Brooke Delancey is looking for a fresh start. She’s packed up her heartbreak and traded her old life for a new beginning, managing the prettiest hotel on Cape Cod. She swears this time will be different: no drama, no distractions, and definitely no heart-stopping kisses with a handsome stranger. Which is exactly what she finds the night she meets Riley Ford.
Riley is gorgeous, charming… and intrigued by the buttoned-up blonde whose kisses are anything but restrained. He knows a thing or two about starting over, and he’s convinced a little fun is exactly what Brooke needs to put the past behind her. And he knows exactly the man for the job…
With a tempting offer like that, Brooke can’t help but try another kiss - or two, or three. But as the chemistry gets hotter, and their connection deepens, Brooke and Riley will discover that building a new future means reckoning with the past.
Can two unlikely hearts take a chance on a new tomorrow? Or will their sparks burn out with the end of summer in Sweetbriar Cove? Find out in the sweet and sexy new read from New York Times bestselling author Melody Grace!
Melody is a New York Times bestselling romance author and screenwriter. You may already know her writing from ‘Bridgerton’ on Netflix, and the romcom movie ‘Jingle Bell Heist’... Now, she's launching a ‘Gilmore Girls meets Beach Read’ small-town/cozy spice romance, ‘The Book Lover’s Beach House’ - coming June 9th!
Bahhhh I love all the characters of Sweetbriar Cove!!! I honestly couldn't wait to read the newest installment of our friends from this quaint town. It's like waking up in a different world. Melody's words have the ability to transport you into Sweetbriar picking up where we left off from Summer and Greyson's love story. However, each book can be read as a standalone, but after reading one, you'll definitely catch up with the rest.
The Only One is Riley's story. We've picked up from the previous books that Riley is the town player. Built like a god, charming and super sweet, Riley has been living the easy life for a few years. Until he meets Brooke and he starts wanting more from life again.
Brooke is new to town, running as far from her past mistakes as she can. She's a wounded bird that is unsure that she should trust herself again. Brooke is so full of fight and determination, she's bound to succeed at anything she puts her mind to. Even if it's just a little harmless fun with Riley.
Riley and Brooke has just what the other needs. Reading these two characters, I felt like watching the love of two friends unfold. Melody's words are able to paint a picture like no other. I could smell the ocean air, see the wedding extravaganza, and was in awe of the fragrant flowered courtyard. I felt the heat and passion from these lovers kisses 🔥🔥
I would stay in Sweetbriar Cove forever if I could. I will definitely be returning for the next story featuring MacKenzie 💜
The story of Riley and Brooke was so perfect - another gem by Melody Grace!
…he’d been punctual—already waiting at a table in the corner when she’d arrived. Sure, it was because he liked to clean everything down with the antiseptic wipes he carried in a little plastic pouch, but hygiene was always a good thing. Right?
She was a smart woman, she had a college degree and great references, she could program her universal remote and tell when her friends started dating low-life, no-good cheaters. But it turned out, when a low-life, no-good cheater came along to sweep her off her feet, Brooke was swept right up in all his pretty lies.
I thought leaving everything behind would help, but sometimes baggage has a way of following you around.
Only child. I’m their sole source of disappointment.
Real men don’t mope…. We brood. In a manly, strong fashion.
My Review:
I continue my girl crush on Melody Grace and her adorable and delightful Sweetbriar Cove series. I enjoy her crisp and amusing writing style, delectable characters, and a collection of recognizable and interesting people with realistic yet unusual problems. I was drawn to this enticing couple and enjoyed watching their easy friendship evolve into an incredibly steamy relationship, as each grew in confidence with themselves and each other. The characters were smart, witty, and cleverly written, and provided a fun and enjoyable read. I will be eagerly awaiting the next book, which is scheduled for release in November.
“It’s not rational.” “There’s no pro/con list, or reasons why. It’s elemental. Just simple chemistry in the end.”
“What was it about this woman that sent him from zero to totally distracted in just one breath?”
Told from dual points of view, The Only One is the third book in the Sweetbriar Cove Series and it follows the story of Riley and Brooke. Now, I don’t know about you guys, but Riley’s story is one that I have been waiting impatiently for. And boy does Riley’s story ever deliver!!
