Tie the Knot in Good Hope

Rate this book
Love always finds a way…

Lindsay Lohmeier’s life is no bed of roses. After struggling at a job she loved, but ultimately lost, she opened her own florist shop in Good Hope. Her budding business won’t be her only new addition. Lindsay is pregnant. While she’s happy to open her heart to her baby, opening up to the father is another story.

The last thing Owen Vaughn expected to hear was that he was going to be a father—again. He’s been down this road before and it ended in pain so devastating he thought he’d never heal. Still, he won’t abandon his child or Lindsay, the woman who--before they broke up--had been a bright spot during his darkest days.

Owen proposes, but Lindsay wants her child to grow up in a family built on love, not obligation. As they spend time together preparing for the baby, old feelings resurface. Owen encourages Lindsay to find her own way, hoping she’ll see this pregnancy has given them something special…a second chance at love.

I want to thank Cindy Kirk for a chance to review this book.

Previous readers of this series have met Owen and Lindsay before in supporting roles. They have always had a connection, yet Owen broke it off before this story begins. Lindsay is a trooper - she lost her job, and has to figure out how to support herself. And at the same time, she finds out she is pregnant.

I enjoyed reading how things work out, and I loved seeing the many familiar faces that inhabit Good Hope.

I had the opportunity to read this book through an advanced reader copy in exchange for an honest review and was so excited for the opportunity. First make sure you read "Marry Me in Good Hope." While her books are each individual there is a lot of background for this book set in the previous book. I actually highly recommend the entire series as they are all a great read.

I was super excited to read this book and finally find out what happens with Lindsay and Owen's story. One of the things I loved about this book is how well the author dealt with the emotions dealing with loss. The loss of a child is such a tough subject and I thought it was beautifully dealt with in this book especially how hard it is to move on and trying to protect oneself from future hurt. I really enjoyed this book and I'm hoping that there will be a future book for the characters that were hinted at in this book. Once again I really enjoyed this book along with the others from this series and look forward to more.

Wow. What a great story. From the beginning you are drawn into Lindsay and Owen’s story, and you want it to work for them so much. Owen is afraid to love and lose again, since the pain of losing his daughter is still such a big part in his life. Lindsay is afraid to make a mistake and marry for the wrong reasons.

Cindy takes you on a wonderful journey of their love story, the good and the bad. You watch their love grow and unfold until they finally both realize they were meant to be together. The road is bumpy and they are faced with challenges that keep them apart for a bit, but they are surrounded by friends and the Bloom sisters, who rally for their happy ending. Of course, Katherine, Gladys and Ruby have to play their part in the matchmaking, and as usual they are a fabulous trio who make you laugh at their antics.

This is another great couple and Cindy writes this book to make you feel like a friend and part of the Good Hope Circle. I can’t wait to read her next Good Hope book, but first I’m going to read her next book in the Hazel Green series. I hope she never stops writing these wonderful stories.

Lindsay Lohmeier hasn’t had an easy life. Trained as a floral designer, she was employed at a floral shop where she was overworked and underpaid. She quit to open her own business. When her friend, Owen Vaughn, lost his daughter to Cancer, she helped him pick up the pieces. When things started getting romantic between Lindsay and Owen, Owen decided to end the relationship to avoid losing another loved one. But, Lindsay fell in love with him, and is now pregnant. Can she help Owen see that love is a worthy risk?
If you want a sweet romance in a small town filled with people you wish were your neighbors, look no further. I love how the characters care for one another and help each other. The issues within the story showcases the author’s grace and open heart. The overall lesson learned is that love heals. I hope there will be many more installments to this wonderful series. Thank you, Ms. Kirk. I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from NetGalley and am voluntarily reviewing it.

