This was a very, light fun read. The concept was interesting and fun as well. I loved feeling I was apart of the guest list to this amazing group of Hollywood's elite. Worth reading from the first page to the last.

I just couldn't get with the conceit that all of these conversations took place at San Simeon and WR Hearst was about to descend to the Assembly Room and join them, particularly when some of the stars and films were made after he died. But mostly it just seemed like warmed-over tidbits from various interviews and not a new (to me) anecdote in the whole thing.
