Oh, Hot Damn! This is on sassy, steamy episode in the Sassy Ever After Kindle word (which is no longer a thing). It's fun to read a series that takes place within a specific world. For me, it is like the ultimate escape and sometimes I think about what these characters do in between books (Yes, I know I have a few screws loose, but I know there is at least one reader who is nodding her head). When you read an author who excels at character development that is so easy to do. Robbie continually creates characters that are unique and three-dimensional. When I read his books, I seriously expect his people to be sitting next to me. Another part of his books that I like is the length. I love fantasy which is often a million pages. But Robbie's books are the perfect length for an awesome brain vacation. You can read this book without having read the other two. I would recommend reading the others, just because they're good.

This is my second story by Robbie Cox and again I was hooked right from the start. I had difficulty putting it down once I started reading. It’s fast paced, easy to follow and gets you right in the middle of things. It has great humor, wit and plenty of that hot, sexy stuff for sure! Definitely one of those reading way past my bedtime books!
Lainie Everest fled her home fleeing the arranged marriage her parents had planned for her. Now in Bull Creek, she is a deputy on the small police force and has no time or need of a man, her friends and career are enough.
When a dead body appears, soon followed by a detective looking for a witness to a crime, things start heating up. Lainie isn't giving up the evidence to her murder investigation and she doesn't care who this detective thinks he is.
Rance Culpepper is a detective for the Pensicola D.A. looking for the only witness to a crime committed by a vicious gang. Rance isn't leaving town until he gets the evidence for his case.
Neither Lainie nor Rance plan to give in. That's were their inner animals get involved, they want each other and their human parts are fighting their attraction.
This story could have been longer because I enjoyed the interaction of the characters, but it still gets five stars.
I really enjoy these light HEA over the heavy stuff. Now, for the next installment from Ms Cox.

MATE’S TOUCH is the third book in the Destined Mates series. While each book will stand on its own, it is better to read them all and in the order of release.
Lainie Everest is one feisty and sure woman. She’s so sure, that she’s convinced herself that she’s not intended to have a mate. That was true, until Rance Culpepper showed up, because he was her true mate.
I loved this deeper look into the psyche of the animals that belong to the people of Bull Creek. I also loved that those animals, that in nature would never be seen together, worked together for the good of the community to cut off the head of a snake set to strike one of their own.
Mostly, I loved Rance. He works hard. He loves harder. He understands his Lainie right from the start and knows that he has to trust her to do her job well. That earns her respect – and mine.
I cannot wait to return to Bull Creek!

Another awesome book by Robbie Cox. This is the third book based in the Florida town of Bull Creek. A place where those who need to escape or get away go. A place where humans and shifters (and the occasional witch) leave together like family. When a new man in town ends up murdered it takes one sassy deputy from Bull Creek and a detective from Pensacola to solve the case and also make sure a few gang members end up in jail for a long time. Rance has lived in the big city so long that he really can't remember the last time he was truly free to let his wolf out. Now, he not only can do that but bam he runs into his mate. Laine does everything with sass and well that includes her interactions with her mate, which she does not want. She does not want to open up to someone who will be leaving when the case is solved. There is a HEA and the road there is filled with heat and sass.
This book hooked me. I did not put it down once I started it. Yup another one of those read way past my bedtime books!

Lainie is the only detective in the Bull Creek Sheriffs office, as well as the only shifter. Since Bull Creek is home to a hodgepodge of shifters and humans who all seem to be running from something, it's a shock when a stranger is murdered in their backyard. As Lainie and Sheriff Einstein's crew try to figure out what's happened in saunters Rance Culpepper and tries to take over Lainie's case. You see the murder victim is the key witness in a case Rance is working back in Pensacola and he is determined to close Lainie's case so he can get the victims cell phone and high tail it back to Pensacola before his wolf wins the fight in claiming Lainie and her panther as their mate. Both Lainie and Rance try very hard to deny the attraction their inner animals keep pulling them towards each other. So we have a murder, a violent street gang, and two highly attracted shifter detectives, with a host of family, friends and coworkers to make this case and book highly entertaining.