I am all caught up on this series, so I have to read other books as I await Cindy’s next release. After reading other books by similar authors returning to Good Hope shows me that Cindy Kirk is an excellent author. She creates interesting characters in believable circumstances. She gives excellent descriptions of what the characters are wearing, how they look, and how the rooms or areas are decorated. This isn’t something I typically care about or give much thought to in real life, but it adds so much to the enjoyment of the book to have a better visual on the scene.
This particular story is about Lindsay Lohmeier and Owen Vaughn. They have had an on again off again relationship as secondary characters in previous books in this series, so the pairing is expected. While they go through some of the typical ups and downs of a relationship you find on this genre, this story has a side story that will bring tears to your eyes. And if you have lost a child, it could be difficult to read. But Cindy handles the fact that her character of Owen is still grieving the loss of his 8 yr old daughter with the right amount of sadness and joy and creates a very heartwarming story. This is a really well-done book and I highly recommend it to someone looking for a heartwarming romance fiction story. I received a copy of this ARC in exchange for an honest review. As usual, Cindy has done it again and offered us a romantic love story with conflict and real life problems the characters must resolve. I’ve enjoyed reading this Good Hope series so much. I always look forward to the next book! The characters we’re branching into seem to be getting more complex and conflicted with real-world problems. It’s not just a fluffy romance novel where everyone gets a happy ending. Although I do love the happy endings! But I like seeing how the characters work together and within themselves to overcome challenges. Something that really stood out to me about the main character, Lindsay, was that she wasn’t willing to settle. This theme rang true several times and she stood her ground on what was most important in her life and to her personal goals for her life. I appreciated that coming from a romance novel. Thanks again, Cindy! Another great story for the town of Good Hope. I found myself daydreaming of small town living and wishing I could attend the Harvest festival. Loved it!

It is always so nice to return to Good Hope. This series is like a bubble bath at the end of a long day. I was so excited to finally read Lindsay and Owen's story as we have watched the two of them develop feelings for each other over the past few books. When this book starts the two of them are not together and Owen is still deeply mourning his daughter. Lindsay discovers that she is pregnant and the two of them must make some very important decisions about their baby and their own relationship. I really liked how the two of them tried to communicate as honestly as they were able to, even asking each other extremely difficult questions. I loved how supportive Lindsay's friends were no matter what (plus it is always lovely to check in with everyone after their own HEA). I love that the town of Good Hope is as much a character as any of the heroines or heroes and I feel as if I were suddenly dropped in the middle of it I would know exactly how to find Muddy Boots in order to have some meatloaf and coffee. Cindy Kirk is a great writer. My only wish is that sometimes there was one or two things that could have been. Like Chanel advising you take off one accessory before you leave the house, sometimes less is more. There was so much going on in this book emotionally that I did not think we needed the meddling match makers or the rose petals. Still I really enjoyed this book and cannot wait for the next installment.

She jilted the Pastor because she loves the mechanic.

Heartbroken Owen vows never to love anyone again, it’s too hard when you lose them. Lindsey is his good friend, offering support when he needs it most. But she realises it’s more than friendship, she loves Owen. A surprise pregnancy brings up fears for them both, will they look to the future or will their past sadnesses be too much to overcome.
Good Hope is a great series and there’s always a HEA.

First let me say Lindsay has a LOT more patience with Owen then humanly possible.

Lindsay was so used to life just floating along that she never thought to make changes. When life takes over and makes changes for her - she realizes that she is strong and self sufficient. She knows she has good friends and even family who will be there for her and help ease her into her new life/role. I love her re-found (is that even a word, well, it works so I am leaving it) friendship with Ami and Eliza.

Owen is still dealing with the loss of his daughter and he doesn't want to be hurt again. But with his on again off again "I want/I don't want" relationship with Lindsay he is doing more damage then he realizes.

It is always a good time when Glays, Katherine, and Ruby get together to make magic happen!

This is a light, fun read and if you have an afternoon to spend with a book I highly encourage you to visit Good Hope.

PS, I love this cover!

Lindsey Lohmeier is finally getting her prince charming. Not wanting to settle for anything less than her friends Ami Bloom-Cross and Eliza Kendrick married, Lindsey finds herself pregnant after one night of unprotected sex with Owen Vaughn. Lindsey is nervous to share the news with Owen, who recently lost his daughter, Mindy, to cancer and has split up with her. Lindsey and Owen need to learn to trust each other to be successful parents to their child.

Ms. Kirk is passionate about her characters, as they come alive in her writing. The town of Good Hope is a wonderful setting and it is great to see the characters get a happy ending. Personally, there was a little comic relief in this book, as Ruby, Katherine and Gladys are playing matchmaker for Lindsey and Owen with a little foreshadowing of three more book possibilities with Cassie (and a possible relationship with the football player who possibly fathered Dakota and Owen's ex-brother-in-law), Greer and Katie Ruth.

I would love to see one final book, after Cassie, Greer and Katie Ruth's stories, that ties together all of the characters. Does Fin and Jeremy ever have another child (which I was hoping to see in this book)? Does Marigold and Cade ever get pregnant? And now that Hadley and David are married, will Brynn get her new brother or sister?

