The Landry Family Series is a feel-good, heart-warming series featuring strong alpha males and smart, capable heroines. Sweet and steamy, the Landry family enjoys favorite tropes such as second-chance romance, surprise babies, office lovers, sports and military romances and more.
Fall madly in love with this relatable, unforgettable family by USA Today Bestselling author Adriana Locke. This set includes three full novels—Sway, Swing, and Switch.
SWAY
BARRETT LANDRY has it all.
Power, prestige, and plenty of women, the dapper politician’s life is pretty phenomenal. But in the midst of the biggest campaign of his life, he needs to focus. The last thing he can afford is a distraction.
ALISON BAKER is a work-in-progress.
As a single mother to HUXLEY, she’s rebuilding life on her terms. She’s focused on family, faith, and a future for her son that can’t be taken away. Putting her child first means not being careless, no matter what.
A chance encounter forces Barrett and Alison to redefine what they really want out of life. But everything comes at a cost ... and sometimes, even for love, it’s a price too steep to pay.
SWING
Screw him and his perfect stats. Sinful smirk. Delicious body. Lincoln Landry probably even has game-winning stamina.
I’d like to screw her and her perfect ass. Dangerous curves. Sweet smile. Ryan Danielle Ashley probably even has a game-changing personality.
There’s no denying the chemistry between them. It’s so fiery, it’s undeniable. They partake in it. Enjoy it. They really enjoy it. Attraction is not a problem. Nor is their banter, relationship status, or habits. That’s all fine. Perfect, actually. The problem is as tangled up as their sheets.
SWITCH
Mallory Sims is late for her first day of work.
After spilling her tea, she discovers she has no gas in her car. Add that her arm keeps sticking to her dress from syrup left on the console of her car, flustered feels like an understatement.
Then she sees her new boss.
Graham Landry is the epitome of NSFW in his custom-fit suit, black-rimmed glasses, and a look so stern her libido doesn’t stand a chance. Being flustered is just the start of her problems.
Her punctuality is only the start of his. With a pink slip in hand, he’s been waiting on his new secretary to show up only to let her go. Then she rushes in with her doe eyes and rambling excuses, smelling like bacon and lavender. The termination paper falls to the side as she falls in his arms.
This is a disaster in the making. Not because of his pinpoint exactness or her free spirit, but because when they’re together, the sparks that fly threaten to burn the whole place down.
Adriana Locke is a USA Today and Amazon Charts Bestselling author with a knack for writing swoony, unforgettable contemporary romances. At nineteen, she traded her small-town roots for big-city life, only to realize her heart beats for quiet mornings and cozy chaos. These days, she’s living her happily-ever-after in Ohio with Mr. Locke—her high school sweetheart—four lively sons, and two hilariously hyper Jack Russell terriers.
When she’s not penning love stories that will leave you laughing and sighing, Adriana is battling the epic quest of missing silverware, “gardening” (a.k.a. chatting with her plants), or leaving her grocery list on the counter as she heads to the store. Grab a cup of coffee, settle in, and let her books whisk you away to a world of heartwarming romance and irresistible heroes.
This was 3 books in one bundle all centered around the Landry family.
Book 1, Barrett/Allison. Mayor/Barrett's an arrogant ass in the beginning of the story. Allison isn't believable as she insists she doesn't want Barrett all the while having sex with him. Eye roll. The highlights were Allison's son Hux and Barrett's bro Lincoln.
Book 2, Lincoln/Dani. Really liked baseball star/Lincoln. Dani is like Allison, resistant, all the while she and Lincoln are burning up the sheets. Eye roll.
Book 3, Graham/Malory. Graham is the serious, business brother, kind of a dud. Didn't care for Malory, couldnt figure her out or this book. Totally confused near the end when the author repeats the exact same scene read earlier in the story with Graham's ex. It has a similar but different outcome and I'm left WTF'ing. Head scratcher. Needless to say, didn't care for this one.
There's another brother and 2 sisters left in this family saga. Think I've had enough.
