TOM: The Sequel to X

Rate this book
It’s hard trying to pick up the pieces of my life after the trauma I’ve been through. I’m still haunted by the memories of my beautiful man of mystery, X, who saved my life. Once he was a blessing but now he’s a curse. If you’ve already met the man of your dreams, how can anyone else live up to that?

[TOM contains spoilers for X so it is recommended you read them in order.]

This was so not what I expected but so much better! The mystery of X was so cute and romantic. I loved Tom and X together. There was a bit of angst, mild steam and light sweetness. The pace was good, and I had a lot of fun reading about Tom and exactly what happened to him. Nice short sequel that had such good happy ending.

This is my second read by Kass Barrow and I loved it. Make sure you read X before you read this one as it’s a continuation of the story.

Toms cheating ex wants him back but Tom wants to move on. He knows he deserves better, he deserves to be loved. I was so hoping he would find love.

A well written m/m story with likeable characters. I’ll definitely be looking to read more from this author in the future.

This one is great sequel! It did answers all the mysteries in the first book. I can’t get enough of Tom and X. They are just so adorable and a perfect match.

I honestly hate Robert but in a good way. I enjoyed their humorous banters. I am glad it ended so well.

A must read! You did great @KassBarrow 👍🏻

So I knew going in to this I was going to love it....
The first book, X, was so ridiculously emotional and I absolutely adored it.
In this one we are seeing Tom after he has survived the incident. You need to have read X as the book is full of spoilers if you haven't.
Reconnecting with his cheating ex was something that wasn't on his wish list so when he encounters Robert and wants revenge, he does something he regrets!!
When in the coma he had found the perfect man for him. He knows it was all just a dream and that no one really exists like that so when he sees X at a club he can't work out if the trauma has affected his brain.
What follows is another intense ride...
I'm not sure whether I like the reality of what happened or not, the fantasy from the first book was just beautiful and although this was just as good in it's own way, I wanted to keep the fantasy going.
That's just me though and in no way a criticism of the story. I'm just greedy and wanted more ;)

4.5 stars.🌟 Brilliantly written for Tom and Xander story continues. Robert was a complete ass which I was waiting for something bad ta happen for Tom. I loved the first meeting for X and Tom of all places to met lol..  They were truly destined to be together but it wasn't easy.  A great ending for them both.
Tom sees his "cheating Ex, Robert at a party and is furious when he tries to worm his way back. Getting his life back on track after being in a coma was Tom's objective. But memories of his coma boyfriend X lingered which he thinks now was a fantasy.

Sequels can be better than first times.

The X factor from X takes Tomto the X power while Robert gets his Phil of his partner. Life can be great when you find your true love match, but even better with friends that become true friends. Reality and imagination can work out what is best in the end, but you have to figure out which end cums first.

Ejoyed...

After reading X I had to jump straight into Tom. They're short reads but well worth it. Love the characters and the ups and downs. So glad they got their HEA.

This was an amazing sequel to X, pulling all loose ends together and giving us a very happy ever after. I highly recommend both stories for some nice entertainment.
