Allow me to take your mind on a mental interlude. 66 pages filled with poetry that will lift your heart, pull at your heart strings, and at times east your load.
When reading this collection of poetry, I could truly say I felt that. The words penned expressed a different emotion. Heartfelt expressions with so many different feelings! I absolutely loved this collection from this author. Her pen game is so realistic and expressive from the depths of her heart.
My author and promoter friend turned me onto this author. My first read. Sorry it has taken me a bit to review. Great poetry book. Recommend! Read a few more from this author and she does not disappoint.
This book had me emotional reading every word!! Awesome work!! Thank you for sharing this information with the world!! I love the words dedicated to your Mother!!
I will keep this near and dear. I love books of poems, a quick reference for whatever I’m going through. My favorite poems in this were The Lady and Wings. Wings had me teary eyed thinking about my son growing up! As always great job!
I will admit that, I'm not a fan of poetry. However, I immensely enjoyed this book. There is bundles, of thought provoking poetry something for everyone. I have about 6 personal favorite, but I will only name 2. My Mother, brought tears to my eyes. A New Me, made me think about things, well into the New Year. When a book leaves, as impression on you well after you turn the last page. It can only be a 5 star read.
Poems after my on heart, i enjoyed this book i love poetry words that touch you deep inside of you soul . Where's that Captivate you in more than one way. Words that capture every emotion that you cannot express.
After I finished Into The Forest And All The Way Through, I needed something a little light, so when I saw how vibrant and bright the cover was for Mental Interlude, I was thinking I’d found it. I knew from the synopsis that it wasn’t going to be as light as I’d originally hoped, but I figured that it would work anyway. Mental Interlude tugged on my heartstrings like it promised, but it also put a smile on my face and warmed my heart too. I loved that DaKiara used rhyming in her poems, I prefer rhyming myself and I just really appreciated that she used it. Mental Interlude was great and I enjoyed reading it!