Sway Sway is the first book In this compilation of Adriana Locke’s Landry Family series. It’s also the first time I’ve read this author. I can only hope the rest of the series lives up to her opening volley. The Landrys are a wealthy and prominent Georgia family made up of dad, mom, four male siblings and twin young women. Sway is the story of the eldest Landry sibling currently serving as the Mayor of Savannah Ga. running for the state’s Governor’s office. You can tell this is a book written by a woman primarily for women just by the author’s description of Bennet and our heroine single mom Alison Baker and pretty much all of the female population of Savannah’s reaction to him. He’s so handsome and charming that every woman wants him and their brains are scrambled and their knees weakened just by being in his presence. Bennett is a good guy but he’s aware of his effect on the weaker sex and takes full advantage of it having to seemingly slept with the more attractive half of Savannah’s single women. His previous sexual history comes back to haunt him in this story. Then he meets Alison Baker while she’s working as a server at one of his campaign fund raiser dinners. While the author doesn’t go to such lengths to describe Alison’s beauty its clear she is one. Much to Bennett’s surprise the attractive server seems immune to his looks and charms, shows no interest in him for his wealth and power. A woman who wants nothing to do with him or from him is a unicorn that intrigues him. What he doesn’t know is that Alison had been married to a former elected official who used her and then left her and their son Huxley abandoned and penniless. As an added bonus he also embroiled her in an embarrassing criminal investigation and publicly humiliated her. So the last thing Alison wants is a repeat of all of that. She’s intent on rebuilding her life and raising her son Huxley without being vulnerable by giving any man the power to pull everything out from under them again. She isn’t looking for a white knight to ride in and save her, she wants to save herself. The very last thing she wants is to get involved with another politician.. Like Bennett, women (and men) will love Alison. She’s strong, hard working, smart and determined to remain independent to a fault. And although she’s selective in whom she’ll become intimate with she’s not shy about asking for what she wants in bed. This is the story of how Bennett Landry learns to believe in himself, get his lost sense of priorities straight as he runs for governor and Alison learns to love fearlessly and trust that Bennett is not another version of her ex-husband. Along the way we briefly meet the rest of the Landrys who will be featured in the rest of the series. Swing There are some very obvious similarities between this book Swing the second book in the Landry Family series and Sway, the first book. Lincoln Landry the youngest male sibling of the Landry clan, like his brother Barrett the eldest is so devastatingly handsome women turn into puddles at his feet. Ryan Danielle Ashley (she prefers to be called Danielle because her father only named her Ryan because he wanted a son) the female lead like Alison before her is stunningly beautiful. Like his brother Barrett, Lincoln is at a crossroads in his career and must learn what is most important to him in both his career and his life. Danielle like Alison has some ghosts in her past that continue to haunt her and affect her relationships with men in general and professional athletes in general. Just as Alison did with Barrett, Danielle is constantly struggling to keep the reins on her feelings for Lincoln fearing falling too deeply for him will only lead her to heartbreak. And like Bennett and Alison before them both Lincoln and Danielle are very sexual human beings whose sexual chemistry burns up the pages or the pixels. Lincoln Landry is an All=Star centerfielder for the imaginary Tennessee Arrows. Towards the end of the last season, the last year in his current contract, he injures his shoulder on a throw. He’s struggling to rehab his shoulder in time to prove to Arrow’s ownership that he’s as good as he ever was. For the sake of the story he has a late November deadline to show he’s made enough progress in his rehab to justify another hefty contract from the team. I say for the sake of the story because baseball training camps don’t open until late February so not giving Lincoln a couple of extra months to rehab before determining his availability for the next season wouldn’t happen in the real world. From what we saw and heard from Lincoln in his brother’s book he’s a really good guy but his whole life is about baseball. Playing baseball is all Lincoln has wanted to do since he was a young boy. He even speaks in baseball analogies. And that’s a deal breaker for Danielle. Danielle Ashley is the daughter of a father who was a famous baseball player who had little use for her other than as a prop for photo-ops because she was born a girl. Her mother was and remains so focused on being what her father wanted and needed she had no room in her life for Danielle. Everything in her parent’s lives revolved around her father and baseball. Danielle wants nothing to do with professional athletes.. She wants to be the most important thing in a man’s life, not second fiddle to his career. She also doesn’t want to become her mother losing who she is to be what her husband wants her to be. After being pretty much ignored by her parents her entire life she longs to have a real family. Problem is handsome baseball players are Danielle’s kryptonite and Lincoln Landry with his insanely good looks and charm checks all of her boxes in the physical attraction department. Her panties practically go up in flames and her brains turn to mush whenever he looks at her. When she’s wearing panties that is. That’s something else Danielle has in common with Alison. On a few occasions she goes commando to delight and make it clear to Lincoln what’s on her agenda for the evening. I thought one of the more poignant moments in this story was when Lincoln enlists Huxley (Alison’s son) his soon to be nephew to help him show Danielle he’s more than a baseball player. Which the way he struggles to put together a dinner for them he’s obviously not. When Huxley asks Lincoln if he’s trying so hard to impress Danielle because he wants her to fall in love with him Lincoln balks at the suggestion. When Lincoln tells him he’s just a kid and doesn’t understand, Huxley replies he thinks he understands better than Lincoln does. It’s clear young Huxley who doesn’t even know about sex yet, knows more about matters of the heart than Lincoln a grown man does. And that to me is the greatest fantasy that is repeatedly portrayed in contemporary romance. You have two people who are being both emotionally and physically intimate while denying what they are feeling for each other is love. