Boris Hermann is the superstar of the German pro-sailing-scene. He sailed around the world in the fastest time - just 47 days - and holds several records at sea. He was the highest-placed German participant 2010/11 at the Barcelona World Race, reaching (with Ryan Breymeier) a respectable 5th place. Die hauptsächliche Faszination üben in diesem Buch die beeindruckenden photographischen Einblicke ins Hochsee-Segeln aus. Boris Herrmanns Randnotizen hätten für meinen Geschmack ausführlicher, aber vor allem chronologisch arrangiert sein dürfen. Was wirklich schade ist, da er in Interviews fesselnd, wortgewandt und verständlich erzählt. Stattdessen fällt hierin derart viel Fachvokabular, dass ich damit hoffnungslos überfordert war. - Aber macht nichts - nur so kann man dazulernen.
