My daughter’s 6th grade World History book had a wonderful introduction to the first civilizations. This caused me to want to delve a little deeper into this time and its people. The author, Leila Foster, did a good job with this book, expanding just that next step further into day to day life in Sumer. A very nice resource for any elementary/junior high school library or classroom.
