Twin Expectations

Rate this book
The Pregnancy Pact Identical twin sisters Bridget and Liz Van Zandt wanted families. Any no way would their vacant ring fingers thwart their girlhood pledge to have babies–hubbies or no hubbies–by age thirty. So when the birthday bell tolled, the baby hunt began! But their pact didn't play out exactly as expected…. After her presto pregnancy at a sperm bank, sophisticated Bridget began to yearn for the set-in-stone bachelor Nick Raines. And in her quest for mommyhood, bold beauty Liz landed in the arms–and bed–of her enemy, Eric Statler. Would these two rich-and-dreamy half brothers give the twins lovelies what they truly desired all along–a double wedding?

What a great story! The resolution to both twins' romantic hopes comes along with misunderstandings that are truly humourous and smart. Dealing with the human frailities of Bridget and Liz, Nick and Eric and the supporting characters so satisfactory is no small feat. I couldn't put it down until it was finished.

RTBookReviews rated this book a 1-Star but the reviewer must have been having a bad day or had a problem with two gals having children out of wedlock which eleven years later is no issue at all. Sure Bridget and Liz come off naive but if everyone knew what a problem it is to raise children at times, with or without a partner, no one would ever have 'em. They were both v.courageous, imho.