On the surface, Riley is this chill, laid back ladies man. He lives his life as a bartender and doesn’t have a care in the world, other than who he’s taking home the next night. Everything changes the moment Riley meets Brooke. He recognizes the need for a fresh start and the need to blow off some steam. And if anyone can show Brooke a good time, it’s Riley….After having her heart destroyed, Brooke wants nothing more than to start over and focus on her career. She doesn’t have any room for distractions and is determined to stay away from all men. However, she wasn’t counting on Riley. The connection and chemistry between the two of them is knock you on your ass intense and no matter how hard Brooke tries to fight, she can’t resist the pull of Riley…
The Only One was just the read I was looking for. It gave me everything and I mean everything that I wanted and needed in a Melody Grace novel. The characters were fun and easy to relate to. You couldn’t help but want to know more about these characters and find out what makes them tick. I loved the ease and flow of Riley and Brooke’s relationship. The push and pull between the two of them was very palpable and the tension just burned up the pages. I loved Riley’s determination and enjoyed seeing him fall and try to woo Brooke. Brooke was very easy to connect with and was the type of girl that you couldn’t help but root for. I loved seeing Riley and Brooke together. Aside from their amazing chemistry, their relationship just felt really easy and real. I just couldn’t get enough of these two together.
The Only One is a fantastic addition to the Sweetbriar Cove Series. It was everything I wanted in a second chance romance with the perfect mix of romance, drama and sexy good times. The Only One is the perfect blend of sweet, and sexy with the alpha goodness I have come to know and love from this author. This is the perfect summer read to spend the day getting lost in.
*I was provided an ARC copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review*
The Happily Ever After Hotel brings us back to Sweetbriar Cove for the third book in the series.
Meet Brooke, who's looking for a soft landing after the trauma of finding out her boyfriend is already married. Ironically, she's trying to establish the hotel she manages into a premier wedding venue, even having given up on romance for herself.
Riley has also been betrayed. Not by a lover but by his long-time friend and business partner, leaving him questioning if any relationship can be trusted. His reputation as a Don Juan precedes him. They strike up an unlikely and uneasy friendship but eventually have to admit that there's much more sizzling under the surface. Can they leave their pasts behind and grab the chance new love is giving them for HEA?
This was another delightful story by Ms. Grace. I can always count on her to deliver enchanting characters and captivating storylines. I understand this book was previously published as “The Only One” and has been updated. I had not read the original, so this was completely new to me, and I just loved it! I did receive an ARC from the author and am pleased to share my own opinions.
*Book Received in Exchange for Honest Opinion/Review*
This book wasn't bad until the last 20% when I became completely over this story. I have been reading Melody Grace since she started and maybe I have out grown her, but I feel like her books aren't progressing and she isn't growing as an author. Each of her books are becoming redundant and I want to see a kick-*ss, brazen female who can admit she screwed up without the man groveling first.
I feel like Melody takes me up to the point where she could break my heart and then put it back together but instead she hands me a cookie and sends me on my way. Now I am not saying the cookie is bad but d*mnit I need her to go there sometimes and make me sob. I want to have that emotional connection to her characters but instead I just feel very meh and over them by the end of the book.
I found Riley charming and charismatic, he is quick and bold and damn be the consequences and I find his love is like his personality. They just fit him flawlessly. Now let me tell you about Brooke...I have many issues with her. Mostly being that I felt like she didn't grow as a character, she was very stagnant, stubborn and full of herself. I was actually pissed at last 20% of the story because Brooke should have been groveling at Riley's feet begging for forgiveness. She was fickle, insecure, and indecisive. I also so thought she was a hypocrite because God forbid she calls everyone on their sh*t but the second someone calls her out, she goes off on them and then spends months avoiding them. I know, I know she sounds like a real winner.
I am just desperately missing the emotional connection to her female leads lately, I find Brooke to be passive, unrelate-able, whiny, and annoying. Which is probably why I will say Riley can do better. So while the story wasn't bad, it just isn't doing it for it. These characters aren't memorable and I will be thinking about the food in the story far more than the story itself.
I was so excited to be back in Sweetbriar Cove, this time with Brooke and Riley.
How does a girl put heartbreak behind her and try to find herself again? That is exactly what Brooke is trying to do. After experiencing such heartbreak, she decides to pack it all up and start fresh with no expectations of love. Well, enter Riley and watch the sparks fly!!!
I really enjoyed the story as well as the character development. I also enjoyed having past characters in the story as well.