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out the issue that threatens Lincoln and Danielle’s happily ever after. I was curious has to how the author would have them overcome it. What I expected to happen to come between the couple did, but Locke managed to add a detail that surprised me. Switch I have to admit after reading the first two books in this series second eldest Landry sibling Graham was my least favorite. I feel badly for the guy that he’s wound so tightly he makes Bennett seem carefree and easy going. I appreciate that he’s a good brother and son. But the guy is so anal, is such a control freak that his personality annoys the heck out of me. Locke continues to allude to a previous relationship with the mysterious Vanessa that has Graham afraid to become seriously involved with another woman. If real life were like contemporary romance books, I’m not sure where we’d be? Is there anyone who hasn’t had their heart broken and watched their dreams of a happily forever go up in smoke destroyed by a relationship gone bad? If we all acted like contemporary romance protagonists, afraid to try again, most of us would die single and alone. Having been deceived by this Vanessa in his junior year of college, a decade plus later Graham is still afraid to risk his heart. Which I admit is sad but I find it also pathetic. I’m also not sure about how I feel about Mallory our female lead? Mallory is an exceptionally bright young woman who unlike most of her high school friends came from a working-class family who discouraged her from believing she could rise above the station in life she was born into. Then she falls in love with Eric and much like Alison in the first book she devotes her life to supporting him through college only to discover he feels she’s beneath him and they have no future as a couple. She wisely leaves Eric and returns to Savannah to start her life over again. All that makes me want to care about Mallory. My problem is after she starts working for Graham whom of course she finds ridiculously attractive, she has no issue with flirting with him with the least bit of encouragement. What happened to the “Me Too” movement and the idea that workplace relationships with superiors is inappropriate? Not that I’m blaming Mallory for instigating it (although she kind of does) but she certainly doesn’t do anything to discourage it either. As she says to her friend Joy, she wouldn’t be opposed to a fling with Graham if that’s all she can get. Really? How do you work for someone every day after you’ve slept with them and pretend nothing happened? For an intelligent, mature adult woman sleeping with your attractive boss just to scratch an itch seems like an incredibly stupid idea. Which Mallory figures out a little too late. On a separate note, I did like that the author revealed early in this story why Bennett is still dragging his feet on proposing to Alison even though he plans on taking her and her son Huxley along with him when he takes the Governor’s seat in Atlanta. I also liked the fact that Lincoln refused Graham’s advice to get a prenup before marrying Dani. Nothing says, “ I love you and trust the kind of person you are” like asking them to sign a prenup in case things don’t work out down the road. After working for Graham for a couple of weeks Mallory pretty much seduces Graham to fuck her on his desk. Mallory like Alison and Dani before her, once she decides she wants sex is no shy virgin. She is a lusty, bold and uninhibited lover. I have to admit the flirty and sexy banter between the two was entertaining. But just like Alison and Dani who told themselves, “its only sex with an extremely attractive man”, her heart gets involved along with her vagina. She begins to hope what she and Graham are doing is more than just fucking. When Graham clinging to the memories of his destruction at the hands of Vanessa tells Mallory he can never give Mallory what she wants and deserves, she tries to walk away from him. Which is when Graham with the help of Bennett and Lincoln gets a wake-up call and realizes Mallory is worth risking another broken heart for. But just as in the first two books even after the “I love yous” are exchanged the path to their happily ever after still has a few bumps in the road to get over because Graham isn’t done being an idiot. All in all I found this a very enjoyable series populated by impossibly handsome and virile good hearted men and the smart beautiful sexy women who turn their lives upside down for love.
Sway is the first book in the Landry Family Series and damn...what a start! I have read all of Adriana's books and they just keep getting better and better. She has a way of hooking you in until the very last page. You do not want to miss out of knowing this family. The bothers are swoon-worthy and the sisters are sweet with a twist of sassy and spice. Now, let's get to know the oldest brother, Barrett...
Barrett Landry is not only the Mayor of Savannah but he also the Most Eligible Bachelor. He was born to be a politician and that makes it very hard to settle down with a family especially now that he is running for Governor of Georgia. He needs to concentrate on his campaign and not on starting a relationship even though that might help gain some votes. To show that he is a committed man. He never thought at this time he could have both. But then he saw her. The minute he saw the blonde blue-eyed waitress, he knew he wanted her but what he didn't expect was for her to not want him. And damn did that make him even harder...he was intrigued and he truly knew he was fucked. But would she be worth it?
Alison was a single mom with two jobs and going to school. She didn't have the time or the want to be in a relationship especially to a politician. She has been there, done that and doesn't want to do it again. But, damn...Barrett isn't just any politician. He is sexy, smooth, intriguing, intoxicating, and seems genuine. He makes her weak in the knees but she needs to think about her son, Huxley. He deserves to have a happy and carefree childhood and not one splattered all over the papers. That is how it would be if she got involved with Barrett. Would the risk be worth the reward? Could she even trust him enough to keep her and her son protected?
