Well I’m still fanning myself from all the heat coming from this book. Walker is a friend of Lacey’s brother. They have known each other since college and they meet again because they are opponents in business. Walker is a player but what fascinated me most has been Lacey’s audacity and boldness in his regards. Their affinity is absolutely obvious but mostly the chemistry will leave the reader speechless . I highly recommend the reading of this book.

A short fast-paced steamy enemies to lovers romance and I really like it.
Both after the same thing, she needs it to proof herself, he wants it because he never say no to a sassy beautiful challenge.
Oh yeah the steaminess in this book is exquisite, I wished more of the fighting though, it's there but not as much as I wanted it, it feels like they're easily give in to the temptations.
It's packed with drama and it has all the feelings, so yeah I really enjoying it.
As for charaters, Love Lacey and Walker as a couple, love their banter and the build up of their relationship, they're kinda weak though, they're so easily to give in to each other's temptations, one minute they say no, the next minute they say yes.
Still I like all the sweetness and hotness this couple bring.
If you're looking for fast-paced steamy enemies to lovers read, this one is for you.

A lighthearted romance between Walker and Lacey. Both of their characters were likeable. There was not a great deal of angst. Their conversation was sometimes funny, sometimes sarcastic.
This book does not require much emotional investment from the reader, at least it did not require any from me. I thought the ending was somewhat abrupt. But, you still get a HEA. A good beach or vacation read.

This is a great 2nd story! This story is about Lacey and Walker. Lacey is a twin and she has an older brother and she is not taken as seriously in their family business as the guys are so she agrees to take on the work to buy KBBM Studios. Lacey finds out that Walker is also trying to buy them and they have a very interesting meeting the first day! Walker is one sexy man who has just returned from a break from life after a woman did wrong by him. Lacey has had a crush on him for many years and Lacey is not sure if she should risk a one night stand with Walker. The connection and heat between them is something off the charts and keeps them both coming back to each other. The banter and special relationship they do have is something they both are denying. Walker has explained to Lacey from the start that he does not want a commitment or a relationship and Lacey sticks to it. One day Walker takes it too far and Lacey shuts Walker out and tries to move on. Can Walker really she what Lacey means to him before it’s too late and will Lacey be ever to forgive Walker for his hurtful words?

Sexy Enemies to Friends/Brothers Best Friend Romp
I really enjoyed Lacey & Winter’s Story. The magnetism of their feisty yet honest connection dazzled off the page, it became almost an addiction to see what happened next. The sex was hot enough but not scorching, it was more about the physicality enhancing the emotional connection. The pace kept good timing with events happening and no ‘for the sake of adding words’ were added to interrupt the flow. The sub characters were engaging, although I was a little disappointed that towards the end when her brothers took over her proposal without involving her, it would have been refreshing to have her pull them up on their behaviour and perhaps include a twist where her business acumen was equally as rewarded as her love life is about to be. The dynamics of the family could have been a stronger connection to take advantage of especially as there are other books in the story, but I am not sure that those characters came across strong enough for me to want to read their versions. This was, however, a good fun sexy read.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. This is a cute story about a man obsessed with getting a clothing company from a competitor. Blake already had a clothing line in his sporting goods equipment company, but the clothing line was failing since Blake never made it a priority and their main designer used ugly colors which looked like they belonged in the 1950's...Poppy recently inherited the clothing company of Outdoor and Adventure, took the extra's out and let the designers show her what they could do and her sales were up. Of course Blake wanted to schmooze his way into her company and her life, thinking just an offer and a date would get him the company....he was wrong, but you will have to read this funny romp through the story to see if a purple-haired woman with a nose piercing can intimidate a man used to having his own way with women....

I really enjoyed the relationship between Walker & Lacey. He was her twin brother's best friend even though they were rival CEO's. She was tasked to go up against him to bid for another company. She had the skill set & she was clever, when they were together sparks flew. He was a love them & leave them type of guy & he was confused by his attraction to Lacey who challenged him in so many ways. She was irresistibly sexy, he began to love how funny & sassy she was & she couldn't resist his charms. The sex scenes were HOT! He got it in his head that he couldn't truly love her & broke off their relationship. Forced by his best friend to clean up his act after waking him from a binge drinking spree Walker confessed that he really loved Lacey. She was set up by friends to meet at a restaurant & he arrived....sigh! HEA.

Months later, as she’s battling a bug, he accuses her of trying to play games with him. End of story? So they think. It’s not over.
I loved this story. A player faces down his greatest fear. There was a big amount of sexual chemistry between both, his ability to get her attention and keep it was funny as was his competitive nature. I read it like a maniac. I couldn’t and wouldn’t let this book go. Yes, the sexual descriptions were bar none awesome.
Pick up this book. You will be so happy and satisfied that you did.

Great well written story. I loved the relation between the two main characters (I love you/ Me too I hate you), the way they interact. They hide their feelings behind sex, each one claiming that there will never be anything else than sex. They’re always in denial, but they continue, doing the same, without aknowledging that something changed.
It’s not the most complicated story, but I couldn’t put the book down and I loved it.
Lacey comes to buy a sports television, when she discovers that there is another buyer, Walker Titus, who was in college with her twin brother Lucas, and who met her when she was vomiting. But now, thy compete to buy the same enterprise. Except that they’re attracted and they decide to have one night that of course , isn’t enough.

This is a stand alone bk 2 of the Boardroom Games series. This is Lacey and Walker's story and what a story it is. The Peak Adventures, Sayer family is back. This time Lacey (twin to Lukas) is put in charge of a new acquisition by big brother Blake (His Takeover Boardroom Games #1) this puts her in direct competition with Walker who is hot as hell and her twin's best friend. There is an instant attraction. But Walker doesn't do relationships. Can these 2 have a no nonsense sex only fling or will hearts get broken and end Lukas' friendship with his best friend? It was so fun to revisit Blake and Poppy as well as to see the beginning of what could be Lukas' story. Piper Sullivan has a lovely series here.