The Good Hope series is a great read. Each time I read the books, I find different nuances that I did not pick up the first time they were read. I feel like I am apart of the community when I am reading these novels.

I had a little trouble getting into the book when I first started reading it. There were a lot of characters introduced right at the start and I wasn’t sure who they were and it was hard to keep track. But to be fair, I have not yet read any of the other books in the series, so I’m sure that’s why. A few chapters in I really started to get into it. I like the Lindsey and Owen character very much and was hoping they’d end up together! I like that Lindsey is a strong female character, she wants love and the fairy tail but she doesn’t need it, she is capable of handling thing on her own. She finds herself pregnant by the man who had recently broken her heart and she’s ready to tackle to responsibilities by herself. She quits her job to get her own business up and running. Owen is a sweet man who has trouble letting people in, with his failed marriage and the unfortunate, devastating death of his young daughter, he’s afraid to love. He’s the father of Lindsey’s baby, but he has himself convinced that he does not love Lindsey (even though we all know he does). This is the story about them coming together, about building trust, about early trauma and how it can affect future romantic relationships. The only complaint I have, Owen realizes her truly loves Lindsey at the very end of the book! I wish it happened earlier so O could read how their relationship had grown from there! I also want to read about their baby and then as parents. Maybe we will in the next book???? I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from the publisher and am voluntarily reviewing it. Thanks Cindy for allowing me to read and review this book early! I really enjoyed it!

I really enjoy the continuation of stories from the residents of Good Hope, WI. One of the best things about a series of novels is being to peek in the lives of beloved characters from previous novels. Tie the Knot was a cute story that incorporated characters from previous novels in the Good Hope series. Owen’s character was realistically flawed and allowed his fears to affect his decisions. Lindsay was a bit wishy-washy bouncing between being single or in a relationship, which was annoying at times. The author took some liberties with fetal development and gender tests, but that was easy to overlook. I was a bit disappointed that the story ended without full resolution. It felt as though the novel ended prematurely. Yes, Lindsay and Owen agreed to marry, but their wedding was not in the book (as one would expect based on the title; there is a wedding for a minor character however), and when the book ended, Lindsay was still in the early weeks of her pregnancy. It would have made for a longer, more developed story for Lindsay and Owen’s relationship and family to be told in completion. I’m sure their story will continue in a future Good Hope novel, only this time as background/minor characters. Overall, I felt the book was a bit slow to start, but I enjoyed reading the story once I got into it. I’m not sure it’s a book I’ll pick up and read multiple times, but I will continue to read novels for the series and by the author.

Back to Good Hope! I was browsing some of the other reviews and noted that someone said that this series is like a warm bubble bath at the end of a long day.....I couldn't agree more. The characters are endearing and relate-able and I enjoy being able to check in with them and see how their lives are going. The author does not shy away from some heavy-duty topics within the stories, which I think also makes them relate-able, as most of us have to navigate through some muddy waters while going through this thing called life.

This book picks up Owen and Lindsey's story, after he has lost his daughter to cancer, and has ended his relationship with Lindsey. Lindsey finds herself being essentially forced out of a job, subsequently starting a new business, and also finds that she is pregnant with Owen's child. Owen is trying to navigate through the grief of losing his daughter while finding out that he is to become a father again.

Without giving away too many of the details, there are some major themes running through this book: grieving, finding faith after tragedy, not settling for less than you deserve, and the power of friendship. As always, the book is well-written, flows well and is an easy read for an afternoon or two.

As always, I enjoyed my trip back to Good Hope and am looking forward to the next visit.

Small town love at its best, aka when/how can I move to Good Hope?

Lindsay has always been a great friend to the Bloom sisters & Eliza, and its just fitting that she gets her happy ending now. Owen has had a rough time of it, and cannot seem to see the light at the end of the tunnel. The twists and turns and the well meaning meddling of a trio of senior citizens help this very deserving of love couple find their way.

I enjoyed seeing Lindsay come into her own -- making huge decisions about her life and career, and standing up for herself when the going with Owen got rough. Sometimes it is so easy to discount the quiet friend but not this gal! Im happy to see her find her voice and im sure she will be a good mama to her baby girl.

Owen was a tougher nut to crack - he hasnt had the easiest life, and coming to terms with his fears and accepting the possibility of a new life and love was a big struggle for him. I liked seeing him form relationships, not only with Lindsay but the other town residents as well. His unexpected, but very telling conversation with David was one of my favorite interactions in this book.

I have loved revisiting this town, and its colorful residents. I am happy to see that my favorite couples are doing well, and I am definitely looking forward to see how the rest of the character's lives turn out.