Barrett and Alison are one amazing couple! Barrett had my vote from the start and Alison did too. She doesn't put up with his antics and call him on it. Together, they are sexy, sweet, funny, and supporting. It's not always easy, hell, most of the time it's hard. People are vultures in his world. Barrett wants to make a difference but is being pulled in all kinds of directions. Does he even want this anymore? He has to figure out what he really wants in life and not what everyone else wants from him. Can he have it all or will he have to choose?
Seriously!! The Landry brothers are fucking hot. I want them all. I am a total book whore and proud of it! I can not wait for Linc's story and I already have a leading lady in mind.
Overall...Sway is amazing start to a new series! It made me cringe, get hot and bothered, swoon, tear up, and laugh.
P.S I will never look at grapes the same way again. Ever.
🔹 SWING
Swing is the second book in the Landry Family series. Each book can be read as standalone since each one follows another amazing sibling in the family. The first book was Bennett's story and now it's time for Lincoln to step up to the plate at finding love. I was so excited for his story. I loved Lincoln in Sway so I knew there was a chance I would fall in love with him in Swing...
Lincoln's only passion is for the game of baseball. It's who he is. But when he threw that ball to home plate and heard his shoulder snap he was devastated. And now that his days were full of therapy sessions, staring at the wall, and driving himself crazy, he was bored out of his mind. He had six weeks to get his shoulder back into shape. And if it did heal, would he be going back to the team he loves, traded, or totally done? He hated the unknown. Baseball is his life. He didn't have much else. He had his family but they were in Savannah. He could find a woman to keep him warm for the night but he didn't want that either. He just wanted to play ball. That was until he saw her. A beautiful woman in a pink dress with raven hair that set him on fire. And when she all but rejected him...he wanted to know her even more.
Danielle Ashley knew exactly who Lincoln Landry was. She also knew he was her kryptonite. Hot, cocky, confident, charming, a baseball player and most likely has amazing stamina in the bedroom. She had to stay away from him. She could easily see herself falling for him. But, she doesn't want the kind of life he would give her. She saw first-hand what it could do to a woman and a child. She was that child. But, at the same time she couldn't walk away from him. She tried. He was just too much. Too sweet. Too sexy. Too much fun. She knew it couldn't last forever but she wanted him right now. What she didn't expect was for Lincoln to care so much about her. To listen to her worries. To want to know her dreams. To make her laugh. Could he convince her that not all baseball players were the same? That she should take the swing?
I loved this book! I wasn't sure if Linc could take Barrett's spot for top Landry but he did! He is passionate, sexy, funny as fuck, charming, sweet, and a family man. He made me laugh, swoon, and get hot all at the same time. So yummy! And then there is his girl, Dani. She is just as passionate about her work helping children. She is also independent, knows what she wants, sexy, and can also throw a mean fastball. Together, their banter and sexual innuendos are on point. Their chemistry is off the charts. But the rest of it makes them even more beautiful.
Overall...it's full of laughs, tears, baseball, heartbreak, and love. It was so much fun to see how the rest of the family is doing. I love when they are all together. It's so much fun!! It was also cool to see another couple from a different series sneak in there...
Quotes:
“Don’t take this the wrong way, Landry, but you’d be impossible to watch leave.” “You don’t like the view of my ass?” he teases. “Not as much as I like the view of your face.”
“Don’t act innocent. No one believes you.”
“Have some day games, maybe a double header or two. And I’ll slide in head first whenever you want me to, baby.”
***AND I have to throw in a Barrett quote:
Barrett reaches up and plucks a bunch of grapes off the tray before Vivian disappears into the kitchen again. “Look, Alison. Your favorite.”
🔹 SWITCH Switch is the third novel in the Landry Family series. Each one can be read as a standalone but I recommend reading all them because they are all amazing. The Landry brothers all have different personalities but are all swoon-worthy, sexy, southern gentlemen with a filthy twist. This is Graham's story. He is the businessman. The uptight, sharp, and sexy as sin CEO that needs a woman to swoop in and take the stick out of his ass. And Mallory just might be the woman for the job...
Mallory had no idea what she was walking or falling into took the job of Graham Landry's assistant. She just moved back into town and ran into Graham's sister, Camille. Mallory needed a new job and she loved business and had experience as an executive assistant so it was perfect. That is what she thought anyway until her first day was a hot mess. She was late. She was shocked stupid when she saw Graham in a suit. She knew him in high school but he was different now. He was sinfully handsome. Intense. And his presence made her melt. And when he got all CEO on her or in the conference room...she was down for. His intelligence and commanding presence turned her on. Damn. She wanted him. But first, she had to get him to loosen up. His tie was too tight. His desk was too neat. She understood he needed that control but she wanted to see him lose it. Preferably on her.
