Ruby has been flying in her dragon form around the mountains surrounding Bear Creek in search of a myth, a hope, a dream. Dragon shifters are so very rare that practically each member of her family, aside from she and her sister Sapphi, thought that they were the last surviving dragon. They’ve since found that not to be true, and even more encouraging than disheartening is the knowledge that many ancient dragons had been put under a spell of sorts that would put them into a deep sleep from which they may never awaken. Since her sister has found her mate and is living quite happily with him now, Ruby is doing the project on her own. She is determined to find those dragons who still exist somewhere and awaken them. So far she’s had no luck – except this early morning her dragon was certain she felt something then it was gone. That something is Ruby’s future.
Awakened Dragon is a touching, fast paced, certainly steamy romance with touches of danger – and catching up with some very old friends from Wolf Valley. Magnus has emerged from the mountain with only the tattered clothes on his back, knowledge of basic instinctual actions and knowing his name. Nothing more. Ruby will discover exactly who Magnus is to her, and together they will go on a search for his past and why he cannot feel his own dragon. I liked Magnus, he truly is a stranger in a strange yet familiar land. He might be ancient, but he certainly does manage to outwit his mate and his rescuer in humorous exchanges. There is a mystery here that will lead us to even more puzzles to be solved. We’ll also catch up with some recent new friends as their lives move forward as well. I had fun with Awakened Dragon, and I’m definitely going to be on the lookout for the next story. I’d recommend this story and this series to any Paranormal Romance or Shifter Romance reader who enjoys a good solid romance, lively characters, puzzles to solve and a tight knit community to enjoy.

2 stories in this one! Both great!
The Awakened Dragon book continues the Return to Bear Creek series with Ruby setting off to find other dragons and maybe her mate! Magnus only seems to know his name and nothing else, but then he meets Ruby and knows she is special. Together they try to find out about his previous life.
The second story is book 1 of the Wolf Valley series. This is about Kurt, who was a bad guy in a previous Bear Creek or Bear Bluff story... I can't remember which. Nadine helped him come back to himself when he was stuck in wolf form. Then she left even though he felt they were mates.
Both stories deal with finding yourself and figuring out who you are. Both have steamy scenes, a pretty fast pace and a storyline that is both action and character oriented. The characters are vivid and make you want to see them succeed. I am anxious to see what is coming next for Bear Creek. Read these in order Bear Creek, then Bear Bluff, then Return to Bear Bluff and finally Return to Bear Creek. Then you can go on to the Wolf Valley series of you want. Enjoy!

Fiona came home one day and showed her family a newspaper article about a man named Magnus who was found in the mountains with no memory. Fiona said that she remembered a man named Magnus Dumas who was a painter a long time ago. Ruby goes to Wolf Valley where he was staying to find out more. When she got there she dicovered that he was her mate.
Magnus can remember nothing from his past. The only memory he has is from when he was found.

This is a captivating, intriguing book which I thoroughly enjoyed reading. This book is about a female dragon shifter (Ruby) who sets out on a journey to awaken more dragon shifters, and discovers one (Magnus) in Bear Creek and he is her mate. Only there is a problem, he has amnesia.
What you will find in this delightful book is: dragon shifters, wolf shifters, bear shifters, drama, intrigue, twists & turns, mystery, magic, spells, amnesia, fated mates, confusion, opinions, memory flashes, attacked, tests, memories, sadness, love and passion.
The characters are well developed and entwine well with each other with regards to the situation they find themselves in and react with doubts, needs and desires. The story-line is well thought out and written. I would recommend this book to people who like to read a well-written Dragon Shifter Romance.

Wonderful and enjoyable read with likeable characters.
A wonderful story with our very own Ruby dragon finding her mate and doing a bit of growing up in the process.
Really liked Magnus and thought he was such an honourable man doing what he did.
Lovely spending time with Fara and Sol from an earlier series and also we had lots of time with our dragon family.
Nice news about Sapphi and Alex.
Percy puts Emilia to sleep as he doesn’t want anyone else to have her but as he has descendants, (THORN) did he marry anyway and have children. Hopefully we will find out in the next book.
I wonder if Thorn could be Emelia’s mate, that would be cool.