The seventh book in the Good Hope series does not disappoint! Cindy Kirk does an amazing job bring the characters to life in this series. After you read the first book, you will begin to think of the characters as friends.

Tie the Knot in Good Hope centers around Lindsey and Owen. Following the death of Owen's daughter, Mindy, Owen pushed Lindsey out of his life. Because they had been dating for quite some time and had gotten close, it took Lindsey by surprise and hurt her deeply.

Lindsey soon begins to experience those tell-tale signs of pregnancy that so many women experience during their first trimester. Lindsey goes to her doctor who confirms that she is indeed pregnant. For Lindsey, there was no thought of an abortion. She would raise this child alone and be the best mother that she could be.

Lindsey told Owen several days later that she is pregnant. He immediately asks her to marry him. He doesn't love her but figures they can be parents and raise the child together as friends, not lovers. Lindsey adamantly refuses and says that she wants real love when she gets married.

Will these two work together to find a solution? Grab the book and see for yourself!

Tie the Knot in New Hope is the seventh book in the Good Hope series and it tells Lindsey and Owen’s story. Lindsey has been from book one, a very sweet people pleaser and a bit of a doormat. Lindsey had to act as the go between various folks; her harridan of a mother and her screwup of a sister; and her prior BFF’s Ami and Eliza. She continued to work for her jerk of a boss for ten years at the flower shop. And finally, she became engaged to Reverend Dan because he asked her in front of her friends and family and she felt bad saying no. Owen has gone through hell in the prior books. As a single dad, he had to deal with his eight year old daughter dying from a brain tumor. During Mindy’s illness, Lindsey and Owen grew close and Lindsey breaks her engagement. This book starts six weeks after Owen breaks up with Lindsey. Linsey quits her job and finds out the next day that she is pregnant. Lindsey finally grows a backbone and is unwilling to settle. Owen is so scared by his past, he is afraid to love again. Their journey to their happily ever after is worth the read. This is a great next installment in the series. Cindy Kirk weaves two important themes in Tie the Knot. She carefully balances Lindsay’s desire to raise her child and own her own business with Owen’s grief over the death of his daughter. Lindsay wants a marriage where she is loved and desired, not one of obligation. Owen doesn’t believe in love anymore. His first wife left him and his daughter Mindy died of a brain tumor. Owen withdrew from his friends and buried himself in his work. The baby changed the course of Owen’s life; he needed to decide if he wanted to choose his future or stay stuck in the past.
Tie The Knot in Good Hope is my favorite book in the series. I loved that Ruby Rakes and her friends Gladys and Katherine scheme to get Owen and Lindsay back together. The three senior citizens take their job very seriously and add lots of laughter to the novel. The author weaves in two marriages and plenty of small town events which allow fans of the series to catch up on their favorite characters. The poignant friends to lovers romance and importance of family and friendship make Tie the Knot in Good Hope one of my favorite novels of 2018.
Tie the Knot in Good Hope has all the feels—it’s an emotional, loving journey through heartbreak to new beginnings told with humor, honesty and compassion.

Lauren is a florist. Owen is her ex who is also the father of her unborn child. Owen had a daughter named Mindy who had a brain tumor. She passed away in the last book, and Owen is just going day to day. The town came together for Mindy, she was a flower girl in Eliza and Kyles wedding. Lauren tells Owen she is pregnant, he wants to get married, she says No, just because she is pregnant, they don't have to get married so suddenly. Lindsay invites Owen to her doctor's appt. We find out they are having a girl ! Lindsay thinks Owen is upset that its a girl, but he assures her he is not.
They hang out and get to know each other as expectant parents.
There are a few bumps in their road but they finally make it to ..., no, contrary to the title they do not marry in the book, but they do get engaged at the end.
The town and church start a clothing drive "Mindy's Closet" after the original Mindy.
This was a great book, I have read all the Good Hope books and I love them all. I hope the next book is about Lindsay's sister Cassie. Cindy Kirk is an amazing writer, I want to move to Good Hope and never leave !