Graham was fucked and he knew it. He didn't do distractions. He never failed. He kept things in boxes. Never mix up those boxes. The minute Mallory showed up to his office, finally, he was a mess. He didn't know what to do with her. He couldn't concentrate with her only a few yards away from his office. He should have fired her. But he couldn't. She was too good. He wanted to know her. She was not only gorgeous but she was smart and had the biggest heart. She actually cares about his well-being and not just for the paycheck. Yep. He was fucked. He wasn't ready for someone like her. She was messy. She was making him laugh. She did yoga!
Graham and Mallory's friendship. Working relationship. And well...benefits is complicated. Yes. He is her boss but that's not the issue. The issue is that they were not ready for each other. She is finding her way and he was loving his. I love that this isn't just about a sexy love story. It's about self-discovery, family, and balance. I fell for Graham. Hard. And not just because I can just imagine him in those damn suits and glasses but because of his brain. It's sexy! And I fell for Mallory too. She doesn't take shit. She refuses to lose herself again. And she can tease Graham something fierce.
Overall...it's fun, sexy, and beautifully messy. I laughed so hard. The banter between not only Graham and Mallory is funny but the banter between the Landrys is priceless. This family isn't perfect but they are amazing and love and support each other. I am excited about Ford's story! Bring it on...
Quotes:
“I was visualizing,” I say, hoping we can now move on. “Visualizing what?” Getting ready to visualize you naked, but you ruined that.
“You’re safe,” I sigh. “I can’t throw you on the console of your car. I’m afraid your face would get stuck in syrup or something.”
I’m aware I’m an addict and I measure my drugs in Grahams.
I know I am late to the party, but I recently listened to Sway by Adriana Locke, the first book in her Landry Family series, and narrated by Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross. I absolutely loved it! Barrett Landry seems like the perfect man. He is powerful, sexy, charming and almost out of reach. Alison is a single mother working to give herself and her son Huxley a better life. She is focused on their future, their small family and work. Then a chance encounter with Barrett changes everything.
Barrett in on track to be governor, including all the struggles and stress that come with it. The responsibilities can be overwhelming. Alison is careful of her choices after being burned and humiliated. Letting Barrett in may be more than she bargained for. But their chemistry is combustible and undeniable. Can Alison trust Barrett to keep her heart safe and can Barrett let another person in with so much on his shoulders?
The audio of Sway by Adriana Locke was sweet, charming and touching romance. Kai and Wen truly bought to life Barrett and Alison to life for me and am so excited to listen to the rest of the stories in the series!
Swing review:
Of the books in The Landry Family series I have listened to-date, Swing is by far my favorite. I loved Lincoln in Sway, but in Swing, he blew me away. He was sweet and charming and so very caring. He is a baseball star and he knows it. One look at Danielle Ashley and he is smitten. She is smart, sexy and a game-changer. But she wants nothing to do with Lincoln. He is exactly the type of man she avoids at all cost.
And yet their attraction was immediate and intense. I loved their witty banter and interactions so much. Does Danielle take a chance on a man who could hurt her so much or give her everything she never knew she wanted? Lincoln knows Danielle is the one for him, but how does he show her? Baseball has been his life, but sometimes things change, right?
I absolutely loved listening to Swing by Adriana Locke. I devoured this audio and could not stop listening! Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross were absolutely amazing as Lincoln and Danielle. A must-read and/or listen too for sure!
Switch review:
Switch by Adriana Locke was a sweet and charming office romance with a bit of angst and a whole lot of chemistry. Mallory Sims is ready for a change and ready to put herself first. She is fun, sweet and lively. She may be late at times and not always the most organized, but she will fight for what she wants. Graham is the keeper of his family He is strong, determined and practical. He has a plan and Mallory was not part of it. But sometimes life takes a turn you were not expecting.
Once upon a time Graham gave his heart away only to have it broken. Never again. He will be the man he believes his family needs, while protecting his heart. Mallory just got out of a bad relationship, but something about Graham calls to her, but can he ever truly ever let her in? Such a fun and sexy audio with all the best feels! Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott continue to knock it out of the park and bring these stories to life!
Sway #1 *4 stars It was good, but sometimes Barrett made me want to smack him. He kept making promises to Alison that he couldn't or wouldn't keep, letting his own camp cause her pain and embarrassment. Sometimes, he seemed really naive to me, the way he blindly trusted people to do the right thing, when it seemed obvious that they were self serving, and had their own thoughts about the way things should be done. But I loved Alison's kid, Huxley! He was my favorite character in this story.
Swing #2 *3.5 stars Well, Danielle was a big freaking coward. Afraid to get close to Lincoln because her parents were not capable of loving anyone but themselves. She didn't want to risk her heart, so she broke his. What a stupid girl!
Switch #3 *4 stars Even though this book was about Graham and Mallory, I think Lincoln's vows were my favorite part of it! Probably of this entire collection of books.
