This was not the book for me. Yes it was kinda nice to see things from Jonas’ perspective but when the entire first two books is shoved into one makes me feel like there was no reason to read the first two. The whole conflict between Jonas and Rebecca made no sense to me. Why would he voluntarily stay with her? The conclusion is anti climatic. Unfortunately just wasn’t the right book for me.

This is the third book in the secret series, by Gina a jones.
I loved the first two books and long awaited this one...
5/5 STARS 🌟⭐🌟⭐🌟
I loved reliving the first and second book through Jonas point-of-view however it was a bit confusing with several time lines running at the same time. Gina does document very well all the facts to each time line and the entire book WILL keep you trying to read faster to be able to see what happends next time the present day!
The details of everyone's past, present, and future are laid out in front of the reader. As with most books/series the last few pages always gives the idea of what kind of happily ever after is to come... I was excited to see there were three full chapters after I thought it would end...
What an emotional roller coaster❣ this book is hot, erotic, funny, heroic, suspenseful, romantic, and loving. You will be feel so many emotions from laughing, hot & bothered, irritation of men's stupidity, shocked an event was not what you were expecting and at one part I was crying so hard I couldn't read the words on my screen. This book just continues giving information like the happily ever after... then later... then later...
My goodness it's like having 3 more books In the SECRETS SERIES ... I can't wait to READ book #4.
5/5 starts... SERIOUSLY should get 10/5 stars ... this author is now one of my top favs. I can't wait to see what she writes next...

I don't even know where to start! There wasn't a moment I was bored. In fact, I was racing to the end wondering what in the heck would happen. I quit guessing in book #2! Secret Enemy was told in Jonas' POV and boy did he expose some secrets. Some which blew me away. He was a man determined. I don't want to give too much away in this review. I'll just finish with a woman turned into a queen who fought for what she loved.

Narration 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

First of all, the narrattion by Aaron Shedlock was amazing, he portrayed all the characters in a marvelous way combining different voices and accents which made the book so much enjoyable.

Book 3 ⭐⭐⭐

As for the story; the book is told now on Jonas' point of view and it altetnates between past and present. On the one hand it was interesting listening to some of events that occurred on the past because we get to learn what really happened, and why he did certain things, on the other hand, I think that there are some parts that weren't necessary because they didn't tell you anything new, it was just a repetition of book 1, and it got tirening. Besides, there is about an 80% of past events and the other 30% is the present.

In regards of the events happening in the present, they were interesting and had me wondering again how everything was going to be solved. I loved Julia in this book, because she finally is the strong heroine and is the one who has the upper hand and saves the day (well done Julia)

Ok so I had a hard time with this one. I was excited about getting Jonas' perspective and answers to the many questions and mysteries from the previous two books. The majority of what I got was the entire previous two books being crammed into a new one with snippets of new story peeking thru. This made the story really really drag for me. I could have just started with this book and not missed a beat. I did like how the book switched from past to present but I had to wait until about the last 5% of a really long book to get answers and reasons why.

Ok, so this entire book is from Jonas' pov past/present chapters. Honestly about halfway in, I started skipping some past chapters because I'm not a huge fan of retelling of books in the other characters pov. It just seemed to me in this case that there were a lot of repeated scenes. It just took the enjoyment for me listening to this last book. I understand that we learned the reasons why Jonas did what he did. Ugh and Rebecca just made me mad. The writing itself was good though.

Aaron did an amazing job narrating, I need to listen to more of him.

To be honest, I love this series a lot. The story is beautifully written and easily fell in love with. As a reader, you might find the story a bit long, but every secret has details, one lead to another. It all goes back to what we have done in the past that makes us "us" today. There is always a bunch of reason we think it is reasonable to do something which is wrong. It's never easy to explain what happened in the past sometimes. Why, when, how are the usual question, but do we really want to answer that question? Deep in our heart, we know the answer, what matter is will the person you love the most be hurt because of what you did? Luckily Julia is so clever and strong-minded woman.

Trust my silence and my silence to you.

Julia in book 3 is like this
description

Jonas in book 3 is like this
description

It's funny how Luke has so little part of this book, but after all, it's all about Julia getting his man back from biatch Rebecca. While Jonas is pretending to with Rebecca, But somehow Jonas manage to find ways to have ____ sex with Julia (I just can't find words to describe how good the sex are).
description

Anyway, I really enjoy reading it, although it's a bit long but IT IS all the detail you will need to answer Jonas's questions about his dark past. Don't hesitate to read all the details, sometimes it feels excited to know more about other's secrets.

