I needed a really good book after a dnf and this one hit the spot. It's sweet and a very enjoyable one.
The story is about Mac and Wanda.
She went back home after her ex-boyfriend cheated on her and kicked her out of the apartment they once shared.
She has a big crush on their neighbor who's also his brother's rival. She didn't expect to see him thinking he's busy with his career playing soccer.
Everything happened so fast after she went back home. Mac is a good man and a sweet one. I liked them together.
It has a nice epilogue but I want more.

So every one knows I adora Penny Wylder books! This wasn't different.
My vacation started today and I hate flying so I started this one and it took my mind away from it. But it was so short that I finished before landing and that didn't go easy..
I loved this book it was damn steamy and very fun! The only minor thing was the ending it went so fast. But otherwise it was sooo good!!
Mac knows what he wants and isn't afraid to show it! Who doesn't love an Alpha?!

This was a good, quick, sweet and sexy story. I guess you could call it a second chance romance that happens between Wanda (Not my favourite name) and Mac. Their relationship literally starts the moment she gets out of her car and picks up quickly. I enjoyed this story for what it was, a quick and sweet read. If I think about it to hard I begin to pick it apart with some questions. I wanted to know more about Max, get his POV. Wanda was a virgin but we knew nothing of Mac's past other than he wasn't one. I wanted to know if he cared enough about her to tattoo her first initial on his neck why didn't he confess his feelings to her, a tattoo is a forever commitment. Why was he with other women if he felt so strongly about the h? This is just me nitpicking but I wish I had the answers.
Otherwise this was a pretty entertaining and enjoyable read with no safety issues.

When you're looking for a quick, steamy and sexy book - you know Penny Wylder is the author for you.
This story was once again a great read. These two made me smile for the first page right down to the THE END.
I love when people get a chance at love when it was "denied" first time around :)

I'll keep this short... the title is actually super misleading.
Wanda doesn't even get pregnant until the epilogue, so this book is more about Mac and Wanda's brothers being enemies than Wanda 'accidentally' getting knocked up.
Still a good and quick read, though.

Mac and Wanda's story was short, sweet and steamy. I enjoyed reading it, even if it was kinda fast-passed., it was easy to read.

This was a great quick read which I enjoyed a lot.
Wanda is returning home to live with her big brother after splitting up with her boyfriend and her business failing, she needs somewhere to lick her wounds. Arriving home she sees Mac the only man she has ever really wanted but has always stayed away from because of her brothers rivalry with him. Thinking that he would be away with his team she is shocked to see him and realises that he feeling for him have never changed for him. Mac has always wanted Wanda but understood that her loyalty her brother would keep them apart. After seeing her again after all these years he still wants her and makes his feelings known, he wants her to be his and this time he means to make it happen. Neither of them can deny the chemistry or their feelings for one another.
Can Mac and Wanda have the happy ending they both deserve or will she let her love and loyalty to her brother keep them apart?

I really enjoyed this book. I would go as far as to say that this book is one of my favourite books by Penny Wylder. In fact, I think I can honestly say that it IS my favourite so far. I was hooked from page one and read this book within half an hour. I liked Wanda but I loved Mac. I liked that Mac made his move the moment Wanda was back in town. His feelings for her were clear to see. He was open and honest about his feelings and what he wanted. I liked Wanda’s bond and closeness with her big brother. I liked that although she didn’t want to betray him, she couldn’t help but give in to her feelings for Mac. I liked that when it came to it, she stood up to her brother and told him what was going on and how she felt. And I liked that Nathan finally started to come around. The chemistry and passion between Mac and Wanda was undeniable and I loved them as a couple. They were cute together.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read.

Wanda moved back to her brother’s house after her business fail and her boyfriend kicked her out because she refused to sleep with him. Back home, her crush who lives next door was washing his car. He challenged her to admit that she had crush on him and hosed her wet. He brought her to his place and they start fucking. Mac actually has crush on her too since high school. She didn’t want Nathan her brother pissed off and didn’t tell him about it. Nathan thought Mac was opening a gym to compete his but it was a rehabilitation centre. Wanda was so horny, she sneaked to Mac’s house and agreed playing anal. Only a year later, after 6 months being married that she was knocked up.

