Since Grayson was a young cub in Alaska, he’s always wanted to be a park ranger. But when a rogue Alpha attacks their small den unexpectedly, Grayson’s alpha father manages to get some of his family as well as two other families out of their village unnoticed. They flee for their lives, and head in the direction of Honey Creek in hopes of finding a welcoming den.
Park Ranger Jai wasn’t happy about getting relocated to Flathead Lake Park in Montana but he had to go where the Park Service sent him. Once there, his bear felt happy and content. Jai had hoped to find his mate there, but alas, nothing. Still, his panda grumbled any time Jai even thought about asking for a transfer, so he made the most of it and made Honey Creek his home.
When Grayson scents his mate on his first day as Flathead Lake’s newest park ranger, he’s not ready. He’s what most people would call a “baby alpha” as he’s just turned twenty-one. He’s not prepared for a mate yet. His family is still recovering from losing everything and he hasn’t had time to establish himself in his position. But fate has other plans.
Things don’t go so smoothly and Grayson almost ruins his chances with his mate. When the same alpha shows up in Honey Creek, set on wiping out all male omegas, Alpha War and his den gear up for a fight for their lives.
Twins are wreaking havoc, triplets are starting to crawl, omegas are going into heat, old Alpha’s are showing up and causing problems, warlocks are still “poofing” in and out at odd times, and Grayson is head over heels in love with his little mate.
Grayson’s Enlightenment is book four in the Honey Creek Den Series. Each book contains a fated mate pair, Mpreg, lots of knotting during growly sexy times and babies. Did I mention babies? These alphas will do anything for their mates, just read and see. The Honey Creek Den Series is meant to be read in order, and not necessarily as standalones, even though each book focuses on a different couple. This book is intended for adults only as these shifters tend to get growly and don’t watch their language.
My fault for not following a series and jump straight to the middle although each book could be read as a standalone as it follows different couple each book. I'm still at a lost because of how much information and how everything happened so quickly it gave me a whiplash. It also didn't help when their conversation felt too monotonous literally dialogue without no break of showing expression. near the end of the book I started getting tired by the writing style it almost felt like a chore.
This is the fourth book in the series and I really liked it. All the characters from previous books come back and we see what's going on in their lives in addition to a new mate couple - Grayson and Jai.
Grayson, a young polar bear alpha is struggling with expectations from his parents and his den, and Jai, a mature omega panda shifter, established and sassy. There are many misunderstandings between them in the beginning due to Grayson's inexperience that is exacerbated by his very traditional alpha Dad who does not want to let go of his old ways and is dragging his family behind. Jai, sweet but with bite, give him a chance and over and over again, although, well, he sometimes flies off the handle himself, so he is not so innocent either. :-)
But they figure it out, and, HOT ALERT, have S*E*X up the wazoo! The heat, sweaty bodies, lots of sweet nothings in the ear! All is good and happy in their home. Loved that part!
As always there is a threat and crazy people who are trying to hurt the den, omegas and little tykes! But the alphas band together and defeat the enemy! I loved the scene of the fighting! It was well written with great details.
The ending was sweet and happy not only for Jai and Grayson who added their own baby in the mix but for Grayson's Dads Ivan and Sam who it seems have found that spark that was missing between them! I am happy for them, all is good. I highly recommend this book and series as well. Very enjoyable and funny read!
I love this series! Warlocks and bears! they are such a sweet couple. The alpha is decade or two younger than his fated mate and so his insecurities to be a providing partner. He struggles to overcome and build a stronger relationship in middle of a ‘battle’. it is nice pace story. for me that means didn’t skip pages :) Only negative is it becomes verbally repetitive as the Alpha keeps saying so many sorries ;) I look forward for the next fated mate meeting each other in the last few pages of these books in this series. Sadly the author has not included such an end in this book :(
Grayson and Jai are our next couple on Honey Creek. Age gap is one of my kinks even in shifterland.
Jai is a Panda 🐼 shifter who moved to Honey Creek looking for his mate but fate deemed it wasn't time yet so he still stayed and after several years Grayson our polar bear shifter makes his way to Honey Creek from Alaska.I
Grayson and his parents along with his sister fleed Alaska after their crazy Alpha thought male Omegas are abominations. After missing each other several times Grayson and Jai meet on his first day at the Ranger station.
