A rare break from the front lines, brings two high ranking Navy SEALS to board an Amtrak train bound for New York City. Dalton and Dude are ready for some fun and relaxation. Ava, is an efficiency expert for the train line and on board for work only. But you know what they say about best laid plans.
Dalton and Ava make an instant connection and enjoy some time chatting and sharing a round of beers. Suddenly, things start to go amiss. Wi-fi connection dropped, suspicious Amtrak workers board the train. Ava knows something isn't right and Dalton and Dude can sense things are about to take a wrong turn. What happens over the next 30 minutes is nothing short of heart pounding, intense suspense.
A race against a clock the save all the passengers and the possibility at the chance to find happiness. Hang on tight for this sexy thriller!

Fantastic Book
This is the first book that I've ever read by Jillian Anselmi and I was surprised at how fast paced plus full of non stop suspense this story was.
Ava works for Amtrak and has broken up with her boyfriend of three years when she decides to take the train to New York. Little does she know she'll meet Cody a Navy SEAL on leave with Faulkner "Dude" Cooper. But when terrorists take over the train there will be a surprise that you'll never see coming that will knock your socks off.
Cody has been looking forward to a weekend with the guys in New York so instead of driving he and Dude catch the train. Throw in a bomb and a few terrorists and you have a perfect storm that has everyone helping to stop the train before the bomb explodes. I half expected Tex to pop in with information on how to stop a runaway train.
Well written suspend filled story and I loved how this story was able to wrap up the story line in a novella. There's even reference to Mr. and Ms. Stoker (Agent) in the story which was a pleasant surprise. I've found a new author to read which is the best part of this book.

Two hot Navy seals check. Train ride check. Terrorist check. What do you get when you combine them? You get another amazing story from Author Jillian Anselmi.
Dalton and Dude are on a train heading to New York for a reunion with some fellow Seals. Ava an employee for Amtrak is on the train as well. Dalton and Ava see each other and immediately sparks fly. As the ride gets underway they each notice things are not as they are supposed to be. . Suddenly the train is taken over and mayhem ensues.
The author has done an amazing job with this story and the Kindle World. The story is action packed from start to finish. I can’t wait to get more of Dalton and Ava. Thank you Jillian for a great story.

Protecting Ava is a cleverly written story that feels like a modern twist of the old black and white movies filled with suspense and ‘whodunnit’. The majority of the book is set on board a train, and I loved this concept from the moment I beta read the book. Knowing that Dalton, Ava and all the other passengers are unable to escape really adds to the suspense. Jillian Anselmi also throws in a little unexpected surprise and proves again that you can never be sure what she has planned next.
For me, this addition to Kindle Worlds is the best yet by Jillian Anselmi and I'm excited to see what is next for this new Special Forces: Operation Alpha series.

Jillian Anselmi has written another quick-paced, on the edge of your seat story that will get your heart pumping. Plus we get to see Dalton again with all of his protective SEAL nature. And he meets Ava before all of the action begins and makes it his duty to see that she survives the ordeal. I love these suspenseful novels that Ms. Anselmi has been giving us to read. And hopefully we get to see more of Dalton and Ava in future books.

Great buildup for an exciting story. A train is over run by terrorists and has a bomb on board. Luckily there are also two Seals on board as well. This story moves very quickly, Seals identify terrorists, locate and defuse bomb and save the day

Page turner. I couldn’t put it down. What was meant to be a relaxing trip turns into a mission. The electricity between Dalton and Ava was felt right from the beginning. I was on the edge of my seat reading this.

Enjoyed this book. More about the story line than just about sex, which there isn't any. Cody and Dude board a train to join their friends for a unit get together. He meets Ava on the train, but then it's hijacked by her ex fiance no less.

Good read
Ava met Cody while on an Amtrak train. While on the train terrorists take over the train and have a bomb. Now Cody and Dude have to find the bomb and then disable it. The leader of terrorists is Eva's ex-finance. She broke up with him about 6 months ago.

The ending fell flat. I might have rated higher if we'd gotten a better ending. The story was well written. Just not enough