I really enjoyed this book. I was a little upset with Wanda trying to hide things at first with Mac because he was just a good guy and I didnt like that she was keeping him a secret. And the more I found out about him the more and more I just fell in love with him. Once she did get some backbone with the situation, I ended up being ok. She fought for what she wanted even though she knew he brother would be pissed. But I like how she said she was doing this for herself & he needed to take a second look at Mac because he was a great guy. Really, just an adorable read.

I received this ARC free for my honest opinion. I thought Mac and Wanda's story was sweet. As usual Penny has turned up the hotness !!My only negative comment is that I thought the title would tie in more with the actual story.

Sometimes I love a good instant love story. Things happen right off the bat between Wanda and Mac. They've know each other since high school and when she comes back home live with her brother, she see's that Mac is his neighbor. Not wanting to upset her brother, they began a secret and instant love affair. What will happen with Nathan, the brother, finds out? Nice easy read for a rainy morning!

totally Penny! not sure how some1 said the title is misleading? i wonder?? any who ... it is totally a Penny book ... love her writing style. love the cover. i've yet to find a book that Penny doesn't give ya a HEA ending??! i appreciate her style. hated, unknown man from across the street becomes more ... what??

Wanda still has feelings for Mac & it becomes clear Mac feels the same way about Wanda but things are kind of complex because Mac is opening up a gym in their hometown but Wanda’s brother already has a gym in town. Things are a little complicated but Wanda needs to make a decision for herself & think for herself instead of pleasing her brother.
Things I liked:
- the story itself (without looking at the timeline)
Things I didn’t like:
- so Wanda’s a virgin although she had a boyfriend for years but she just didn’t feel like giving it up to him (then why tf would you stay with him in the first place?)
- Mac’s personality seemed a little hollow to me
- the scene when she lost her virginity was one big joke, seriously. I was crying because it was that bad!

This story could have a lot of potential but it all just went a little too fast for my like. It’s like this story was written in 1 day. It all feels a little too rushed. Also the title is Knocked up by her brother’s enemy but she gets pregnant in the epilogue when she’s already married with the H. Mac & Wanda’s brother became friend in the last chapter.. It would be a much better story if she got pregnant the first time they did ‘the deed’ & found out while she was still keeping it a secret to her brother she was seeing Mac.

Four years and dozens and dozens of books after discovering Penny Wylder she remains my top pick for quick, hot as sin tales to pass the time with. Her books are consistently well plotted, full of attention grabbing, interesting characters and taboo charged scenarios. She also keeps you on your toes by continuously surprising with the occasional heartfelt and fully relatable storyline sprinkled within her cauldron of panty melting, over-the-top erotic fairytales. And here with, “Knocked up by Her Brother’s Enemy” she once again delivers another perfect example of how the taboo queen shines well beyond the sexy smut she is famous for.
Here with the story of Mac Stillwell and Wanda McCall, Wanda being a twenty-something woman moving back home to her older brother’s house after a failed relationship and business venture. A woman harboring a secret crush on her brother’s neighbor and arch enemy Mac, a man she hopes to avoid despite going weak in the knees any time she is in his presence. The attraction is swift, adventurous and instant. Penny Wylder manages to fit in a whole storyline and steamy scenes in this quick read. Yes, I’m still not a fan of unsafe sex, but you see the couple as endgame pretty fast.

A decent quick read!
The best part about this book is that you’re hooked from the very first line. I read this book in less than a day, it’s a decent quick read for those of you who want something quick, short and steamy. I took 2 stars away because I was truly expecting just a little bit more. Still, I recommend this good, quick read.

A really fun and enjoyable read. Great chemistry between Wanda and Mac helps create a lot of steam in this short book. A cute plot and sweet emotions add to your reading pleasure. I'm posting a honest, voluntary review.

Really good book. Super steamy and great characters. I loved the characters. He just seemed like a genuinely nice guy. And they were really good together. I do wish we got to hear his pov though. The ending was cute. Final note: the title is slightly deceiving.

Knocked up.
The title is a bit misleading. It’s suggests drama with a pregnancy which isn’t the case. It is a cute story though! It’s a nice change of pace to see a decent male athlete! It’s a short story. I didn’t read the additional short stories.