This was my favorite book in this series! What happens when you have a girl who doesn't want to get into any new relationships meets and gets involved with a man who only does flight?? You get Brooke and Riley. Two people not looking for each other, but when they find them, sparks fly.
This was my favorite book in the Sweetbriar Cover series to date. I loved the couple, their story and their chemistry. I am not sure about the run away bride story that took up a lot of this book. Unless she is getting her own story down the line, it seemed unnecessary.
Sweetbriar Cove is the sweetest small town. I was so happy to be back there. Brooke is trying to find herself again after a disastrous mistake. She's been through a lot and it was nice to see her slowly let her guard down. Then there’s Riley, the charming, easygoing guy who brings so much fun and warmth into Brooke’s life. Their chemistry was so sweet, and I loved watching Riley help Brooke step outside of her comfort zone while they both figured out what they truly wanted.

What a gorgeous story this was... Brooke moved to escape the heartbreak of a man she was so totally blindsided by.. and Sweetbriar Cove was the perfect place to do that with its quaint town, beautiful beaches and friendly locals. The one thing she didn't count on was Riley... the local bar owner, free spirited, gorgeous, and a fantastic kisser! Neither wanted commitment, but neither could they fight the unbridled passion and chemistry when they were close to one another! This was a story of heartbreak, loss and love found... can't wait for my next visit to Sweetbriar Cove!!
This was a good read. Brooke has moved away since she found out her boyfriend was married. Here she meets Riley and he is the towns hottest bachelor. Even though neither is looking for something series by the end it does. Thankfully after the drama they are able to get a happy ending.
Brooke and Riley's story in The Only One exceeded expectations with Riley's wild personality. As with the first two books, it was well-written, and the characters have their own personalities.
It is so easy to get lost between the pages of a Melody Grace novel and this one was no different. Welcome back to the Cove. This is book 3 in the Series but can be read as a standalone.
Where better to mend a broken heart than in a quiet beach town. New friends, job and a fresh start but Brooke doesn't expect to find a new relationship. Those she has sworn off to protect her heart.
Riley.....hmmm hmmm. Who doesn't love a carefree laid back guy? But Riley hasn't always been that way and his tattered trust makes him steer clear of anything serious. Relationships for sure. But when Riley and Brooke meet they find not only attraction but an underlying connection. Friends to lovers. Come take the journey with Riley and Brooke and experience life in the Cove.
Delightfully romantic! Brooke and Riley appear on the surface to be complete opposites. Yes, they have different approaches to life, yet inside, deep down, they both share the experience of complete betrayal.
They decide to be friends and that is a foundation to a long lasting relationship. Chemistry does the rest. Neither is looking for a relationship but when they are together, they are both so much better as individuals.
This another sweet, funny, enjoyable and delightful story from this author. The romance is hot and the decisions our characters make are so human in nature. This author understands the heart of the matter.
I am voluntarily reviewing this book. Thank you to the author for sharing a copy with me.
Was so happy for hottie Riley to find such an awesome catch with Brooke This was a fun and flirty romance. It was such a sweet and hot romance I love this series and so look forward to catch up with how all the tales weaveand entwine in these Books!! Thank you for making the books so much fun!! They are awesome
Oh how I've always loved Riley and so glad he got his story. Brooke couldn't have been more perfect for him. They've both been hurt by the ones they have trusted in the past. So for them to come together was so beautiful. Loved this story as always, thanks Melody.
I adored Brooke and Riley's love story! I've been waiting patiently for someone to come along and knock Riley off his manwhoring ass, and he found that in Brooke. They both want something in the other, and they don't even realize it. I can't get enough small town romance with Melody Grace!
Another hit for Melody!!! I loved The Only One. While this is book three in a series, it can be read as a standalone. Brooke and Riley were so sweet together! I loved the feel of the small town romance. Melody is really good with writing these types of books! She has a way of drawing you into a book and keeping your attention! I can't wait for the next book!!
The Only One is another sweet trip to Sweetbriar Cove, a fictional town located on Cape Cod. Each book in this series can be read as a standalone.
Brooke is a fairly recent transplant to the area which seems to serve as a refuge for those on the run from heartache and the pain of their past based on what we have seen from the characters in the first two books of this series. In Brooke's case, she left big city living and Chicago in the rear view mirror as quickly as possible to escape the pain of heartbreak, but months later she is still stuck in the quagmire of guilt and remorse over how her last relationship ended. She is throwing herself into her work but as the story opens, her friend has convinced her to go on a blind date with some pretty funny results. As Brooke is searching for an escape route, she notices one seriously hot guy at the bar who ultimately throws her a lifeline AND one of the most scorching hot kisses of her life. She has no doubt he is an extreme danger to her fragile heart though so she runs away as fast as possible.