In this third and final installment of the secret series, Gina A Jones let's Jonas tell us the story of how things ended up where they are. I had my reservations about this man for the first two books. With so many unanswered questions, this point of view was a necessary move, and really brought light to the continued secrets and lies. While Julia has grown from young and naive to strong and determined, Jonas has learned what life is really about and hopefully how to achieve it. I love the journey these two souls have taken, and it goes to show that no matter how imperfect the people or relationship, with love, compromise and persistence, happiness will prevail. I am not a huge fan of cliffhangers, but I felt that Jones crafted this series in a way that each book would give just enough to leave you satisfied, but still wanting more. Characters like Jenna and Rebecca will leave you angry and annoyed, but with just enough doubt to wonder if they deserve some happiness. Then you find out the full story and you are know exactly what they deserve and just hope that it turns out the way you think! This is the perfect blend of suspense, angst, steam and romance. The series will leave you with a serious book hangover and looking for the next generation of stories. Will Luke's be in the future? Or Sidney? I can't wait to see who is next.

Aaron Shedlock portrays Jonas with complete precision. His voice gives Jonas enough of an edge that at times it is hard to tell if he is the bad guy or if you should sympathize with his plight! It's perfect, keeps you guessing and makes you feel. As always, his transitions between characters is flawless and completes the story excellently.

The storylines in the first two books had a very high level of drama with pretty predictable cliffhangers. This third book has all the drama of the first two, but there were actually some things to Jonas' side of the events in the first book that surprised me. I loved that this third book switched perspective, which is why I rated it higher than the first two in the series. You get to see Jonas's side of the events in the first book as well as additional events beyond the end of the second book. As the story progressed, I liked Jonas both more and less at the same time, and wasn't sure if I was rooting for Julia to end up with him or Luke. Whether or not I like the events of the story, if the character's actions matter to me, I appreciate what the author created. (And I was definitely not liking them when about 2 minutes into the book I discovered that there were even more secrets. Did Jonas learn nothing in the first two books?!)

I listened to the audible version. Aaron Shedlock was a new narrator for me and I really liked his performance was great. I'd listen to more by him in the future.

Secret Enemy is the third book in The Secret series. I had mixed feeling about this book. While it as supposed to be from Jonas POV, the majority of this book was a retelling of the first two books. This caused the story to be extremely long and it dragged as we again had to go through everything from the past before we got to present day and the story being resolved. The current day story was interesting as there were enough suspense, drama, twists and turns to keep you hooked.
I listened to the audible version of this novel which was narrated by Aaron Shedlock. He did a fantastic job with these characters and really brought the story to life. I enjoyed listening to him narrate this novel.

Wow! Gina Jones you did it again! This is the third book in a series, and I really hate cliffhangers, but this was well worth it! Kept me wondering and guessing! It was nice to hear Jonas's side of the story. Julia develops a lot of backbone in this book. She's fighting to save her family. Loved the twist and turns! Very excited to read Luke and Natalie's story next!

Secrets Revealed! Great Conclusion to a Great Series!
Secret Enemy
The Secret Series, Book 3
By: Gina A. Jones
Narrated by: Aaron Shedlock
Series: The Secret Series, Book 3

I loved & enjoyed this series, Gina A. Jones’ books capture your attention, entertains your and keeps you thinking and wondering through out. “Secret Enemy” is Jonas’ point of view, events from the first two books are revisited and we learn his side of the story and what was going thru his mind. Oh my Jonas you are one devious minded devil! I hated him for a good chunk of the book, I will say no more I do not want to spoil anyone else’s hate. The time lines switches between past and present, in the present you are taken for another rollercoaster ride with more mystery, suspense and drama. Gina A. Jones you are a mastermind, thank you for this amazing series, it entertaining and thought provoking, kept me wondering to the very end and what a great ending it was, great epilogues too.

I listened to the Audible edition, Aaron Shedlock is a fabulous narrator, he is a natural talent knows how to bring a story and its characters to life right from the pages to your ears. His portrayal of Jonas was phenomenal. Thank you for the great listen.

Audiobook Review

This has been such an intense series with so many twists and turns it kept me guessing the entire time. This is book 3 and the final in the series and it ties it all together. We get to hear the story from Jonas's lips via Aaron Shedlock and get the rest of the story. We learn that Julia isn't as naive as she first appeared. This is a really good mystery with love and surprises and danger and hot passion. My compliments to the writer, she has one heck of an imagination and talent to weave a tale that keeps you on your toes.

Aaron Shedlock was amazing to listen to. This was my first time listening to him but will not be my last. Loved his voice and his timing was spot on. Enjoyed it from beginning to end.

I received a code at my request to listen to this book and give my honest opinion. Definitely 5 stars for me and beyond. I highly recommend it. This is a 3 part series that all ties together but you can listen to this one and get most of the back story if you choose. I recommend listening to the first 2 though to enjoy the entire story of Jonas and Julia.

I loved hearing Jonas' point of view. The repeating of previous scenes in his point of view really answered so many unanswered questions. Jonah's story filled in any blanks and tied all the characters together. Once again, as I thought I had it all figured out, the plot twisted to be a surprise ending. The ties to the past in both Jonas and Julia's lives was a very sweet touch. The sex was hotter and more in this book, but then again, it was a guy's point of view. The only confusion I had, was the constant jumping from past to present. I found I really had to pay attention to this story or I got lost quickly.

