two stars just for the delivery. I'm sure the authors can do better. Give me a mature, thoughtful, woman, not a teenage girl, and write her with emotion. And then do the same with the man, then you'll have my interest (and my stars).

What a way to start a new series. Alex now owns her father's motorcycle repair shop since he passed away a few months ago. Unfortunately the business isn't doing so well but she is determined to do her best to keep it going. Declan runs his family business which is Gamble Realty and they buy, renovate and sell failing businesses. His brother Samson has his eyes on Alex's shop but when they meet Alex, will Declan have eyes for Alex.? When they offer to buy her shop she turns them down flat. What will happen when the bank tells Alex she only have a few weeks to get paid up or she will lose everything? Will she go to Declan and ask for help? There is a sizzling chemistry between these two will that help or hurt both of their goals? This is a well written first story to a series and one that you should most definitely check out. There is so much more to this story than what I'm tell you but I can't delve to far into it because it would give to much away. A must for your TBR or one-click today. Enjoy

" Feelings nothing more than feelings."
That was the song lyric I had running through my head as I read this emotional turntable of pride, loneliness, confusion and what happens when business mixes with the messy side of a sexy connection- those feels blurring the edges..
A story that is entertaining/deep/troublesome all at once, with bold, intriguing, enduring well-defined characters, the first book in the "Money For Love Series" has started off with a bang!
Getting to know, Alex, Declan, Samson, Mia, along with several others have me hooked!
The heart hugging ups and downs that make up the paths they all are going down for different reasons is a unique and engaging, brilliant read- I cannot wait to see what happens next! I am enjoying the creative stylings of Ali Parker and Lexi Timms!
This is one you will want to read!

*Yes, it does end on a cliffhanger, but I think the outcome will be worth the wait*

Read For Author:
Kudos for Lexy Timms teaming up with Ali Parker on this because Ali Parker begin to create a love story with angst that will hold your attention, that has intrigue and uncertainty and just enough sexy to make you hold on for more.
Declan Gamble, a single father who depended on his brother Samson as a business partner and someone who was there for him with Mila. He was content with his life. The ran their Dad's Company.
Alex, lost her Dad and ran his business, yet she wasn't running so well. She is stubborn, head strong and finds her self attracted to Declan when he makes her an offer she doesn't like. When she is days away from losing everything she goes to him to renegotiate what will happen?
I read this book straight through, it held my attention, it was fascinating and I rather enjoyed it can't wait for the next installment to come out...

“Different people see things different ways. What you think is right isn’t necessarily right to other people.”

I was so excited to start reading this series. It does not end in a typical cliffhanger yet it leaves you wanting more! There were a few unanswered questions that I’m hoping get answered in the second book of the Money For Love Series.

“I’m not going to see her again. This train keeps moving, no matter how many stops it makes.”

This book challenges the characters core personalities. Independent, ruthless, stubborn, strong, single minded...it is going to be fun watching them both be broken down. I think they will be stronger when they rebuild...hopefully one another.

“... he kept pushing me. Challenge me. Like he actually thought he was right.“

When you have a young woman owning and running a bike repair shop in the bike male dominating world fall on financial hard times you get the sense that she is a no nonsense type of woman. The Gamble brothers want to own this repair shop. Declan Gamble wants more than just the shop- he is transfixed by this green eyed beauty. Alex Tanner has no use for the Gamble Realty the brothers represent but when a girl says no she means no. Alex is within her rights to circumvent the rules and applies her talents in the form of labour for Gamble Realty to make money to help her financial balance sheet. Love the characters and the writing for this story. Fantastic start to the Trilogy. Well done Ali and Lexy.

This is the first book in the Money for Love series and it is a page turner. Well written storyline, fantastic characters who are dedicated to their family. Declan and his brother Samson own Gamble Realty. They buy, renovate and resale properties that the owners are about to lose. Alex has worked on motorcycles all her life and when her dad died she inherited his shop Tanner Bikes. I loved how feisty Alex is and how Declan is attracted to her strength. Ali Parker and Lexi Timms are both exceptional writers on their own but together they make a phenomenal team. I can't wait to read the other books in this series to find out what will happen between Alex and Declan. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Book 1 in the series.. The blurb is not matching the book

Declan and Samson run Gamble Realty.. They find businesses in financial trouble buy them and then flip them for a profit.. When Samson wants to buy Tanner Bikes to keep Declan is totally against it until he meets the owner. When he meets Alexandra aka Alex he is more than smitten and than is wanting to do anything he can to help her

This books follows the path up to the purchase adn the deal made between declan and Alex to buy the shop.. While they both have feelings developing they have yet to embark on that journey.. Hopefully book 2!

When Alex's father past away she was left with the families motorcycle shop that was severely in debt. Declan grew up privileged, his family owns a realty company that specializes in renovating and selling troubled businesses. Samson, Declan's brother wants to buy Alex's bike shop but Declan is against it, that is until he meets Alex. This book is well written with a good storyline. The relationship between Declan and Alex is a slow burn. Will these two finally become item? This book does end on a cliffhanger and I can't wait for the next one. I voluntarily received an advance arc copy for an honest review.

Great start to a trilogy, it's exciting and had me hooked from the beginning, it's great to see the storyline develop, Declan, Samson and Alex all have good chemistry. Declan is the tough business man, whilst Samson is more gentle, they are owners of a real estate business and work it on behalf of their mother, they want to buy Alex's motorcycle repair shop as they know that she can't afford the repayments to the bank, she won't sell though.
This ends on a cliff hanger and i can't wait for the next book to be published.