Riley has been enjoying living a low key life in Sweetbriar Cove since he walked away from a high stress job and a backstabbing best friend and business partner in Silicon Valley. His days consist of bartending, lounging on his sailboat, and enjoying the company of the very many willing ladies as long as they know the score: he is looking for a good time only. Anyone looking for commitment or strings attached can look elsewhere. The blonde who rocked his world with a kiss then turned him down flat was both unexpected and an intriguing challenge- and he has never been one to back away from a challenge. When she turns up in his bar with her friend not too long after they first met, he is thankful that the gods have put her back in his path again even as he takes note of her unique combination of humor and flirtiness mixed with the shadows of pain and sadness.
Brooke is in no hurry to risk her heart again, and she is still questioning her own judgment after her last relationship disaster. When Riley offers her a little no strings attached fun to get back in the game, it doesn't take long to cave to his sexy smile and his magnetic personality. Their chemistry is off the charts and soon sparks are flying as they become friends with benefits that starts to turn into much more. Riley has been searching for peace and a path forward in his life, and he may have just found it when he least expects it, but Brooke's fear and lack of confidence may tank any chance of a relationship before it ever gets started so he has to pull out the big guns to show her that he is worth taking that leap of faith.
Riley was definitely a sexy swoony hunk who can bring the romance when the occasion calls for it. Brooke was a bit more difficult for me to cozy up to though as it seemed like she could make finding fault or reasons to run away from anything resembling feelings into an art form that would make any commitment-phobe proud. I get that she was hurt badly, but eventually I just wanted to reach into the pages and shake some sense into her. In any case, The Only One was a pretty enjoyable read. I am really looking forward to the next book in the series though! I'm Yours is going to be Mackenzie's story, and I have been waiting to see the town matchmaker who hides a broken heart find her HEA and if the preview chapter at the end of this book is any indication, it is going to be great!
I knew from the earlier encounters with Riley in the Sweetbriar Cove series that it was going to take a unique woman to bring this confirmed bachelor into a serious, loving relationship. I wasn’t expecting Brooke, just like Riley wasn’t either. They both have known the heartache of betrayal by someone they trusted and loved. Each has uprooted their lives in an effort to start again, make a new life in the hopes of leaving the old one far behind. But memories and emotions travel with us. I hurt for Riley and Brooke both individually and as a couple. Watching their journey was at times heartbreaking, full of laughter, melt-able steamy moments, confusion and self-protection all the while with a base of knowing that there is something special between them yet afraid to believe in that feeling. They were very real, believable and I could relate to them in so many ways. I believe that is the real test of a true storyteller – to have me completely react and believe that the people I’m reading about are as real as my best friend. That is when I’ll care enough to be captured by the characters journey, no matter how bumpy that path is.
I’m loving the friendships that are being created in Sweetbriar Cove, and we get to meet up with all of our new found friends and several known secondary characters once again. There is a small side story that broke my heart, and I’ll admit to feeling proud of a character’s decision for themselves. I’d actually love to know where she ends up one day, for she is a brave woman who made a difficult decision on what should have been one of the happiest days of her life. To see truth and act on it in spite of what’s going on around you takes courage and I would love to read her full story one day.
The Only One touched my heart, gave me laughter and tears while giving me the sense that anything is possible when you trust yourself. I’d recommend this story and the series to any Contemporary Romance reader who loves to fall into a world with lively characters, good solid stories and secondary characters who sometimes steal the show.
