Hello! No formal biography in the third-person here. It’s just me, Dan, lover of books, science fiction, peanut butter, and animals – especially dogs. Moose, the cute one in the picture, prefers to take the easy way out when it comes to hiking. He’s just one of the many pets we have. Seriously, you name it, and we’ve probably got it – or at least had it at one time or another. Except snakes, which totally freak me out. Show me a snake; I run. End of story.

Thanks for stopping by. If you enjoy one of my books, please feel free to share! Have a great day … Dan

I never expected a story starting with She died on her fourteenth birthday to end with me smiling while in tears.

After she died, Kaili got a chance to revisit some of her best life memories. Many of these included her best friend, Logan, because he had been such an important person in her life. And continued to be until the very end. Since her life was so short, it was nice to see she’d had many happy times.

Logan had a special knock he used when he saw Kaili. What did it mean?

While it was heartbreaking to know Kaili died at such a young age, this story made me hope that I get the opportunity to go over some of the best times of my life after I pass. Who knows, maybe I will.

This is a good short story that you really should read. It’s one that will keep you thinking about it long after you have read it. I sure have.

Wow.

Definitely a tear-jerker, but also sweet, happy, and I loved it! I wish it hadn't ended where it did, but it was a good ending anyway. I'd like to read more by this author.