Returning to Good Hope is like getting together with a dear friend after a long time. Cindy Kirk drops the reader right back into Door County and it’s as if we never left. This installment of the Good Hope series brings the story of Lindsay and Owen, picking up several months after the death of his daughter, Mindy. Owen and Lindsay spend several months as a couple, but we learn that Own has broken off their relationship. Lindsay has just discovered she is pregnant and Owen is the father. The story of Lindsay and Owen was enjoyable and I liked that certain loose ends were wrapped up (Tessa returning near the end). There were moments that it is clear certain residents of Good Hope are being set up for their own stories later on (Lindsay’s sister Cassie most likely). There was some convoluted aspects of the story in regard to Ruby, Gladys and Katherine trying to meddle in Lindsay and Owen’s romance that I felt was completely unneeded. Other than that, the book was enjoyable and the perfect way to start summer vacation. I received an advance copy of this book in return for an honest review.

This book was full of excitement over new life.

While I felt like I got to know Owen pretty well, I can't say the same about Lindsay. Yes, I learned that she is a hopeless romantic that wants a fairy tale while also being very dedicated towards her success but I still don't feel like I got to know her as well as I got to know Eliza, Hadley, Ami or any of the other Bloom sisters. She is a likable character, just not as deep. I did enjoy seeing a new side of Anita Fishback and this is the first book where I actually tolerated that character.

Despite not connecting with Lindsay, I still found the story very enjoyable albeit a little predictable in parts. The ending felt rushed and there were secondary unfinished items that left me hanging. Nothing major or critical to the main storyline though.

New questions are poised that I hope will be answered in future books in the series. Why was Krew staring at Dakota so much? Now that Ethan is back in Good Hope, will he be one of the next to find love? Those are just some of the many questions that I hope that this series will eventually answer.

I received a complimentary copy in exchange for an unbiased review.

Single father Owen was reeling after losing his daughter to a brain tumor. He’d been seeing Lindsay before her death but broke it off because he couldn’t see loving anyone again. He didn’t think about the consequences of their short relationship. Now that Lindsay was pregnant, he wanted her to agree to a marriage of friendship & convenience. Why wouldn’t she agree?

Lindsay couldn’t believe the week she was having. First, she quit her job & then finds out she’s pregnant. She tells the soon to be father & he expects her to settle for friendship instead of love. He’s going to find out things aren’t going to be that easy.

Readers were introduced to Owen, Lindsay & his daughter in previous books in the series as supporting characters. This book is about Owen finding the courage to keep living & move on with his life. Lindsay needs to find the courage to let everyone know & that she plans on being a single mother. This writer does an excellent job of bringing her characters to life through realistic situations & descriptive prose. The plot twists & turns as they try to work their way through their problems & figure out their future. I found this a very enjoyable story!

Reading this story was like having a Hallmark movie in book form. You know it will have a happy ending but you enjoy watching it unfold. This book in the series was about Lindsey and Owen. Owen lost his daughter Mindy and for a time after Lindsey helped him get through his grief. However, Owen broke it off when it got too intense. A few months later and Lindsey is not only pushed out of her florist job but finds out she is pregnant. In step her friends and the Cherries group to help her. The older ladies of the group are busy matchmaking and are a much needed laugh in the story with their machinations. When Owen finds out, he wants to marry Lindsey. She doesn't want to be married for anything less than for love. Lindsey doesn't want her heart broken again so hesitates when Owen wants to start seeing her again. Owen has so much baggage, that includes a previous marriage, so it takes some real eye opening moments for him to not ruin his second chance at love. While each story stands alone I think it's better if you've read the previous ones. I haven't read them all so I'm off to do just that. Thankfully, I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily reviewing it.

A moving story of learning love again after the worst heartbreak a parent has to endure!

This is Lindsey's and Owen's story.
If you remember Lindsey is the daughter of Anita ans sister to Cassie. And if you've read the previous 6 books you know that Lindsey has problems and issues just like the rest of us.

Owen does as well. Previously, Owen lost his adorable daughter Mindy to an incurable brain tumor. And, understandably, he's still reeling from that loss. He found solice in Lindsey's arms. And one night left them with a little surprise.

So while this story is about a second chance between these two, it's a surprise pregnancy romance. And the majority of the story is them coming to terms with the losses they've had and that they should be looking for blessings instead or sorrows.

It's not a completely clean romance. There's one scene but is tastefully done and fits with the storyline.

This is a tender story. I enjoyed it. What I found frustrating is that Owen didn't get his epiphany until the last chapter, almost the last page!! But it still ended happy!!! Definitely worth reading!!