I read the first book in this series and was sad to let go of the characters. I was so excited that I didn't have to. I enjoyed the glimpses of Lacey we got there and was thrilled to find out we got to read her story next. Sinful Takeover is her story with Walker...
Lacey is getting her big shot and Walker is her competition...sparks will fly and, of course, where there is a spark there will often be flames. This is definitely the case with these two. It was a great read and I hope this world continues. I very much love this series. I fell asleep with my kindle...something I never do. You can never go wrong with a Piper Sullivan romance...unless you don't like sexy Alpha males.

This is the second book in the enemies to lovers series and it was just as good as the first book. I love the way Piper Sullivan writes her books they have such a fun and deliciously hot feel to them. The fun part with this book is the fact the enamel is actually her brothers best friend which makes it a hot off limits subject. Lacey and Walker have seriously hot off the charts chemistry from day one and it is very hard to deny. They decide to have a no strings attached arrangement but as most people know that never works as one side always fall in love or there is some sort of misunderstanding. Further than that I am not giving anything away. Great read.

I have to say this book was very very HOT !! The chemistry between Walker and Lacey was hot enough to burn my fingers as I was reading. They know each other from college. Walker was Lacey's brothers best friend. Now years later they are thrown together but are going against each other. Watching them fight what they feel while still trying to win was so much fun to read I just loved the story and I absolutely loved seeing characters from the first book. I cannot wait until Luke's story I am positive it will be just as hot if not hotter.

I had liked Lacey since the first book, since she is fun and never lets her brothers escape a good conversation.
When Lacey and Walker are on their way to a business they both want, the attraction between them is undeniable, even if they are momentarily enemies in business.
They both agree in a few moments together, with no strings attached, but will they be able to deny the feelings surfacing between them?
I confess that Walker isn't one of my favorite characters, since his arrogance did'nt please me very much and his actions towards Lacey were not the best either. But in the end he managed to redeem himself a little.
This is an interesting story and I recommend the reading.

Lacey’s brother is finally giving her a chance to prove herself. She is going to be the one to make the deal and buy KBBM studios the only problem is her brother’s best friend and her crush Walker, wants it as well. The chemistry is steamy and even though Walker doesn’t due relationships that can’t seem to stay away from each other. Will Walker or business come between this budding new love? This is a fast-paced read with plenty of drama and lots of steamy scenes. The characters were a lot of fun and the story entertaining. I really liked it.

Now here's to wishing i was in those scenes because the writer made them come alive. Walker Titus a walking sex God didn't even realize that love hit him. My girl lacey a strong woman that can play the game right. Ain't nothing wrong with having some consenting fun while we after the same company. I would recommend this book to anyone that's willing to give up their day. Trust when I say when you start you won't stop reading till the end.

I really enjoyed Lacey and Walker's story, it was interesting to see a deeper side to Lacey; her dreams and insecurities. Walker and Lacey made an interesting and likeable couple; their banter, humour, chemistry and respect of each other personally and professionally.
This book was a light hearted read for me with hidden depths and vulnerabilities. I'm looking forward to Lukas' story.

WOW!!! Talk about hot! This one is sure to leave scorchmarks as it sizzles. The undeniable chemistry between the two main characters is explosive yet they manage to maintain a semi-professional work presence, sometimes easier said than done. The twists and turns keep you guessing as you frantically turn the pages to find out what comes next. I highly recommend this book.

This is another well written book, with interesting characters and great storyline. Lacey and Walker, Lacy brothers best friend, had an instant attraction with a sexual chemistry that was too hot to ignore. They find them selves both competing to acquire the same failing media company. It is a nice flowing story that is quick and easy to read with lots of drama keeping you intrigued to the end.

Not much to write in this review because it is an amazing story with nice storyline and plot. The characters are very well described and they have an amazing chemistry. I like it is written in dual POV, which gives the reader both the thoughts and feelings of the main characters. That makes the story even more emotional and captivating.
It has a nice depth in the story that shows it is written with heart. It is more than just steamy scenes.

Justin Jennifer what can I say...truly amazing story storyline when Justin wanted a partner for a while seems so trying to read into the story..
Anyway the story was to short..Maybe if you had a few more pages the storyline would have been a lot of action etc etc..But overall

Lacey and Walker start out as competitors when they are both trying to buy KBBM but they very quickly turn into friends with benefits. Walker is not one to commit to a relationship, and Lacey is happy to go along with the just for sex fun, but you can't always choose when you fall in love. This is a great friends to lovers story and yes they have their ups and downs but they get their happy ending.

I love how strong the character Lacey is. She is the perfect heroine for Walker whose been busy buying media outlets after his ex cheated and tore his heart out. Luckily he is pit against her on a station seeing his best friends little sister after so long its insta lust but when shes able to keep emotions out he wants more...until his ex causes issues. Can he man up or will Lacey have to walk away

Oh, my goodness…! There’s more happening here than corporate takeovers.
Things are heatin’ up in the boardroom.
But what’s Love got to do with it??
A lot, apparently.
I enjoyed this one!
Bottom line: The ending made me cry. (Yeah, I know. Certified Romantic Sap here). 5 stars.

Sinful Takeover is a steamy pseudo Friends to lovers story about Walker and Lacey. They have amazing physical chemistry and mentally are well matched. I especially enjoyed how Lacey was able to drop Walker’s ego down a notch. Great storyline and characters to match.