And things don't go the way either thinks it should.
I'm really loving this series, it's sweet cute and all family oriented. That's totally my JAM! I legit can't wait for the next one!!
There's stuff that I had a little issue with, like Ryker's parents why they up and left, I get why they died, they needed an expendable couple!! So yea cool!!
Anyways loved finding out more about Edison and Wallace!!
Another amazing book in this series. This one is about Jai an omega panda shifter and a very young alpha Grayson a polar bear shifter. The character lists grows in this book. I love grumpy pregnant men!
This is a reserve age different shifter tale, with a much older Omega and an only 21 year Alpha. Each story in this series has been very entertaining especially for Mpreg enthusiasts. Taylor Rylan uses each book to go into depth about certain main characters & their particular story. Many times Jai was causally mentioned as working as one of the rangers, and taking on extra shifts to free his his colleagues when they each became new Dads. In his book both he & his mate's characters were fleshed out. They grew up very differently and had divergent views on some important issues.
Grayson was a young Alpha Polar Bear only one of a few surviving members of his family. His Alpha father raised all of his in the same rigid self reliant manner Grayson felt different, but couldn't spread his wings until he got a Ranger job & small small cabin of his own. He felt so proud & eager for the next phase of his life. It just never occurred to him that it would entail finding his fated mate at such a young age his much older and established Omega.
The author did an excellent job of describing the dilemma Grayson faced and the disappointment Jai experienced when what should have been the happiest moment of his life. How the two work out the tangled knots / kinks in their relationship makes for interesting reading. The dichotomy of being treated like a child at home and expected to be the Alpha of the house with his mate had Grayson's thoughts ping ponging in many directions - some of which caused pain to his Omega.
The other residents especially the experienced Alphas rallied to Grayson's assistance. And it was very much needed when the bunch of Alpha Polar Bears tracking and killing Male Omegas was marshalling themselves together finally for a fight. Grayson knew he couldn't defend his sick Omega alone.
I very much really enjoyed this book and reading about how Taylor Rylan handled all the situations, keeping characters distinct & reveling in each pregnancy, birth, and love for each new Honey Creek Den member. I'm glad Book #5 has already been released and I plan to start it tomorrow.
This is the fourth book in the : Honey creek Den Book Series .
This was a sweet and fun read with a little Drama I like all of these couples in this series . And although I truly believe some of the storylines in this series could be more flushed out . In my opinion there have been instances where the plot was going somewhere but it was never fully executed for instance when Edison tells Forest and Aspen that they would have many children . It seems that the Author changed her mind and decided that Forest and Aspen would only have triplets and no other children by making sure Aspen couldn't have more . Then you have Canyon who was told that his mate was coming but when his mate finally got there he was mated to someone else all because Thomas found Canyon attractive . So the other fates decided that Canyon wouldn't have children because Thomas is not a Omega . And I didn't like how the Author tried to make Thomas first mate out to be a villain all because Isaac wanted children Isaac was an omega of course he's gonna want children and Thomas couldn't give him any because Thomas was not a Alpha . And only a Alpha can get a Omega pregnant now all of a sudden Canyon is just fine with not having any pups although we've seen how not being able to have pups can mess up a mating. Not only is Canyon alright with it but he's even grateful not to have any I call BS on that one . That was a forced pairing it I ever saw one and it wa clumsily done don't get me wrong I liked Thomas and He and Canyon made a_ great couple I just think that there story could have been wrote better than it was with less plot holes make it make sense . It wasn't right that the other fates changed Canyon's fate like that on wimp although some good did come out of it and Thomas and his mate are happy . Canyon was still deprived of a family of his own having siblings and nieces and nephews is not the same as having your own .
Its a great series when you have more characters that you want their story too!
This series Honey Creek Den Series - A Paranormal Shifter Series
Several couple find their mate but unexpected means but "perfect timing", even if they disagree.