This one is great! Lainie left Draven Falls for Bull Creek with Damien to stop her prents from arranging her mating. She's found herself in her element as a Sheriff's deputy and loves every minute of her life. Rance is working on a mob case with the DA's office in Pensacola and is trying to get to their witness before anything happens to him. Ooops, too late. A murder in Bull Creek puts Rance in Bull Creek and right into Lainie's case. Lainie is a determined and capable officer and is furious with Rance for trying to take over her case. I loved the way that Lainie used her panther to accomplish things her human side never could. This is such an exciting series and everyone is helping. No prejudices due to humanity or different shifters. Just family and community all working together for a better life. Fantastic!
This story is hot! Rance and Lainie have an instant mutual attraction. It heats up to an intense level when Lainie suspects Rance wants to take over her job, in her town, when in fact, he is anxious to get his case resolved when all he wants to pay attention to is feeling the mating call!
I really enjoyed Lainie’s spunky, independent personality and her sassy nature. She is a confident and capable woman who can take care of herself!
I was pleased that Rance was a wise enough man to recognize Lainie’s confidence as an asset and a huge attraction instead of competition in the negative way. This story could have been longer because I enjoyed the interaction of the characters. It’s fast paced, easy to follow and gets you right in the middle of things. It has great humor, wit and plenty of that hot, sexy stuff for sure!

Both meet while working on the some mafia case.
Their animals want to be together but with obstacles will they overcome nuisances?
Rance never had relationship but now he change his mind and is very patient with Lainie.
Lainie would love to have man who will love and cherish her.
Now they have chance.
Little connection to first book. Lainie is Dimitri,Alpha in Bull Creek sister. Otherwise could be standalone.

Loving the Series, I want More!!
This is a beautiful addition to the story. I live how the characters keep building with each story and when we add new ones it gets even better. You can feel the two characters fighting the pull of the bond to each other and when they finally give in the sparks just fly.
The excitement and drama that come along with the story leave you on the seat of your pants with each page turn. Keeps you wondering what is going to happen and when it's going to happen. Gotta love a good strong and stubborn woman.

Lainie gets her story. She's a good Sheriff and left Draven Falls because of her parents. So she moved to Bull creek where her brother (Demitri) moved to. When she and her chief find a dead body and a human at that, they wondered why here. Lance (a wolf) was standing behind them and explained who the dead body was. He's a detective from Pensacola working a murder case, and the dead body was their key witness. Now they have to work together on the case and control their other halves who happen to be mates. Great story.

This was a fun read showcasing how tough it can be, despite the mating call, to accept the changes that a mate will bring to your life. Lainie thinks Rance is just gunning for her case, her evidence and her job when he really just wants to close his case down so he can see where their connection leads. I can tell you where it leads - banter, sizzling chemistry, challenge and yep, bad guys ;P It was a thoroughly entertaining read and I can't wait to dive into the next one!

Mate's Touch by Robbie Cox is the third book of Bull Creek series and it's another amazing read! The storyline was engaging and kept my interest as well as the drama, twists, mistakes and emotional turmoil created tension for the couple.
Rance and Laine are both strong characters and that made for a well balanced couple. The attraction between the couple simmered along nice as they engaged in a chemistry that was steamy and hot.

Lainie is a strong, independent panther who has herself convinced that she does not need or want a mate, that is until Rance walks onto her murder seen and complicates her life personally and professionally . Rance was not expecting to find his witness dead let alone his mate at the scene but his wolf knew as soon as he got there he had found her.. This book was a sexy fun read.. I am addicted to this series and the characters .. Cant wait for number four...

I love this series. If you love paranormal with twist and turns than this series is for you.
I'm loving the community of Bull Creek, FL and learning about these characters. The fact that I live about an hour away from this place is cool too.

This is a continuation of the Bull Creek community, but can also be read as a stand-alone. Rance and Lainie are both in law enforcement and are shifters as most of the people in Bull Creek are. Characters are well portrayed and interesting story. Good read!

This was a great story and was very entertaining. Once I started I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between the hero and heroine is sizzling hot. I would recommend this to anyone that loves a great love story.

Im a huge fan of shifter romance and this is another book I recommend. I lived the sexy alpha male shifter and the way the plot brought them together. I really enjoyed reading about their love story with a hea!

Such a good book!

We see Lainie Everest, local police officer and sister of Dimitri the Alpha of Bull Creek, meet Rance Culpepper a Detective for the Pensacola District Attorney’Office. She is investigating the murder of new resident of Bull Creek, he is in town investigating the disappearance of a key witness in an upcoming gang trial in Pensacola. She is a strong independent woman that does not want or need his help,she just wants him to mind his own business and let her do hers. Their attraction is instantaneous, and more so their shifter animal,(he a wolf she a golden panther), attraction is also awakened.