Aaron Shedlock was superb in narrating Jonas. Mr Sherlock brought out his roughness, yet was still able to show that sweet side for his girls. Mr Shedlock seperated the characters with different tones and they were consistent and easy to follow. Mr Shedlock made it seem as if Jonas was talking to me as he told me his troubles. Aaron Shedlock's narration enhanced the overall experience of this story.

I very much reading the story from Jonas point of view.
There were a few moments when I would get a bit loss in the timeline yet then the author would put me right back on track.
The issues that were between Jonas and Rebecca might seem trivial to some yet to Jonas they were a real challenge to overcome. It was a internal fight within himself of who he was and who he chooses to be with Rebecca. I can definitely say this series had a lot going on and kept my attention.
At first I thought Jonas a bit creepy upon reading his POV but the further in to the story the more we were made aware of truths. It's so funny to think that this is life. There are always 2 sides to every story and you never really know the whole truth.

I honestly can say that I enjoyed this series and look forward to Luke finding his true love.

When I first started the first book, I was like ughhhhh. Tell me I didn't just sign up to read a book that is going to be so cheesy and corny my mind will numb. I kept reading though. Because I'm stubborn. I am SO glad I did. This series is far from cheesy or corny. It's full of suspense and intrigue. I loved every moment of it.

I'm normally not for a point of view switch in the series, but I was here for this one! I felt that it couldn't have been a better shift. Not only that but it was a nice recap of the first two books as well! Just from another perspective.

I fully recommend this book. If you had asked me if I'd fall in love with the characters and the series when I started the first book, I would have laughed and said no. But it happened. I WANT MORE! PLEASE!!!

Wow this third part of the series was great. It had me hooked from the first sentence . Loved how this gave you Jonas side of the POV . His POV had me hooked by the way his mine was working. Jonas was known to anilyned everything, even the smallest detailed . When Jonas and Julia got a phone call from someone, from Jonas past saying they have their babies. Jonas knows he needs to do something drastic.
Jonas is wondering will his past destroy what he has with Julia . One thing I got to tell you , you will love it. Don’t want to tell you more . Love how their was lots of suspense.

Love love Aaron voice . Love how smooth and calm and sooo clear it is. His voice is so mesmerizing, it makes you feel like your right in there

The final installment is longer than the first two as it dips back and forth between present and past, reliving some of the first two books from Jonas' perspective but also adding what he was doing on his "business" trips and otherwise away from Julia.  Some of the revelations might shock you.  Others are pleasing.  Julia consumes his actions but relationships with others are revealed in greater detail.  Julia shows that she can play with the big boys as the story closes out.

As for the narrator, he doesn't appear to have much experience with French words (like fleur de lis - lis should sound more like lee) and the name Genevieve but those things aside, listening to him for more than fourteen hours was not a hardship.

Absolutely Amazing!!!

OMG!!! This series!!!! The first two book destroyed me in so many ways and then slowly pieced me back together and this book was no different! I went through every emotion possible when reading Jonas' POV. First I loved him, then I hated him, then I felt bad for him. Seriously! Gina Jones really knows how to tug at every single heart string!!! I must admit, even though I am extremely happy to finally have all the answers, I am sad to see this story end. I will definitely be returning to this series anytime I need a read with lots of twists and turns!

The narration was perfect! I wouldn't change a thing about it!

Gina A, Jones has written an intriguing 5-star book. Aaron Shedlock did an 5-star narration of this book. Book 3 continues with the story and in this one, it is from Jonas's point-of-view. It tells of all the lies, betrays, twists, and turns, disappointments and the sacrifices that were made on both Julia and Jones's parts. It will throw a curveball in the mix when you think you have things figured out. It tells of the love that Julia and Jonas have for each other and what they do to keep each other safe.
This book, you will not be able to put down until the end. I would recommend this book to anyone.
I received an ARC of this book for my voluntarily and honest review.

WOW - I dont think i have loved and hated a story as much as I did this one!!! The twists and turns of this rollercoaster of emotions had me enthralled!!
What a stunningly amazing dramatic last book of the series.
Having it from Jonas's point of view seemed weird at first but with the flash backs to the past running along side the current times line it filled in all the blanks from his side of the story and more secrets are uncovered!!
I cant recommend this series strongly enough if you are looking for many hours of thrilling, intruiging and sexy story telling!!

This is the third book in the Secret Series. We finally got all the answers! This was Jonas's POV and like a sequel, this needed some repeats from the first books in the Series. The storyline is filled with intrigue, mystery, and many twists and turns! I loved the ending and the epilogue. The narration was absolutely well done and perfect, as for the other books in the Series. I received this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

This is not a stand alone series, you have to read books 1 & 2 first.
The twists are jaw dropping, and you absolutely do not see them coming. From beginning to end emotions run high, right along with the action. This was an amazing end to the series!

A perfect ending to this series. I must admit that I was getting quite angry with Jonas in this book but lucky for me he was able to turn it around. Just like the previous books you will feel many emotions through the whole thing and will be happy to see an amazing ending for these two.
