This book made me want to get out on the trail. If only it wasn’t so uncomfortable to sleep on a backpacking pad now. Maybe the Big Agnes will help.
I’m amazed Strayed managed to persist with terribly injured feet and such a heavy pack. True grit.

This was such an insightful read! It definitely made me want to hit some trails! It took me some time to warm up to it - just felt a tad slow in some parts, but it was worth making it through!