The Only One is by Melody Grace. This is the third book in the Sweetbriar Cove series. This series takes place in the Cape Cod region. Sweetbriar Cove is a small town which depends on tourism to flourish. It is known for its many festivals and the manner in which it celebrates every holiday. Brooke Delancey came to Sweetbriar Cove to run the prettiest hotel outside of Sweetbriar Cove. It is the Sandy Lane Hotel. She had taken this job mainly because of its distance from her previous work. She had fallen in love with a man who turned out to be married. She was devastated over his duplicity and over the fact that she caused a marriage to break up. She had no idea he was married. She just hoped she was far enough away. Her best friend has been setting her up with blind dates and like others, this one was turning out to be a flop. The only good thing about it was meeting the bartender when she decided to pay her bill and leave. Riley Ford was drawn to Brooke the first time he saw her. However, Riley was only out for fun, not settling down. He was in a lawsuit with his former partner in a computer business and he was having to give half of it to his partner who didn’t deserve it. The partner wanted the entire thing. The case was settled except for signing the papers and Riley wouldn’t sign them. It was the principal of the thing. He had come to Sweetbriar Cove and purchased the bar. He spent his free time on his sailboat and with a variety of women. He had made some good friend in town and liked his freedom. Being drawn to Brooke wasn’t in his plans. Brooke decides that being with Riley might be fun since he had no intention of settling down. It was a no strings friendship. For once in her life, Brooke was willing to try this type of relationship. She enjoyed being with Riley and was having fun. What happens when Riley turns serious?
This is the third visit to Sweetbrier Cove, I love this place, Melody Grace's picturesque descriptive powers make me want to pack my suitcase and head there for a holiday. Brook Delancey had left everything behind, her job, her family and her ex boyfriend, the only thing that she couldn't leave behind was her broken heart. Brook was starting over, she had been lucky to secure the job as manager at the cutest little hotel in beautiful Sweetbrier Cove, the hotel overlooked the ocean and although it was busy, Brook could see plenty of potential, the site of the hotel made it ideal for weddings, she could offer a full package, catering, flowers etc, etc, the small town had a delicious cake shop and a beautiful florists so it would bring custom to her friends in Sweetbrier Cove. Brook didn't need a man in her life but when she looked into the laughing blue eyes of the man behind the bar she had feelings that had laid dormant for a year, she knew that Riley was the town player, both the local girls and the visiting holiday makes fell for his charm, they practically drooled at his wicked smile but it didn't stop Brook from ending up in an alley, sharing a scorching kiss.........this was a mistake, it couldn't happen again. Brook and Riley agreed to be friends, that was the safest, underneath both wanted more but were afraid to share their feelings. Could Brook ever trust another man, could she risk her heart being broken for the second time. could Riley ever convince Brook that his playboy days were over and that she was the one that he wanted, did Brook still have lingering feelings for her ex ? This story, with it's wonderful characters, follows Brook and Riley as they climb the hurdles to reach their HEA. A lovely, gentle romance with just the right amount of angst. I received a free copy of this book and my review is voluntary
The Happily Ever After Hotel by Melody Grace is book three of the Sweetbriar Cove series and follows Brooke, who is new to town, and Riley, our well known and well loved bartender. Brooke is planning on a fresh start at Sweetbriar Cover and is not looking for love or a relationship. Riley is mister single, and is always looking for a good time and does not want to settle down. However, when the two of them meet it is instant chemistry! They both feel it, and try to ignore it. Brooke finally let’s go and decides to have “fun” with Riley, but somewhere along the way Riley discovers he wants more than just fun with Brooke, he wants a future with her.
This is my second Sweetbriar Cove story (I need to go back and read the second one!) and I loved this one way more than the first. There are cameos of the characters from the prior books, which is always incredibly fun to see. The chemistry between Brooke and Riley is off the pages, and when they finally come together it is HOT!
Both Brooke and Riley are recovering from past relationships where they were betrayed and trust had been broken, so neither one is willing or even open to the idea of opening up to the other. Similar to book 1, there is a 3rd act break-up, which I typically am not a fan of but it is needed in this story as it allows each character to grow and come to the realization that what they had together is what they both want. I love the way Brooke put it, you’re never really going to be one hundred percent ready for anything and if you keep waiting that’s all you’ll ever do is wait.
Overall, this was a fun fast-paced romance. If you love friends to lovers, small town, he falls first (and harder), and cozy spice then I definitely recommend not only this book but the series as well.
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice: 🌶️
Thank you to the author for the eARC! All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Book 3 in The Sweetbriar Cove Series and its was great to be back on Cape Cod catching up with friends because for me that's what this series is all about, don't get me wrong each book can be read as a standalone but I'm sure once you read one you will want to read the others. Brooke Delancey is looking to start over after finding out the love of her life was married, she ditched him and got herself a new job as far away from California as possible and that just happened to be a job running the local hotel in Sweetbriar Cove. Riley Ford a gorgeous bar owner meets Brooke one night in his bar and as soon as their eyes met sparks fly, could Riley be what Brooke needs because he knows a thing or two about starting over...... What starts out as a friends with benefits turns into so much more when they both realise they are starting to fall for each other and maybe that's what they both need to put the past well and truly behind them. This book is a sweet read with it's fair share of passion and once you add humour into the mix you get the perfect Summer beach read or maybe the cozy night around the fire read depending on what part of the world you live in. Melody Grace has once again given us a great read that makes you feel all fuzzy inside, I read this book in one sitting and loved it.