Book 1 Arik is a tiger shifter and his twin is a warlock. War the den Alpha the day he needs miracles he gets a gift. This book hit home when you think you have had a bad day - was it life or death? Then a reminder it could be worse. Keep your cup grateful you have ONE to fill up (not half full or half empty but a place to start).
Book 2 Troy shifter and Dens second in command and Elliot a warlock Rain & Erik brother. This is a great book to honor and be true to yourself is the best gift. To learn your lessons from past mistakes and to not repeat them.
Book 3 Ryker is a park ranger and a shifter & meets warlock and Arik's twin. The worry is Rain disappears upon meeting. This is the best reminder not to " assume" but to communicate to protect the heart & head from spinning.
Book 4 Grayson and Hai both shifters and both working as rangers. This story is standing up for your beliefs or see out dated and hateful beliefs threaten a future. Self confidence is something most have to work to accomplish.
Book 5 Deputy Gage shifter and Linus a young shifter that lost his entire family and has an injuries mate trying to give space. This is a great book for knowing family may be 1 or more but living and planning future is important but living in moment helps to heal the heart!
Book 6 Jules shifter+ and Orin shifter and War the Alpha brother. Orin didn't want to wait for a fated mate but had unrequited love. A year returns to pack and a lost pack seeking sanctuary brings a treasure. This is the best story for perseverance and never to give up.
Would have like a story for Brice shifter and Attic us a human - can't wait til their story?
MM romance with shifter with some variety I liked.
To my ratings: A 3,5* is clicked with a 4* but in review marked as 3,5*:
5* - very very good and rare (it would be a Blow-Away-book like ‘Jesse's Smile’ or ‘Joey’ from Angelique Jurd, ‘Save the the kids’ series from EM Leya, ‘Love’s Tethered Heart’ from C.L. Etta or ‘Liberty’ from Seth King), it's like an A+
4* - very good and will be often reread and is a WOW-book with interesting plot and surprises (like most of Andrew Grey books and Davidson Kings 'Haven Hart'-series) it's like an A
3,5* - a really good book, which will be reread a few times (most romances where you can enjoy for relaxing and during waiting times in hospitals). I can recommend them definitively! It's like an B+
3* - it could be more then a one-time-reader (2-3 times a year), it's like a B
2* - it was ok to read, but it's more a one-time-reader (I wouldn't recommend it heartily, but it was ok) It's like a C-, D
1* - sorry, but that isn't really a book for me (too many mistakes, not nice plot, illogical, so an absolute NO-GO). It's like failure in the whole line, dismissed, repeat the class
I won't go over the blurb as you can read in the description. 🧐🤔 𝙃𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙮 𝘾𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙠 𝘿𝙚𝙣 𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨 1. Wars Mate - War & Arik 2. Troys Warlock - Troy & Elliot 3. Rykers Enchantment - Ryker & Arin 4. Graysons Enlightenment - Grayson & Jai 5. Gages Serenity 6. Jules Sanctuary

Your fated mate is an older panda. What's a young alpha polar bear to do?
Welcome back to the World of the Honey Creek Den. I am in love with this series! The characters pulled me into their lives. I am fully invested in their world. This part of the continuing story is funny, tragic, romantic, steamy. There are pregnancies galore, Edison's horrid tea, families, and a deranged alpha. You are going to love this book! Jai has been waiting for his mate for so long. When the new, very young alpha ranger retorts for duty, Jai can't believe his luck. His panda screams Mate, Mine! Now all he has to do is get Grayson to accept him. Their road to HEA has ups & downs. An old enemy shows up wrecking havoc. Families show up at inopportune times. Friends stand fast. Babies abound. The next book will continue the saga. I can't wait to read it. Do yourself a favor: read the first books in order. Time well spent. This book contains adult themes and language, mm sex and is intended for mature readers only.

Grayson is a young Alpha Polar Bear Shifter who is starting out. Jai is an older Omega Panda shifter who has a big beautiful home but lacked the mate and Cuba to fill it with. Fate seems set to change that when the two shifters scent one another and recognize that they are rated mates. Being young, Grayson stumbles a bit in courting and mating Jai... But fate knows what's it's doing so as long as these two trust in fate and their hearts, their Happily Ever After shall follow. Great addition to the Honey Creek Den series, this book is sweet, funny and sexy. Definitely recommended read.
