this book couldn't decide if it was for professionals or lay people, but for lay people this book had a lot of potentially harmful perspectives and this was definitely not trauma informed.

The worst book I've ever read. Don't read it. Find a better book for DBT. This book was filled with trite phrases and condescending suggestions. I'm a counseling intern a could write a better book.

Easy to read

An easy to read and understand intro to DBT. I found this a great first read for starting DBT with my therapist.