Oh my god! I was so anxious for Riley's book but so anxious that I can not explain what I felt when i realize that everything was so much better than I expected. He since book 1 has always been so handsome and funny that he deserved a girl the height of his great soul and Brooke came tearing hearts and revolutionizing this guy . I love when in the book is the girl who avoids commitment and not the guy. Brooke is embarrassed and guilty about what happened in her last relationship and decided to drop everything in Chicago and seek refuge in the quiet town of Cape Cod. Without imagining that she would find the devious and full of confidence bartender Riley ahead of her and that sparks flew through the air with this devastating encounter. But Riley little by little begins to cling and does not realize that Brooke is still fragile, confused and sad about everything and the last thing she wants is any commitment other than work. He even tries to keep everything in the friendship but love grows inside him and he wants more and does not want to go slow. Another Melody Grace’s light and refreshing story with the participation of the characters from the previous book and new ones bringing dynamics to the plot and already advancing a little of what lies ahead.
The Only One by author, Melody Grace was an amazing read. This was the first book I have read by Melody and it is one of my favorite reads of 2017. The story is one of trying to move on after heartbreak. Most of us can relate to some kind of heartbreak. The story was so well written and so relatable and believable. I loved the setting of the story which was in Cape Cod. The two main characters were Riley, a real charmer and Brooke, a young woman who is running from heartbreak and finds herself landing in the town of Sweetbriar Cove and managing a boutique hotel. Riley and Brooke meet and there is instantaneous attraction. They both tell each other they aren't looking for something serious but we know things can change. Are they both willing to admit their true feelings or will they continue to run? I found myself rooting them on and hoping they would take a chance on each other. I was pleasantly surprised with the story and I'm looking forward to the next book in this series. There is some sex in this book but it is written in very good taste. I loved this book and would definitely recommend it. This is a must read 5 star book. I know you will enjoy it as much as I did. - By Julie
Book Review The Happily Ever After Hotel A Novel Written By Melody Grace Fiction - Romance Published July 2026 298 Pages ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is the third book in the author’s Sweetbriar Cove Series. I am loving this series. The covers are the cutest. The romances are so sweet. Sweetbriar Cove is a small beach town on Cape Cod.
This is Brooke and Riley’s love story. Both have relocated separately to Sweetbriar Cove to start a new life. Both have been betrayed by someone close to them and now have trust issues.
Riley is a bartender at a bar he owns in Sweetbriar Cove. He is charming, arrogant, and a player, and he knows it.
Brooke is the manager at The Shady Lane Hotel. She is preoccupied planning weddings at the hotel.
When the two meet there is instant chemistry. Brooke was left heartbroken, humiliated, and feeling guilt from her last relationship which caused her to relocate to Cape Cod from Chicago. She isn’t ready to trust another man. Brooke and Riley become friends which leads to something more.
I liked the two main characters. I enjoyed the times Riley’s playboy lifestyle came back to haunt him when he ran into one of his conquests while with Brooke.
“Even as he lay there, Riley knew somehow. He could never have enough of her.”
Attempting to catch up with Melody is like trying to climb up a slide in roller skates - when it comes to Sweetbriar Cove I am only like 4 books behind - so after almost a year here I am playing catch up !!
Brooke and Riley have that Melody Grace style moment and the instant attraction lends to some great tension and finally a release of sorts. These two think they are on the same page - the page that means no strings just fun. They do make a fun couple BUT we all know once someone sets those rules they never stick to them. Brooke has escaped a bad relationship and is now making a name for herself at this amazingly sweet hotel while Riley is licking his wounds between boat and pub. I really enjoyed both characters and of course love seeing those we already know AND wonder who will be next to have their MOMENT. I loved the whole planning of the big wedding for Brooke but I wonder if the whole runaway bride thing is setting us up for a spin off or something ?? I just felt we got a good deal into that storyline for it to never go anywhere else ?? Anyhow - I shall carry on with this series !!
