I really like Sonny and Gia, but I am disappointed in their book. I felt like I got the outline of a book idea and not a fully fleshed book. So much potential that wasn't realized.

*****SPOILER*****
Reading it, I felt like I was dumped mid way through Sonny and Gia's relationship. I never got to really see them interact and fall for each other. Once I realized I was supposed to assume that they were made for each other I really got into the plot and then BOOM! they found the kids, then BOOM Sonny and Gia are together in the epilogue, Sonny has the kids and I have no clue how the process it took to get them or how the kids adjusted to life with Sonny.

I love the Devil’s Wind MC, the guy’s are tough of course but they care a lot about others and do good for the community.
When Sonny first meets Gia he finally thinks he’s ready to take a chance and ask her out and could possibly love again, he’d previously been badly burned and promised himself to never get into that situation again. She likes him alright but isn’t ready to begin a relationship, but when her job location puts her in danger, Sonny offers her a job with in the club...not as a club girl, but to work in his office. The offer is to good to turn down but it’s another stumbling block to keep them apart...employees and boss hookups never work.
Loved how Sonny and Gia got together, they were both determined. The kicker though were the three young kids, I found this part of the story heartbreaking on many levels, tissues are definitely needed.
Wonderful, sensitively written but still has punch with added steamy love scenes and great dialogue from other wives and brothers. Loved it. A definite must read!

There are days that I don't want to get out of bed and just be left alone in the dark to think about things or simply to relax not wanting anyone to bother me. But when I know that I have a new book ready to devour I just want to start it right away. And if it's an MC book I'll be on cloud nine, that's for sure.
D. D. Galvani has given me 2 books to read so far and getting a new one can be amazing. Besides, it's a series that I'm really loving and can't get enough.
D. D. Galvani is the bomb. Her writing is raw and intense, wild and addictive, simple and super detailed.
Sonny's Surrender is her latest release and it's the third book from the Devil's Wind MC series and what a series this has been.
Before I tell you a little bit more about this book I need to tell you something. I totally recommend you to read the first two books and then this one. Despite all books are standalones you should read all to understand the characters beginnings.
This book tells the stories of Sonny and Gia.
Sonny due to past experiences swore love out but sometimes we can't ignore what our heart wants so when the stunning Gia walks crosses his path he knows what he wants...
He hides a secret that keeps hurting his heart but things can change...
Gia has her heart in the right place and when she step up to help a friend she got friends and protectors for life by the Devil's MC.
She's not immune to the stunning Sonny but there are things that can't be forgotten.
And now these two crossed paths and...
Dayum this book just nailed it. It was intense, breathtaking with so much meaning between each chapter. Once I started it I couldn't put it down and I was beyond excited to read it.
The plot is superb, very well written, super engaging and powerful. Each scene was described in every tiny detail and that made me fall in love with all.
The interation between the characters is beautiful despite all the trouble surrounding them.
It was amazing to have news from the other characters from this series.
And now it's over and I want more.
Please DD... Give me more, but soon because I can't handle the waiting.

I don't think this is a MC book as much as it's an MC-lite book. It doesn't have issues with the club the way that most MC books do, and is, in my opinion, lighter than most. That doesn't ruin my enjoyment of the book, but it's important to note, for those who do like heavier or darker MC books. I do too, but I can do both.

Gia is a friend to the Devil's Wind MC. After she helped to save one of their members, they are all willing to help her and all have her back. Sonny wants to have more than just her back. He's drawn to her in all kinds of ways, and he will always be there for her. When she calls from her job at the local convenience store because some punk kids are trying to start something, he rushes over to help her. When he tells her that he hates her working the overnight shift at the stop and rob, he lets her know that there is a job as the secretary at the club.

Sonny wants Gia, but he's also hiding a secret. He has a son. The mother of his son only let him hold him once before she disappeared, taking his baby with her, 5 years before. He's kept it hidden from his MC brothers because he was in a dark and terrible place while it was happening, but decided to get himself clean as soon as he saw his son. Five years later, he's still looking, and still keeping himself out of the same kind of trouble.

While I overall enjoyed the book, I didn't particularly like Sonny's reaction to Gia at one point. He jumped without looking and it really upset Gia. I understand why it upset her, I would've had the same reaction as she did and probably wouldn't have been as forgiving about it as she was.

I Voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book

So this series is always like Yeah one book and then No the next one. This one was just okay for me. Felt like it ended in the middle of nowhere.

Gia and Santina have an attraction between them. And because of where Gia works, which is not a safe environment Santina gets her a job at the club doing admin work. Things are going well for them, but Santino is looking for his son. His ex took his son and just disappeared and he has been looking for him for 5years. When they go to the town fair Gia gets her wallet stolen by some kids and low and behold the boy travelling with these group of kids is Santino's son.