Cindy Kirk continues to amaze and delight with the relationships in Good Hope. The stories will have you riding an emotional rollercoaster but loving every minute of the journey. Although each story reads as a stand alone, I highly recommend reading them in order. This is Lindsay and Owen's story. Lindsay has always been a people pleaser but is now learning that her thoughts and feelings matter. She quit her job, is starting her own business and has now found out that she is pregnant. Owen broke up with Lindsay because he wasn't ready for a relationship while he is still grieving the loss of his daughter, but now that she is pregnant he tries to convince her to marry him. Lindsay will not marry with out love and Owen is not ready to put his heart out there again. Watching the journey they both take to overcome the past and reconcile the future in order to have a happily ever after makes a wonderful story.

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this book but all thoughts and feelings are my own.

I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from the publisher and am voluntarily reviewing it. I think I say I like the next book I read in this series the best. Well this one is no different. We have been captivated by Lindsey from the very beginning of this series. I believe she has played a background role in all of the books in this series. We got to know her a little bit better in Eliza’s story and now we get the nitty gritty. Lindsey’s mother is Anita. Her sister is trying to turn her life around while raising her kids. I hope to hear her story soon (hint, hint). We have already seen the connection between Owen and Lindsey after the loss of his daughter, Mindy.

This story has many twists and turns with a lot of players and of course the Matchmakers are back in full effect. As always you get a glimpse of the continued lives of the other inhabitants of Good Hope. Love is definitely in the air but Owen and Lindsey have some serious issues to deal with. Will they take a whiff? This book keeps you guessing until the end. I loved it.

I have read the first six books in the Good Hope Series. Christmas in Good Hope, Summer in Good Hope, Be Mine in Good Hope, Forever in Good Hope, Say I Do in Good Hope and Marry Me in Good Hope. I love the characters and town.

This book details the relationship between Lindsay Lohmeier and Owen Vaughn. Owens daughter Mindy passed away from cancer. Lindsay was there for him. She fell in love with him, and because he is afraid of losing someone he loves he ended the relationship. Now Lindsay is pregnant with their child. He keeps asking her to marry him for the sake of their child. She keeps refusing him, because she wants the fairytale dream. She wants the man she marries to love her. Will Owen open his eyes to see what’s right in front of him before it’s to late?

This book did not disappoint. I already liked the surrounding characters in the book, and catching up with the Bloom sisters and Eliza. I am looking forward to more stories from the Town of Good Hope.

I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from the publisher and I am voluntarily reviewing it.

I had the opportunity to read this book with an advanced copy from the publisher and am voluntarily reviewing it.
This is Book #7 in the Good Hope series and although not crucial, does make it easier if you read the previous books especially #6 Marry Me in Good Hope. Previous characters and storylines have been set up before this book, but Ms Kirk does explain what you need to know anyway.
I fell in love with this series after the first book and keep coming back because that are so good! It's definitely a guilty pleasure!
Both of the main characters Lindsay and Owen have had supporting roles in previous Good Hope books so it was lovely to finally have them as the main characters. Their story has been set up in previous books so as this story begins, they are no longer together.
Over the course of the story, you learn that both Lindsay and Owen still have strong feelings for each other and how they overcome certain hurdles to finally find their way back to each other.
Highly recommend if you've read other books in the series or just a general fan of Cindy Kirk!

I enjoyed this book and the perspective that it gave about how a parent might handle the grief of a child that they lost. It also shows us that while Owen is struggling with the love and loss of his child that he is also willing to be open to the chance at living another child and another women after the way his wife had abandoned him and his sick daughter.

Lindsey has shown herself to be a people pleaser in past books, and still is, she comes into her own in this story. It is scary to lose your job and start a new business, especially with the stress of finding out that you are going to be having the child of a man who recently lost one.

These 2 finally navigate thier way back to each other and admit to the love that has ultimately been there the whole time. I am also glad to see that she was willing to wait to get married to Owen until he could figure out he was truly in love with her and not just for the reason that they were having a child together. I also loved the little hints that Mindy was happy about the union as well.

HEA you can believe in
Lyndsay and Owens story is one I have been anxious to read. Both of these characters have had a special place in my heart and this book gave me romance, laughter, peace and above all hope. Owen lost a child and Lyndsay broke her engagement to her minister before their story had began. Their journey is one you do not want to miss.
Romance should not only be a fun and exciting escape, it should bring a measure of hope. The Good Hope series has very real situations that could actualy happen thus bringing obtainable hope to the reader. The characters are rich and woven into the series so that each book deepens your connection to the people and places of Good Hope. It has become my favorite place to visit.
I have been blessed to received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from the publisher and am voluntarily reviewing it. I wish I could give it a 6 star rating because days after reading it, I am still hopeful and happy.
