Politics, lies, deceit, revenge, and video tapes... I liked this story a lot, although there are some questionable scenes I do think that this is a fast and entertaining read.
Life is uncertain, love is chaning, and loneliness is a double edged sword. Lyric Devaney has one last chance to fulfill her destiny as Hollywood's hottest actress. Taking no prisoners, she goes for what she knows. Friends, Madison lives in shadow, Portia unsuccessfully tries to compete, and Joshua secretly loves her from afar with a tinge of a pompous attitude.
Life. Love and Loneliness is a dynamic tale of success, vindictiveness, jealousy, manipulationn, adultery, corruption, rape, bigotry, bribery, addiction and murder. A very visualistic, captivating, and well developed storyline. What's your poison of choice? 4.78
This was a very intersting book about love and distrust, infidelity, sexuality, murder and so many other things all wrapped up in this book. I would love to see this made into a movie.
Finished this on Tuesday, and I must say this author knows how to create drama!! Very interesting read!! But why didn't my revised copy have Joshua on the cover as well?
I've always loved books centered around a friend group, mild to no drama or discrepancies between them. I love to see the different personalities together, especially when it comes to classmates, sisters, brothers, whatever relation, I love plots like these.
The ending caught me off guard, but I admire the author's genius, I never expected a death and multiple tragedies. Though, with the way society is set, the outcome is all reality. This book is so easy to follow.
I am so sad about Madiaon, though, I had an inch of hope that THAT MAN was maybe good, but the whole FBI thing gave it away, but like her I was in delusional for her. Though I expected it to all be a facade, I never knew it would run that deep. It is my own fault for just being so intrigued in the bookstore that I never looked up the genres; I have a bad habit.
