In Volume III of The Guardian Trilogy, a Christian fantasy fiction series, Darcy and Elizabeth, with the rest of the SoulFire team, stand firmly together against Gregory as he positions himself, through intrigue and murder, to take ultimate power as the Antichrist.
Dark and light forces skirmish, battling each other in both the physical and spiritual planes as the final war for dominion inevitably approaches.
Robin Helm's time revolves around music as she plays and teaches. Her books reflect that love, as well as her fascination with the paranormal and science fiction.
Her latest publication is Lawfully Innocent: A US Marshal Lawkeepers story. Previously published works include The Guardian Trilogy (Darcy is Elizabeth's guardian angel) and the Yours by Design series (Fitzwilliam Darcy switches places in time with his descendant, Will Darcy), Understanding Elizabeth (Darcy must decide how much he's willing to pay to have what he wants), and More To Love (Darcy comments on Elizabeth's weight at the Assembly).
Mrs. Helm is also featured in a series of anthologies with several other like-minded authors. A Very Austen Christmas and A Very Austen Valentine have been Best Sellers on Amazon in several categories. A Very Austen Romance is being planned for February, 2020.
She lives in (usually) sunny South Carolina and enjoys playing the piano, reading, and traveling.

It was only in the last 10% of the book that the story picked up pace; and unfortunately one had to trudge through the preceding part which detailed the minutiae of Xander’s and Elizabeth’s “You love me but I love you more” relationship. I imagined throwing my iPhone against the wall many many times, but chile pulease.... no book is worth that.
Again I will state that this series has no connection to P&P other than the names of the characters. I read for romance and escapism and these books do not really fit that bill. Although I admire Ms. Helm's knowledge of the Bible and her imaginative story line of an intermix of angels and humans, the mark of the Beast, last times, etc., I had to put this third book down and walk away because it was too tense. The angst was not between the two main characters, Darcy and Elizabeth, but for me worrying about where this was leading. I have read the Twilight Series and see the comparisons other reviewers have made...perfect beautiful characters with amazing powers, etc. I am humbled by Ms. Helm's obvious Biblical knowledge. She uses scripture perfectly every time. I am sure that there will be another series to pick up where this leaves off. And I will especially recommend this book to others, especially as it does set an example of how we Christians should be praying always and putting all our cares on GOD. Did find sweet Unca Mike and Unca Gabe becoming just a tad human when touched by John David.
Robin Helm delivers another amazing look at the spiritual world in Legacy the conclusion to her Guardian trilogy. With what could possibly be the end times, Darcy and El prepare for a mighty battle!
Legacy picks right back up where SoulFire left off. Darcy and El work out there differences and continue touring with the SoulFire ministry. With many signs pointing to the tribulation, they work harder at saving as many souls as possible and to expose Gregory's plans for the evil that they are.
Gregory (Wickham) begins his political climb, altering his appearance and falsifying his records to appear older. As his rise to power grows, so does his ego and his need to rid himself of El, so she cannot fulfill her legacy. I have to tell you, I felt sick as Gregory advances in power. The way he controlled and manipulated people was frightening and the multitude was lulled into a false sense of security.
The banter between the guardians still amused me. I believe Michael is my favorite guardian! His strong warrior facade melts the first time John David, El and Darcy’s son, reaches out to him. So sweet!
Helm also wraps up some of the story line with Caroline and Richard from Guardian. Richard confronts Caroline at El and Darcy’s wedding of all places! Will they ruin El’s special moment?
The scripture at the break points is really well placed and coincide nicely with the storyline. Her knowledge of scripture is impressive! I absolutely love that Helm put the names of God and their meanings at the back of the book!
Amazing is how I would describe this series. This is more than just a Pride and Prejudice variation, it’s an incredible look at the spiritual realm! It is well worth the read. I think Legacy might be my favorite of the three.
Disclaimer: I was provided a copy of book for review.
(Note: Potential readers should be made aware that this is the third book in The Guardian Trilogy, and that it is necessary to read book 1 and 2 prior to reading this one.)
What will Elizabeth do? The man she loves is an angel! He is her guardian angel! She has been deceived. Her trust is broken. What will she do?
What will Darcy do? Nothing went as planned! The woman he loves may never forgive him. His heart is breaking! What will he do?
What will Gregory Wickham do? His plans to seduce and ruin Elizabeth backfired. His mission is incomplete and he must now develop a new strategy. What will he do?