Amazing Series & Narration🎧 The Landrys are Awesome!
The Landry Family Series, Part 1 Series: The Landry Family, Book 1-3 By: Adriana Locke Narrated by: Wen Ross, Kai Kennicott
Wow, this book is an awesome deal, it include three full length novels, they are all well written with interesting storylines that are captivating from start to end. Each book features a different Landry, the first three books of the series are of the brothers, each are their own person, driven in their career and 100% Alpha, we get to meet the sisters who are pretty amazing too. The first book “Sway” is Barrett Landry’s book, he is a career politician, currently a Mayor in Savannah but is aiming for the Governors seat. Alison is a single Mom looking to rebuild her life after a failed marriage. Alison was working for the caterer at a benefit when she caught Barrett’s eye, she wanted nothing to do with him but she intrigued him and he went on to pursue her. I loved those two together, also loved how accepting he was of her son Huxley and how he got his brother Lincoln, the professional ballplayer to hook them up with tickets and showing Huxley how to play. The second book is Lincoln’s book, I loved him in the first book and even more in his own. He is battling an injury trying to build up strength while healing, he does not want it end his career so he works it hard but is still faced with uncertainties, baseball is all he knows. He meets Danielle “Dani” while going to PT and he is intrigued by her, he tries to find ways to be near her but she finds ways to stay away. When these two finally got together, yes she fought it but when they did it was pure bliss. The third book is Graham’s book, he is the most serious and intense of them all, yes even more than Barrett. Graham is the CEO of Landry Holdings, he is great at what he does but he is an anal retentive control freak. His long time executive assistant left and he is having trouble filling the position, his sister recommends Mallory Sims, she has experience and will do a great job. Mallory is starting over she is coming out of a relationship and changing her life’s direction. She is happy to start a new job but her first day working for Graham does not go off without a hitch or two. She is on the quirky side and a little bit of a mess and best of all she throws Graham off balance. I just loved these two together, like oil and vinegar mix but give it a shake and it blends perfectly. Graham had a lot of issues, it was great to learn how he got to be the way he is. I also loved to hear his father explained how he had his hand in getting each of his kids to find their own strengths and focus on those careers. I loved each one of these books, they are enjoyable and entertaining with plenty of drama, great humor, a touch of angst and some hot romance. Adriana Locke, thank you for these wonderful books, the laughs and the emotional rollercoaster ride.
I listened to the Audible edition, Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott are talented narrators and voice artists. They do an amazing job portraying each character, bringing them to life with their own voice and personality. I loved how they humanized them and made them sound just as I pictured them to. They set the perfect tone for each story and captured the characters emotions which could be heard in their performance. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another awesome listen🎧
This is a great series! I absolutely LOVE this family and all their dynamics. They are fun and helpful (or aggravating) to each other. I did listen to this gem on audio. Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott are the narrators of all three of these. They addEd a extra element to the stories.
Sway-book 1
Loved this book! I think I was as stressed as Alison on whether she should date Barrett or not. I mean he seems as sexy as sin but there is that whole political thing he has going on. I really loved him! Granted he has a sordid past but is trying to make up for it now. Huxley is just adorable. How much he loves Linc over Barrett...haha! I think Barrett gets him on his side by the end though.
It was great meeting the whole clan! The relationship between these boys makes me wish to be a little sister. I can’t wait for Graham’s book. But next up in Linc’s. I listened to this on audio. Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott narrated and do amazing as always. I wasn’t a fan of the music intros though. It just seemed weird.
Swing-book 2
This is a nice story but not my fav. I think I was hoping for more of the baseball issue and how he was coping. But there was just a bit. I enjoyed Linc and his whole determination to win Danielle. I loved when he goes to Graham to get advice. Actually the whole family when they have get togethers. Very fun moments. It was great seeing Barrett, Huxley and Alison again. They added some fun to Linc’s story. Huxley was great!
Switch-Book 3
Office chemistry is one of my favorite reads. So I was excited to listen to this one. Graham is a bossy boss who struggles to shut it off during his downtime. Mallory is a old friend of the Landry family. She needs a job and Graham just happens to be in desperate need of an admin assistant. The fire between these two can be felt coming across my ears. I enjoyed watching Graham figuring out coming to terms with his feelings. Ford had a bigger role in here. I loved getting to see more sides of him. Family times are the best! There are more than a few in this story.
Audiobook review: 4 stars for narration 5 stars for storyline
Sway Book 1: I genuinely loved this book! Although I didn’t really enjoy listening to the way Wen narrated it, only due to the accent he used, it grated on my nerves! I love how audio books bring the characters to life Sway is about Barrett and Alison! There is turmoil, great banter, beautiful friendships and some suspense as well! I really enjoyed the storyline and the family bonds the Landry family have! Definitely something to be treasured!
