***RE-RELEASE!**

Evan Wallace had it all; a football career, a loving wife and a life he worked hard to obtain. Until one day it all fell apart, spiraling him into the darkness at the bottom of a bottle. Guilt eats him up and spits him out, back into the town he grew up in, no longer the hometown hero. He’s got nothing left and nothing to give, to himself or anyone else. He no longer has forever.

Trudi Landers has loved Evan for as long as she can remember, but Evan only saw her as a girl from the wrong side of the tracks. When she realizes Evan has hit rock bottom, she befriends him and becomes his shoulder to cry on, and searches within him for her forever. Can Trudi save the man she fell in love with years ago, or is she the one that needs saving?

In this life, you get one forever, there is no in between.

One thing I can say about this book is I completely devoured it in one sitting. Out of all of Lynn's books, this one has to be the best ever. Okay. I have soft spot for Evan. That man. Was the BMC to barely surviving. It was honestly heartbreaking watching how tortured he was in this story. Between the death to numbing the pain then to discovering more about himself. They say it takes that special someone to open up your eyes and feel something that makes you live. Trudi did this for Evan. While it took a while for them to get there, the battle was beyond worth it. You could feel their pull right from the start. Trudi has gone through some insanity in her own life then when they are both throw into this insane mystery and things start to happen to them and the people they know, all hell breaks loose. When those twists come to fruition though! MIND BLOW!!!! I seriously did not see it coming.
Overall, I was totally consumed by this book. Between the character development of both main characters as well as the epic storyline and the suspense behind it, I have fallen in love with this book! This story is so much more than two people from different sides of the tracks falling in love. It is about discovering your self worth, finding love when you least expect it and very much about moving on from absolutely tragic circumstances. If you want a story with some twists and turns to keep you on your toes and some sizzling slow burn, I would highly recommend this one to anyone. It is brilliance!

This was so boring.

In the start, the hero is having sex with every other girl and the heroine is always saving him and running after him

Then we have the hero showing interest in the heroine out of nowhere and the heroine acting cautious and dramatic
Heroine is all like "we're just friends", "I'm just a rebound", "I don't trust him"
Seriously? Then why were you thirsting after him for so long!

Then we have the killers who are after the heroine whose reason for killing her made no sense whatsoever
The one who tried to kill her wasn't even upset about her, he was upset on the hero!!
The identity of the villian was blatantly obvious

The heroine was TSTL, BIG TIME
Someone sets her workplace on fire, tries to hit her with a car, tries to kidnap her, threatens her, chases after her in a car, ransacks her place, kills her father, beats up one of her friends and what does she do??
SHE LEAVES THE PROTECTION OF THE HERO AND POLICE AND GOES OFF ON HER OWN.
All because she needed to be alone. Yeah well she gets plenty of alone time tied to chair kidnapped so win for her I guess

Leaves you wanting more !

Evan and Tru each have their own demons. Loved the premise of the story but feel as though it could have went deeper and at least had an epilogue at the end. Few grammatical errors and typos, but I my one wish is that there be a novella or even another novel that gives updates on everyone. Good job Ms. Christa 👌

Between Forever

This is a good story a little repetitive and one part is confusing, but a good story. Christa has many wonderfully written books.
