About the author

Candace began writing after the passing of her son in 2009. It has been an emotional release for her. She is supported by her family and friends. Other than the time she is writing, she sits back for hours reading books by her favorite authors, Tijan Meyer, Rachel Vincent, Richelle Mead, Colleen Hoover, Claudia Gray and so many more. That or she will go for a calming drive while listening to Eminem, Slim Shady, Marshal Mathers or The Rap God, whichever you would like to call him. Her kids are just like her, sarcastic, but fun loving. The rules she lives by 1 Don't take life too seriously 2 Don't live up to others ridiculous expectations 3 Surround yourself with people who love you for you 4 If life becomes too much, have a stiff drink and start again tomorrow.

What the F#uck !!! A total cop out !

I knew it! I just knew that this author had misgivings and was afraid to explore fully how her socially taboo story could and it's play out in real life all over the world. So instead , she did a cop out and made a knee jerk decision , that yes it goes with the age of her characters but does not go with the level of love and devotion characters had for each other. It was a rash action made while deeply grieving .

If you research you'll find out that the relationship of two consenting adults as the hero and heroine are, it's indeed legal in over 60 countries worldwide and many states in the United States. Yes, it's unconventional, but by no means unique in it's nature. Also, DNA advances have shown that there are many misconceptions about children born from that union. With the level of wealth and family back up ,that the hero has the level of misinformation is ridiculous and sad. And that makes the ending of this short novella more infuriating.

I think , the outcome and underlying nature of this book has to do more with a personal feeling , angst and traumatic experience in the author past than the characters nature and development.

I was not entertained reading book as you can gather. I am angry because author got so many things wrong when explaining the decision for the outcome. I don't like spoilers in my reviews ; so I will just say don't expect a HEA or HFN because you won't get neither.

This starts off from where we were left in Torn. Now Abby is pregnant but will the baby be ok, will they both have their happy ever after ??????? I have to say this pulled at my emotions so have the tissues, an AMAZING descriptive, emotional, heartfelt read that I have read in a long time. I won't put anymore as I really don't want to ruin it by putting spoilers as i think once you start this book you won't put it down,...... I didn't. Candace you have certainly put your heart and soul into this beautiful story. Thank You.

Book One had me intreageud. Book two had me hooked. Candace Dowds knows how to reel you into a story and not let go till the very end. I love how she isn't afraid to dive into the
"forbidden". Anything Candace is a must read.

I received this book as a gift. I found this book wonderfully written, absolutely brilliantly continued from where Torn finished. and added amazing cliff hangers that kept your heart in your throat.