Jai and Grayson were so very cute together. I thought that Grayson's concerns before they mated felt very realistic, especially with Ivan's fears and insecurities as an example growing up. I was also glad that we got more insight into Ivan and Sam's mating and the tragedy that their family endured at the hands of Alpha Hank.
I would have liked to have understood more about Hank and his motives. It seemed odd that we never really saw anything from Hank's gang - were they believers in Hank's crazy? or were they just too scared to stand up to him?
This was a good story. Well written with a few typos.
I thought the concept was an interesting idea but I felt like it was too surface level. What would happen in you had a really young alpha and an older omega? I'm not completely sure it would go as smooth as this book let on.
There was a small storyline with this book about that attacking alpha Hank but I felt like this book mostly focused on the mating, pregnancy, and baby storyline.
I will read the rest of this series but I wouldn't re-read this book.
Hmm. This was still good but I feel like we are falling back into a more stilted formal dialogue again. I enjoy the stories and the overall story arc of the series but the dialogue is definitely the hardest for me to get into. It just doesn’t seem genuine.
I’m also thinking I might skip the next in the series. I admit I was curious about Gage but Linus just seems so young....
The next after is Jules and Orin and I’ve been waiting for Orin’s story!
The fourth Honey Creek Den book offers a very young alpha mating with a much older omega. With Grayson's less than stellar upbringing, he alpha father was distant, the young alpha has lots of questions and insecurities. Luckily there's a den of bears, tigers and warlocks to help him. Jai's panda omega is a sweet, steady foil for his alpha. The beatdown on Hank, the rogue alpha from Alaska finally comes in this book. Best of the series.
Oh how I love this series!! I loved every so for one but this one was simply wonderful. I loved Jai since we first met him and I am so happy he got his HEA. #TeamPanda all the way. That said I am now a firm loved of #TeamBabyAlpha too. Lol. I do can not wait for the next book. Keep up the awesome writing. ^.^
We have more excitement and a panda bear. We also learn a lot more about the past while having to deal with more danger. And more babies yay!!! It's a good thing there is a lot of land and homes in Honey Creek. I have to say that so far Jai is the toughest of the one has that have had babies. Man I would have loved to have had Ellison or Elliot around when I had mine.
Emotional very emotional story! Have read these back to back, after rereading War, and the storys krrp getting better (or just as good in different ways) the bits of danger keep anticipation up, the live and strength of all the den. I was glad to see Ivan and Sam's kind of mini story because I felt their story wasnt over yet, and it wasn't. Really good
What can you say about this wonderful book, this Author will keep you turning those pages! Definitely a must read, there was so much excitement, drama, fun and a beautiful love story! I absolutely loved it, so many thanks, Honey Bee 🐝📚💙🎶
This book has more drama than the others. Grayson (Alpha, polar bear) and Jai (omega, panda) are the two MCs. A lot of the drama can be attributed to how Grayson was raised. So a lot of growing up to do for Grayson. At least Grayson was willing to learn/grow into a better Alpha than his father Ivan.
Omg, my favorite scene was when Grayson met Jai’s parents for the first time. HILARIOUS! Another fun read.
I loved this story; it was interest read about the omega being older than his Alpha. It made this book such an interesting read. I loved how everyone could give Grayson advice, and he actually listened. I loved that Ryker parents showed back up in this book as well. Such a wonderful romance with a bit of action and witty moments.
These books are so enjoyable, when I read book 1 I also want to read book 2 and so on because the stories continue. These books makes your imagination runs while, it make me wonder what if these really happen. It would have been so cool. Imagine a man having a baby. Just awesome.
Grayson and Jai’s story is an emotional roller coaster that will have you crying buckets of tears. Tears of laughter, joy and sorrow. Another amazing story by Taylor Rylan. Can’t wait to read the next one in this series.
Grayson is so much younger than his fated mate, but Jai doesn't mind. A young, strong Alpha is perfect for the older Omega. With the subplot with Hank and his crew coming to a head, the story was good. Another worthy read!