Swing Book 2: Goodness me! The hotness factor of deep voices made this one awesome book! The southern accent doesn’t seem as pronounced or maybe its just me!! I don’t know lol. But I really cannot get enough! What can I say about Lincoln though, the voice, his flirtatious cheeky side but also he seems to have a big heart, among other things lol! Kai certainly brings Danielle to life well and I just loved that although she was hesitant, she couldn’t really resist Lincoln! This story had me on tenderhooks! I love that the male/ female characters is done with duet narration, makes it especially good to listen to! You kind of feel immersed into to the story!
Switch Book 3 This story is about the elusive and secretive Graham! Loved the narration and the way the story went from start to finish! Hearing him speak especially to Mallory made me giggle as well as snort laugh and the banter with his brothers was too funny as well! And the steamy scenes were OFF the charts HOT!! I loved Mallory and I thought the story was narrated really well! I really just want to be a part of the Landry family! So looking forward to more of this series! I think I would definitely enjoy being wrapped up in the Landry brothers! Lol
An incredibly addictive series about a family I can't get enough of!!
Sway What a start to this series!
I'm fairly new to Adriana Locke but now I've started the Landry Family series I know that this author is another "must buy" for me!! The Landry family is a rich, well-known family leaving in Savannah, Georgia... and this is a family that love one another but having had luck finding love for themselves. Sway is the story of Barrett and Alison ... Barrett is the mayor of Savannah and running to become the Governor of Georgia and Alison is a single-mum trying to make ends meet. A chance encounter and sparks fly between these two... a chemistry that Barrett refuses to ignore. This is a wonderful story full of love, laughs and an introduction to a family I am so excited to read more about!!
Swing Lovable Lincoln meets his match!!
Lincoln Landry manages to make me laugh in all of the Landry family series books and I absolutely loved his story. Meeting his match in Danielle... Lincoln learns that maybe there is more to life than his career of baseball. And Danielle has to learn that history won't always repeat itself. A wonderful story that has endeared me even further to the Landry family!! (And Adriana Locke!)
Switch Opposites attract!
Graham Landry is the caregiver of the Landry siblings and always looking out for them... so much so that he doesn't have any look out for him. Until Mallory crashes into his life and turns it upside down. Mallory is the messy to Graham's fastidious cleanliness ... the fun to his rigid routine... just the woman Graham has been waiting for. I loved this story and I love the Landry family :)
Allison is a single mom who has been burned by her ex who was power hungry and Barrett is the Mayor of Savannah who is running for governor. This is a sweet and funny story of overcoming fears. I loved the Landrey’s and can’t wait to read the rest of the books
This is the second book in the Landry family. Lincoln, a Major League Baseball player, is trying to rehab his shoulder when he meets Danielle, a child life specialist at the hospital. She doesn’t have any desire to be with a baseball player because of her past, but Lincoln is persistent. This is a very good and heartwarming story as two people try to come together and determine what matters the most. Definitely recommend this book and can’t wait to read Graham’s story.
This is the 3rd book in the Landry series and it was so great. Graham is the serious brother that looks out for everyone else and reins the family company. Mallory is a friend of this sisters and is hired to be his executive assistant. Sparks fly immediately but Graham doesn’t have time in his day for a relationship, nor does he want one. This is a great book as how two people can complement each other. You also get more of all of the Landry’s including a continuation of Barrett and Lincoln ‘s stories. I can’t wait to read Ford’s book.
The Landry family brings you six siblings. This series includes three of the brothers (Barrett, Lincoln and Garrett) with glimpses of the other three siblings. They’re all successful in their careers with nothing in their way. That is until each of them meets a woman who shows them what they’ve been missing.
Barrett meets a single mom who doesn’t quite fit the mold of his world. She’s working two jobs to support her and her son, while he’s making moves in the political world.
Lincoln is a professional baseball player recovering from an injury who walks off the elevator and meets a woman who wants nothing to do with his world.
Garrett is the glue that holds the Landry family together and is the CEO of Landry Holdings. He meets a woman who runs his office with ease. She’s both beauty and brains which challenges and intrigues him.
All three brothers fall hard and short at the same time. They have met women who enhance their greatest qualities but challenge their shortcomings. Adriana Locke introduces characters that show character development without compromising one’s true self.
Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott are an amazing dual narrator team. They have such a flow together. A sound that seems so natural, like they just fit together. I know that when I listen to them that I’m going to enjoy the narrators in the least. But with Adrianna Locke as the author, it’s another positive mark. I haven’t listened to a single book with her name on the cover that I didn’t love.
I can add more book to that list because the first 3 books in the Laundry series was a serious hit for me! It’s kind of interesting listening to them in a set like this because it feels like it’s one complete story but it’s actually three very different stories. Yet at the heart of it all, the Laundry crew is all about their family. I can’t wait to dive into the next audiobook… I’m really excited to learn more about Ford Laundry!