Magnus & Ruby
What a amazing read. Harmony Raines you did it again. I love this series and this one is my favourite so far. We finally get to see Ruby find her HEA after everything we saw her go through. Ruby is a dragon shifter. We first met her earlier in the series after she and her sister loose their parents and consequently get adopted by the most ferocious dragon shifter in Bear Creek, Fiona. And she finally finds her fated mate, Magnus. The problem? Magnus was found wondering in the cold mountains with no recollection of who he is. Fantastic read and can't wait to read Emilia' s story. Highly recommended

Decent story, more involved than a lot of the others in this series.
There is a second "Bonus Book"- Redeem the Wolf - Wolf Valley Raiders (Book One). I started reading it, but I could tell even in the first few paragraphs that there *must* have been a previous series that linked into this story. I'm holding off reading this until I can find the previous stories.

Sleeping...
Ruby is searching for sleeping dragons in hopes of awakening them. When a man, with apparent amnesia, is discovered wandering in the mountains, Ruby heads to Wolf Valley to investigate, and finds more than she expected.
I truly love this entire series! The stories are stand alones, but much better if read in order!

Bear Creek dragon shifter Ruby finds that her mate is recently found in the mountain and currently living in Wolf Valley and trying to find his memory with help from a friend. Ruby gets her family involved and bits and pieces of memory return, but it's not until they go to the monastery near the home of her sister's in-laws that real help is found. Another beautiful story from Harmony Raines!

This is a sweet love story with a mystery attached. Rudy finally finds her mate but sadly he has lost his memory and his dragon. They work together to get them both back and full in love. As always Harmony has written a wonderful book full of everything you want in a shifter Romance

A mate from another time
I always thought there was something special about Ruby, so when she finds her mate she knows she has her work cut out for her. With her family at her side she help Magnus recover his memory, Dragon and uncover a heartbreaking past. Can they save his sister. So many events going on in this story I ready to continue the adventure.

5 star book
I like reading Raines novels. They are quick and fun with a HEA ending.
This novel earned 5 stars due to the complex story line. I loved it. This novel was as much love sorry as it was adventure. If you haven't read Raines, you should start now. It may seem like 18 books is a lot to get through, but it's worth it.

Getting Hot With Dragons!
Oh, my, what a beautiful story. Ruby has found her mate, but he has a mega problem, he's been asleep and when he wakes, he's lost his memory. There are other mysteries to solve and be solved. I'm anxious for the next book in the series. This has some old and new characters that are truly loveable. Some sexual content.

Adventure and mystery
I love the whole series of bear creek. This book was full of adventure, history and mystery. I enjoyed the new characters. Each book does not disappoint in making me appreciate Harmony's writing. I always enjoy the story and look forward to the next story and hearing more about prior characters and meeting new characters.

A dragon prince in time

This book had all the feelings that would tear couples apart.
Ruby and Magnus stood together no matter what was thrown at them.
My own heart felt the happiness and the sorrow their hearts felt.
My heart broke when Magnus had to leave his sister in the cave in her eternal sleep.

A very favourite author.
Another great story from Harmony Raines. While I haven't read everything she's written, everything I have read (many different series) has been thoroughly enjoyable. As always, extremely well worth the read.

Ruby was a great story. Finding her mate was wonderful. I liked the way you made her mate a man from the past. Kurt's story started out with tragedy and ended up with love.

The Dragon is awake
Awesome love these characters and their personalities the advetures they have, so much drama. This is a great read. Suspense, mystery, and love...true love. Family. Can't wait for the next Awaken Dragon story.

I'm still waiting on the other shoe to drop with Thorn. I don't trust him , I think he is up to no good like his ancestor. I loved that Magnus was such a powerful Dragon and a gifted artist. Finally Ruby got her happily everafter.

Love this series of books the author tells a good story with wonderful characters and makes it hard to put down until finished so it's a well deserved five stars and I would recommend this book to everyone

A Beautiful Memory
