They get to know members of the movies entourage and soon suspect one of the actors might be playing more than the role of a killer. Immersed in determining why the movie set is plagued with accidents as well as dealing with their own personal problems, Chris and Charles are just as surprised as everyone else when a fisherman catches the one he wishes had gotten awaythe corpse of one of the movies stars.
Now Chris must face what could be the final minutes of his life when he learns that nothing is what it appears to be in the magical world of the movies.
His writing gets better with each book and story line. The only thing I dislike is there is a lot of explaining of where a certain character has come in from the past! If you start this series… start with the first book “Folly,” and read them in book order. If you don’t you won’t understand the main characters that are carried over from each book and where they are in the series! Each book contains a different story line but with the same characters.
Final Cut was a very good read. The eighth book in the Folly Beach series and Bill Noel still does an awesome job storytelling. This one was a little different, focusing on a film company coming to Folly to shoot a movie. The action and mystery was just what I'd hoped for and I enjoyed reading it very much. Can't wait to five into the next one.
The unending suspense and fun go on. Danger ever present but surrounded by fun characters prevail. Almost amazing is the imagination required to save the hero’s!
Once again the characters are alive on the page...entertain ing and engaging. I can only hope someone brings them to life in movie format. I think they would be as popular as the Jessie stone movies. Wondering who would be cast in the leading roles.. Very enjoyable read.
Hope the next installment proves to be as good though I can't imagine it won't be. I do wish the author will continue this series. I'll have to check the website now that I'm hooked on Folly.
Another great installment in the Folly Beach series
These stories keep getting better. I feel as if the characters are all old friends and I feel invested in their lives. Can't wait to see where they go next.
I love the folly beach mystery novels by bill Noel. Not only is there a mystery to be solved but the friendship of two friends who always discover the guilty is very humorous .