The first three books in the series were such great stories. I liked the different personalities of the brothers which weren't so different at all at the end. All of them stood to the same standards despite the difference in their chosen lifestyles. I liked the heroines too, they did justice to their Landry man. I loved the dynamics of the Landry family. The six siblings were always there for each other. I liked the writing style and the flow of the stories.
Kai Kannicott and Wen Ross are absolutely fabulous narrators. I love their duet narrations. I loved the different voices and accents they both used. This one was also great with the high technical quality I learned to expect from them.
This was Barrett, Linc, and Graham’s stories. I loved that the author gives you a great story without jumping straight into the doing it parts. I mean they are there and they are hot BUT they don’t take over the story. There is actual things happening. In all the stories someone has relationship hang ups. All the stories have the love at first sight and the men being family men, brothers, very wealthy and smart and hard workers. The girls have strong wills and want family and after a few hiccups the forever and happy ever after happens. The stories can be read alone but all tie in together. It was a great set
This is an amazing boxed set! All three books are beautifully written. Each book focus on one couple (Barrett/Alison, Lincoln/Danielle, Graham/Mallory), and the Series has characters intertwined. The family spirit in this Series is wonderful. Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott did an amazing job with the narration. I enjoyed it, and I highly recommend it. This is a really great value! Looking forward to listen to the next book in the Series, Swear, Ford's story! I love the Landry Family! #AudiobookObsession
The Landry Family Series Part 1...full of sweet tea, sass, and southern charm. Each book in in the series centers on one of the Landry siblings. Part 1 includes “Sway,” Barrett and Alison; “Swing,” Lincoln and Danielle; and “Switch,” Graham and Mallory.
I love how Adriana interweaves the characters from each story into the next one, but one doesn’t need to read the previous book to understand the plot of the one you’re reading. Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross bring the characters to life. Each couple is likable and relatable even if the heroes are banking. I looks forward to Part 2!
I wasn’t sure I would like this book as it is based around politics but I was so wrong. It was fresh. Loved all the characters that will hopefully carry on their story’s throughout the series
Swing
Oh how I love Linc...such a feel good storyline. Made me cry in places! Great emotion, written very well.
Switch
Great read/listen. This series is building very nicely. I really can’t wait for the next one, luckily I have it!!
I liked the Duet Narration of these audiobooks. Unfortunately, this series has been underwhelming for me, so far. The first book was 1.25 stars, the second was 3 stars and the third was 2 stars. I plan to read the rest but I will probably read them instead of listening on audiobook.
I typically enjoy this author's books, but the first three books in this series are full of character decisions that just do not make sense to me at all.
This family is one of my favorite in the book world. Every single one of these men and women had made me crying, blushing like crazy, enjoying each and every single sizzling, hot and sexy moment and most off all they plastered a smile on my face long after I had read the words THE END!
Love Barrett, Lincoln and Graham. I'm actually re-reading since Adriana made these into two box sets. These are incredible stories. The politician, the baseball player and the business man. Two Playboy's and one that's very guarded. Beautifully written stories. Definitely recommend Sway, Swing and Switch.
I Loved every story, the passion, the love, the heat, the Intensity, I even cried a little with Danielle n Rocky, I love Huxley. I Love every Landry man n wish i had one of those! I love that all the stories are out n I can read one after the other, i hate waiting in suspense lol. Thank u for this awsome book!! I look forward to more!
I have to save that I loved Barrett’s and Lincoln’s books and was totally looking forward to Grahame’s but I totally hated Mal. Besides her incessant giggling every move she made towards Grahame seemed calculated, most especially, her letter of intent. I think she set her sights on a Landry and that was that.
Soooo... I may or may not have fell in love on three separate occasions throughout this trio... each story has its ups and downs and it feels.. authentic. Not your stereotypical beginning/middle/end. I thoroughly enjoyed this series and can’t wait to start on Ford and Camilla’s stories!
Sway, Swing and Swatch are all equally great. They are emotionally heartwarming, charming and adorably sweet. I enjoyed going on this ride with Barrett, Alison, Lincoln, Danielle, Graham and Mallory. I listened to this on Audible. Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott did a fabulous job bringing these cute characters to life.
Exceptional stories. This is one of those series you will become ‘connected’ to and not want to end. I have the next set of books and am dreading the story end. Really well written, love the characters and story lines.
Purchased and re-read these books since Adriana made it available in box set . This series was my favorite and Barrett, Lincoln & Graham had the perfect southern charm. All the stories in the Landry family series can be re-read .
I can’t wait to meet the rest of the family!!! I love how the stories flow and how the previous main characters stories don’t end with their book. I really feel intertwined with their lives.
Oh my, it is impossible not to fall in love with the Landry boys. I had these books on my TBR list. I am so glad that I finally got to read them and don't even get me started on the grape scene...so hot!
