When Navy Chief Johnathon Stone’s wife, Sarah, was diagnosed with a rare terminal cancer, he knew his family had to make the most of every moment. After all, they've always believed there is good in every day…you just have to find it. Finding Good is a firsthand look at the story of Sarah and Johnathon from falling in love in high school, to moving across the country and raising four children, to spreading hope to the world through acts of kindness, and handling life’s ups and down’s as Sarah battled appendix cancer. No matter what challenges you face, if you look hard enough, there will always be something good.
This is definitely a good read. He tells his story on losing his spouse and the mindset he had to maintain to get through these troubled times. He also provides excellent positive affirmations and journal entries.
This story is so motivating, even in the midst of pain and loss. The end of 2020 was so devastating with so much loss. The world in a pandemic in the midst of racial unrest. When I say this book, the subject of cancer drew me in. I just knew I would be weeping and wailing. I found love, resilience and hope. I heard Karen's story through the eyes of her husband. Karen's life story said live until you stop living. How you play out your story is up to you. The story needs a little grammatical clean up and formatting to make it flow smoother. I pray for Johnathan and his family that they would carry on. What an inspiration.