This is not going to be a long review because this story has it all. It is passionate, steamy, hot chemistry, alpha male, strong feistry heroin, humor and twists that really not were expected.
I liked the characters and how they developed. I like it is written in dual POV, which gives the reader both the thoughts and feelings of the main characters. That makes the story even more emotional and captivating.
After her father dead Alex has a shop that is way into debt. A investment firm wants to buy her out. She meets Declan who is one of the owners of the firm. A slow burn attraction but absolutely full of hot chemistry.
I am not that for cliffhangers but this one is a bit different.

Declan and Alex's story begins in Hundred Reasons. Alex has inherited her dad's bike repair shop since his death and they are in deep financial trouble. Enter Declan and his brother who take over struggling businesses and flip them for profit. Alex refuses their offer outright. Declan can't get her out of his mind and they both feel the pull towards each other. When the bank threatens to take the business, can Declan convince her to let him help? Will their feelings towards each other become realized? Grab this first book and get started on their journey. I received an advanced readers copy of this book and am gladly leaving this review.

I absolutely love a tough business guy with a heart. Declan is a great character and as his relationship with Alex develops you get drawn on beautifully. Alex has hit hard times after the death of her father and Alex with his brother Samson, swoop in to take over failing businesses. He softens his approach with Alex and a very exciting relationship ensues! I love reading about strong women and their struggle to let love in. This book totally ticks every one of my amazing book boxes!

The writing collaboration of Ali Parker and Lexy Timms is a beautiful blend. Both incredible writers so you can imagine how great this book is!

Alex is a bad ass mechanic that for her lack of business experience is about to loose her fathers shop that she enherited after his passing. Declan is a single father, his company is looking to purchase another dying bussiness for a profit. When they meet is like something change for the both of them, Alex needs help with her shop and Declan wants to help her, the only thing is he can’t just give her the money it’s not a good move for him, she can’t accept charity so she offers him to work for him. What will be the outcome of their bussiness endeavor? I can’t wait to find out.

This is such a sweet, slow build. We get to see all of the push-me/pull-you tension between Alex and Declan while they try to figure out if their interactions are business or personal. There’s also a lot of emotional tension taking place within this story. That shouldn’t be a surprise, because I can’t read a Parker book without being reduced to tears at some point in the story. The ending on this book is a little abrupt, but it’s a ‘softer’ cliff-hanger than I’ve experienced in some other books. I can’t wait to find out what happens next.

More than a hundred reasons to read

This is an exciting and emotional start to a new series by Ali Parker and Lexy Timms. Strong, capable mechanic Alex and focused yet reluctant business CEO Declan really set the pages on fire with their interactions. As the reader delves into the world these authors have created you are drawn in and not eager to leave there are plenty of twists to keep you wondering and enough turns to get you back on track. A wonderful start to a new series. I can't wait to read the rest.

There isn’t an Ali Parker book I’ve read that hasn’t kept me wanting more. This is another example. Alex is a fierce independent woman who wants no handouts from anyone. Declan & his brother are in the business of buying failing businesses. But for some reason when he meets Alex he wants to help her not only buy it. There is some sort of pull there. Is she too strong willed to accept his help? I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

Hundred Reasons is the first book in the Money For Love series. While it ends in a CH, it’s not a typical or suspenseful type of CH. It’s actually quite subtle and not as earth shattering as both authors have done individually in the past. It was a little slow to the get go, but I appreciate all the foundation being laid. I received this book for a voluntary, completely honest and non incentivized review.

There are a Hundred Reasons why I love this book! This is one of those stories that builds and builds as it goes along. This isn't a rush for the finish line, but more of a walk through a meadow. The meadow is full of angst, undeniable chemistry, passion, ups and downs and twists and turns. The pace is slower, but that makes it possible to have amazing character building. I am a huge fan of both Ali Parker and Lexy Timms and when they get together their writing is simply breathtaking.

Wow book 1 was brilliant.  It told us of a struggle that Alex was living but also Declan. It was so warm, affectionate and loving that it had me on an emotional roller-coaster ride. The story was amazing and I'm so looking forward to seeing how this plays out. *coughs* Love that "No Sex" line. Yeah not going to stop that one. Book 1 gets 5 stars. Declan and Samson work in their father's real estate office buying and selling businesses that are going under. When he comes across Alex, his feelings get in the way of what he came to do. Alex is stubborn and determined to keep the business afloat. She and Declan's paths keep crossing will they become an item there is a lot of drama within this story that ends on a cliff hanger. To be continued

Missed that this story was part 1 and to be continued. I would not have read it had I known. Overall is was an interesting book and held my attention to the end. The author is a bit long winded and repeats herself frequently, so I skipped many pages. I did really like the characters and the storyline. Recommend it for those that want to read more than one book to get to the end.

Alex is a strong and independent woman who is struggling with the fallout of her dad’s death; grief and a failing business. Declan & his brother buy failing businesses, but instead he opts to help Alex revive hers.

Both characters are headstrong and hot for each other. Cue fireworks and a lot of heat!! Can’t wait until the next book.

Okay start and set up for the whole series. At times it felt like really long introduction, but it still managed to keep my interest with interesting and likable characters. The connection between Alex and Declan is definitely there and I can’t wait to see what happens when they start to spend more time together!

Declan and Samson were so different, but they both ran their company together. I liked Alex's feisty spirit, and Samson's lighter personality was charming. I think the beginning was a little long to get to the crux of the story. It didn't have as high a heat level as other books by this author, but it was good. The series sounds intriguing, and I want to read more.
