The Bridesmaid romantic comedy series are sweet, romantic comedies inspired by the black and white rom-coms of the Cary Grant era. Each novella focuses on a different bridesmaid in Bon-Bon Heiress Tiffany Bonanader’s wedding party. The Wedding Promise Tiff Bonander heads to Ecuador leaving a string of broken engagements behind her. Will military vet Jackson Hardaway win her heart or have his crushed? Always a Bridesmaid Nicole Edwards needs to do something drastic to change her romantic prospects. When Chef Sean O’Malley offers her a crash course on how to be noticed they’re both surprised with the results. Rescued by a Bridesmaid Country-girl-turned-debutante Scarlet Kuhn Bonander heads to the wilds of Ecuador to find her cousin’s missing groom with the help of one very sexy best man. You May Now Kiss the Bridesmaid Bridesmaid Lorelei Spencer has one job—keep the bride’s brother Max busy. Waking up in a cheap motel with no memory of the past 24 hours she discovers that she married him. She doesn’t think this is what the bride meant! The Bridesmaid Wore White Celebrity photographer Bill Blakely is looking for a big payday. He jumps at Tara Bonander’s invitation to pretend to be her date at her cousin’s society wedding. Will he get the photos he’s looking for or will something else develop?
Prior to writing romance, award-winning, USA Today Bestseller Melinda Curtis was a junior manager for a Fortune 500 company, which meant when she flew on the private jet she was relegated to the jump seat—otherwise known as the potty. After grabbing her pen (and a parachute) she made the jump to full-time writer. Between writing sweet romance and sweet romantic comedy, Melinda finds time to bond with her husband over home remodeling projects. She recently came to grips with the fact that she’s an empty nester and a grandma, concepts easier to grasp than jet-setting on a potty.

These are sweet little novellas and I'm glad they are all boxed up into one 10 hours audio book set.
1. The Wedding Promise. Tiffany and Jackson meet in the first book when Tiffany has run away from her 5th groom to her family's cocoa farm in Ecuador. Jackson is a wounded warrior who is hiking across Ecuador in tribute to a friend who lost his life in battle. They meet in a storm and then "promise" to love each other so Jackson can stay the stormy night with the Tiffany and the Nuns.
Book 2, Always a Bridesmaid focuses on Nicole the pastry chef for Tiffany and Jackson's upcoming real wedding and Sean the Chef. Nicole and Sean have worked together often in New York. However, Nicole believes that she's been cursed and that she has to either give up the success of her New York Bakery or give up on love. While in Utah, doing a trial run for the wedding, Nicole and Sean fall in love and she gets her HEA.
Book 3, Rescued by a Bridesmaid. Tiffany's cousin heads back to Ecuador with the best man to rescue Jackson who was stuck after losing her prosthetic leg during an earthquake.
Book 4, You May Now Kiss the Bridesmaid. Tiffany's childhood friend Loreleiis a chemist who works at Bonander Chocolate. She has one task, to distract Tiffany's brother, Max, from talking Tiffany out of the wedding. Instead, they get drunk on chocolate and whiskey and Lorelei & Max get married.
Book 5, The Bridesmaid Wore White. Tara Bonander's boyfriend breaks up with her right before the wedding and she needs a new date. She invites Bill, who she only knows from the corner bar. Bill just happens to be a celebrity photographer who's trying to get a photo of Tiffany to help pay for his Grandfather's memory care. Of course everyone finds out who Bill is, and then the paparazzi find out about the wedding. Jackson walks out. Tara and Bill stage a fake wedding to distract the paps while Tiffany goes to find Jackson and the wedding takes place.
This was ok overall. The 5 novellas were weaved decently together. There's some aspects that could have been better. The 4th novella was my favorite and I definitely laughed at different aspects. A Vegas wedding that neither remember is usually comical. The final novella brought all the pieces together nicely.
This was a fun summer read! Some insta love, some long-time buried feelings love. Lots of adventure in Ecuador too. I rounded up to 4 stars. As with most collections not all stories there were parts that caused my mind to wonder but as one big story, I enjoyed it.