As you can see, the third installment in Robin Helm's uplifting and inspirational series opens with an abundance of unanswered questions and possibilities! In this novel, readers witness another chapter in the continuous battle between Good and evil as Darcy and Elizabeth try to parry Satan's attacks and bring as many souls as they can to salvation. And with signs of the Antichrist and the End of days soon approaching, their time might be running out!
This series truly is magnificent! Witnessing Elizabeth's and Darcy's adoration of, reliance on, and willing service for our Lord is utterly inspiring. Their prayers, their praises, and their songs instill strong feelings of gratitude, faith, and peace in me. This series inspires me to have better faith, work on my relationship with God, and be a better Christian. Talk about powerful literature!

I have owned this trilogy for over a year and didn't think I would like them so I passed them over time and time again. I just finished her 2 book series Accidentally Yours for the second time and decided to read the trilogy. I read all 3 in just a few days. I couldn't put them down. I so enjoyed the storyline and the use of the scriptures. This book is definitely on my list to read again and again!! I am looking forward to more of her Christian based books! Don't pass this trilogy up!
I just happened to run across this trilogy when I was at one of my lowest points in life. This trilogy reawakened my spirit! Thank you it was a honor to read these books!
Wow, this Trilogy was quite a ride! It definitely needs a 5 star rating for all the time and effort this author put into it. It is very obvious that she did a tremendous amount of research, both Biblical and historical to come up with all the details she used, and I have no idea how she was able to keep all the names of the characters, the guardians and the warriors straight. Also, her imagination is truly amazing - the story comes alive with her writing skills. Her use of Scripture is motivating and inspiring, and she made excellent use of it to illustrate her story chapter by chapter.
Psalm 16:8 I have set the Lord continually before me; because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
Thanks Robin M. Helm for a great read, and I will definitely be looking for more stories by you.
At the end of SoulFire, readers are left on the edge of their seats dying to know what will happen between Darcy and Elizabeth. In Legacy, readers are immediately submersed into the action, as Darcy and Elizabeth must overcome hurdles threatening their relationship. In the third novel of The Guardian Trilogy, we join Darcy, Elizabeth and the rest of the SoulFire team as they band together to stop Gregory Wickham from forcing God’s hand in bringing about the end times. Upon entering the political arena, with the aspiration of becoming the next President of America and world leader, Gregory appears prouder, cockier, and more conceited than before. Will this help him achieve his goal or will it lead to his downfall?
Contrasting Gregory’s malignant ways are Darcy and Elizabeth’s relationship with God as well as each other. Here, Robin Helm paints a picture for readers of not only how one’s relationship should be with God, but also how a relationship as a couple could, and should, be. Darcy and Elizabeth continually seek God in all things, enabling them to leave behind an amazing legacy. I found these scenes to be motivating for me in my own marriage. I was left asking myself, how often do I really seek God’s help in becoming a better wife?
There are several facets of Helm’s writing that I am fond of. I mentioned in my review of SoulFire that the banter between the angels, Michael, Gabriel, and Niall, is amusing and so well placed that it helps give a bit of comic relief to the serious topic addressed in these novels. Helm also reinforces the story she developed with scripture, giving it a greater depth and better understanding of the promises given to us by God. After completing the trilogy, it is clear the plot was meticulously planned. Events and circumstances from Guardian and SoulFire are brought back to the reader’s mind, clarifying why certain incidents took place and how the Lord is able to use them, even characters’ mistakes, for His good.
While I found Legacy entertaining and uplifting, there were times when I felt the author’s exposition went into too much description. At one point, I found myself skimming over the task of bringing home groceries and a list of what furniture was purchased for particular rooms. There is so much more going on in the story; I just wanted to get to the action. Once I finally reached the apex, I found myself not ready for the tension, or the story, to end. Considering how long it took to get there, the denouement was a bit rushed.
I utterly enjoyed The Guardian Trilogy! I found the entire series to be inspirational, uplifting, moving, thought provoking, challenging, and last but not least, romantic! I will definitely be recommending this series to Pride and Prejudice fans along with those who enjoy Christian fiction.
This is a great series that features an ongoing battle between good and evil. The characters are intense and show how strategic the enemy is in trying to get an upper hand and deceive people. Many of the evils we see today are shown in some the illustrations in these pages. I love Xander and his fellow Angels and their interactions. Elizabeth becomes a strong force in this installment. She makes a choice to forever keep her and Xander a family. I love this series and put in my Top 10 of reads.. I will definitely read anything else written by this author..
