Just as good as the others
I love Alyssa Rose Ivy's books and this is another that didn't disappoint me. She has such a great imagination and creativity in her writing style. You need to start this whole series everyone and see what I mean...

Taken is the final installment in The Pteron Chronicles and brings Hailey's story to a conclusion, though things are far from over for her and her friends...and this is probably one of the first times ever that Alyssa Rose Ivy has ended things with a few cliffhangers. My mind is still boggling and wondering if I missed something, but clearly I haven't and I am just left wanting more...which is nothing new when it comes to Alyssa's books!
Things were insane when we last left Hailey and Wyatt. The Crescent City Hotel had been destroyed. There's no telling what happened to everyone inside; the guests, the employees, the entire Society base that was located in the basement. Hailey is worried over her best friend Allie being missing, along with Levi too of course. And pretty much everyone else she knows who could've been inside.
Hailey and Wyatt decide to split up with their friends, while Hailey tries to find a key to the magical book she acquired. They need to find out what sort of spells or information would be inside the book that could help them with the mystery of the emerald dragon. Meanwhile, Wyatt is off to find Violet to see what she may know.
I'll admit, I was struggling a bit to keep up with what was happening along with what had happened. Isn't that how it always is? Lol. I was enjoying the story that was being told in front of me of course, but there have been a lot of characters in this world series and a lot of characters in this trilogy alone! So it was hard trying to keep straight who I've previously met from other books and who was new to The Pteron Chornicles. This is the trouble with being a reader! LOL!
There's a lot that Hailey and Wyatt both must do and very little time to do it since their enemy is gearing up to make her attack. One that will involve Hailey's family and everyone that she holds dear to her.
Despite my faulty memory issues, I did really enjoy this one! A superior memory would've come in handy, but the story was still amazing despite that! I enjoyed the fast paced plot, the insatiable humor that was had whenever Cade was around, and of course the spine-tingling romance that you know comes from an Alyssa Rose Ivy read! While Hailey and Wyatt are separated for most of the book, you pretty much know that means whenever they are together things will be intense!!
The ending was positively wonderful! I enjoyed it because it was a Hailey and Wyatt time moment. One that left you with all the feels and flutters! And just wowzers!! There's also a bit of a cliffhanger going on as there are still things that must be done. Hence my worry for the next book! I need the new series to start asap, but alas 2019 is so far away! I'm excited for what characters will be the new stars and I feel like we might be seeing hints of other couples along the way in this one too! That's always one of the best parts of Alyssa's books! You see other guys and gals interacting...and it makes you wonder, is there something happening there? Only time will tell, I suppose!
Taken was an explosive and amazingly satisfying read! I pretty much loved it from start to finish because Hailey was always one of my favorite characters! I love her boldness and attitude! I'm so happy that she has found her happy ending! I'm looking forward to Alyssa's next Chronicles trilogy, because you can pretty much expect it to be completely amazing and awesome! I've said it a dozen times already, but Alyssa Rose Ivy is pretty much my go-to Paranormal NA author and I cannot recommend her books enough!

Wow I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I really loved Hailey and Wyatt together and think they suit each other amazingly well. I loved that Wyatt is trying to curb his natural protective instincts with Hailey as he respects her strength and knows that she’s capable of protecting herself and others when needed. Man, this book was a bit confusing at times with so many different paranormal creatures/characters that were introduced/re-introduced as they were featured in previous the Chronicle World books. I loved Hailey and Cade’s brother/sister relationship and they argue nearly as much as her and Owen. I still have so many unanswered questions after finishing this book like who has Georgina found in the Realm of the Dead, will Xander help bring her back, where are Levi, Allie and the others from the Society and maybe Jared cast a veil and transported them to another time like him and his mum did in the conclusion of his and Vera’s books as Jared has no doubt gotten a lot stronger and with the aid of origin crystals who knows what he’s capable of and I wonder if Hunter and Anastasia will end up together as there seems to be some sort of connection there as Hunter refused to leave the maze that Verona put them in without Anastasia, or it could be just because he’s a decent person who has morals. I’m looking forward to hopefully getting some of them answered in the Triton Chronicles. I’d definitely recommend this book, series and author to everyone.

I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to read Haley's journey in the Pteron Chronicles. You must read each of Ivy's novels in this series in order not to miss one single moment of her detailed story line. With Taken, Ivy picks right back up with Haley and Wyatt as they assess what is next to come after the devastating destruction of the Crescent Hotel, the Society's headquarters. Facing the challenges, Wyatt is determined throughout to stay together. His possessiveness and determination despite all odds kept me coming back for more page after page.
Taken is another great addition to Ivy's shifter series. Her strength of imagination, story telling and character development never ceases to amaze me each and every time. Having been a long time fan (going on 5 years or so), I can say without a doubt that one clicking any of her books is worth your time if you love a great paranormal withe endless opportunity for spin off series. Taken was absolutely no different. I am excited to see what is next to come for these characters and Ivy.

Taken is the final book of The Pteron Chronicles. I really loved the final book. But I was also gutted too, there were a lot of loose ends still not answered, mainly one big answer I was hoping we would find out. I just felt this book was a little rushed after the build up of the story over the series. I hope eventually we will get these answers in The Triton Chronicles.

We go straight from where it ended in Tempt, with The Crescent City Hotel having just burnt down to ashes. I gotta say this heartbroke me, everything from the first book Flight had built up from there. Reading that bit, it was emotional imagining it burning down the memories. The other biggest mystery that I’m begging to know is where the hell has everyone disappeared too. The gang limits are tested when they find the real answer to the meaning of the Emerald Flame. With the guilt getting to Wyatt over what he has done, the last thing he wants to do is to split up with Hailey and the gang, but it might be the only way to get the answers they need.

Another amazing book by Alyssa Rose Ivy! She has done it again! I love all the Pterons and their men/ women. It is great how she can keep the books going and create just as amazing spin offs.
Hailey and Wyatt are great together. I love who they are together as they only make the other stronger. They both have pasts that like to pop up and put a wrench in things, but they always move past everything through their love for one another.
That ending... OMG I want the next book in the series like now. Honestly I needed it yesterday! Ha! Look forward to reading more amazing books by the talented Alyssa Rose Ivy! Go grab your copy now!

The great adventure continues....
So far I have loved this whole journey. I have read every book and this one in just as good as the others. I feel like I have watched Hailey grow in a lot of ways and now she is coming into her own in a major way. She is amazing! Wyatt, what can I say about Wyatt? He’s HOT, in more ways than one! I love all the twists and turns, not to mention all the new characters that come into play. I can’t wait for the next ride.

Hailey has always been one of my favorites, but she is really coming into her own in this series. I'm loving the way her and Wyatt are coming together and seeing all the other characters in this world, especially Georgina. She is life goals! Thank you for the continuation. Can't wait for the next one!

I love everyone of Alyssa's books. I have read all the pterons books and loved Haileys characters. She is a strong independent women. I am so thrilled that she has gotten her own set of books! This is book number 3. And it was just as good as the 1st! You get deeper and deeper into Hailey and wyatt's story!

Wyatt doesn't appreciate others doubting his feelings, “of course she is. She means everything to me. Don’t question that.” I wanted to freak out as much as he did, but I couldn’t afford to." The man really doesn't like to be apart from Hailey, “we stay together from now on.” I held Hailey in my arms as we lay by the fire in my cave. “I know we’re far from finished. There is so much that we need to do, but I don’t care what anyone says. We are doing it together.” I liked this book, and I can't wait to see what's next in the series