From here the story, went a bit weird for me. Santino finally found his son, and getting the information on how his son ended up with a group of people who use kids to steal from people. And then its like him and Gia's relationship just sort of went on from there. Which to me I thought they had some issues to sort out. But it's like Santino found his son and they all lived happily ever after. For me that was not a good ending. The story had a lot of potential to be so good, but i felt with the way it ended after he found his son, it just fell flat for me.

While this was a really quick read, this new story by D.D. Galvani packs a lot in its pages.

This story started off really interesting and exciting and didn't let up. I had a moment in the beginning where I felt like I was missing something because Sonny and Gia had already met and established a connection. But that feeling quickly faded as the story kept moving along and I got caught up in it. The relationship between these two main characters definitely heated up and provided for some emotional as well as very steamy scenes.

While this is an MC story, it isn't one that paints them in a negative or criminal light. I enjoyed that just as much as I enjoy the other kind, but it's nice to get that change every now and then.

This story was very fast paced and full of great characters, maddening moments and moments of pure joy. I thought it was a good addition to the series. I also hope the series has more books coming.

Very good

Wow. This story by D.D. Galvani touched me right in the feels.
I could totally relate to this story 100% . It hit very close to home. As a single foster parent my self i know how hard it can be to raise someone else's child and hope that you give them enough love and stability to help them deal with the circumstances that are totally out of their control.
Sonny new he had a son out there and for years had done everything with in his power to track him down.
Little did he know that his world was just about to be turned upside down when one night at the local fare three little kids would knock his socks off .
They weren't related by blood but petey
And the 2 girls were family they looked out for one another .

Living with a vial evil woman who made the children steal lie and cheat on a daily basis, Maria and Sarah would protect petey as much as they could even take his punishments . Maria was beaten so badly that she had to be hospitalized. It took time and patience on everyone's behalf to get the kids to trust Gia and Sunny
And eventually the book ended in a happily ever after for sunny and the children. I loved how Gia stepped up and helped Sonny, being in the foster system her self Gia new what the kids had had to deal with and she didnt want that for the three kids so she stepped up along with his Devil wind brother's and helped Sonny raise these kids keeping them together and becoming a father to them , one in which they had never known before .
I would have liked the " momma" to have gotten her just desserts people like her she be locked up and never heard from again .
I really liked this story i liked how Gia new what she wanted and wasnt afraid to speak her mind to Sonny .
I love how D.D. created the women characters with strength pursavearence and determination and yet they loved you with every fiber of there big beautiful hearts. I cant wait to read more. As i said in a previous review this series is the first ive read of author D.D. Galvani and ive loved each and every book so far.

Oh do I ever love me some Sonny. Every woman should have a guy like him in their lives. Ms Galvani has written another fantastic addition to the Devil’s Wind MC Series. I honestly wasn’t sure it could get any better but somehow it does with each addition she writes. The storylines always seem to pack a punch and the characters couldn’t get any more realistic and loveable. As the title suggests, this is Sonny’s story, and boy does he have a story to tell. From his past which he is still dealing with to his future which takes on a pretty enormous turn from what he expected.

Sunny is a big guy with a temper that he does his best to get in check. But trust me when I say he’s a big ole teddy bear on the inside at least for those he considers his. From the girls at the club to his woman, he takes the weight of their problems on his shoulders and does everything he can to take care of them (basically he overprotects what he considers “his”). And that woman I just mentioned, is Gia (yep, the same one that saved Breech). Gia is a great gal that has no problem standing up for herself and that includes going toe to toe with Sonny. Trust me when I say she can give as good as she gets.

These two have a great chemistry and they know it. But trouble comes when Gia finds out about Sonny’s son that was stolen out from under him when he was born. These two will go on one very wild and unexpected ride and it’s one you don’t want to miss. I highly recommend reading Sonny’s story and following along with the good, the bad, the hot and the crazy that is about to come their way. A Huge 5 Stars for Sonny's Surrender and I wish to say Kudos to Ms. Galvani for a phenomenal job writing not only Sonny's story but this great MC series as well. I highly recommend grabbing up the series now… you won’t regret it.

D.D. Galvani has once again outdone herself with Sonny’s Surrender! This book pulled me in at the start and just kept getting better and better with every page I read. Surprising me with an even deeper and moving story than I saw coming and being nothing like I expected I was wowed by every bit of it! A sweet and sexy biker that’s still all alpha and a woman who’s survived more than her fair share of heartbreak come together with a romance that will sweep you off your feet! Throw in a surprising twist that hits you right in the feels and Sonny’s Surrender becomes one of my new favorite MC reads!
Gia was someone I already really liked from the previous book. She showed the incredible woman she was when she decided to protect a stranger against all odds, I loved her for that then, and I love her even more now after learning all she’s overcome and still she became someone I’d be proud to know in real life. The romance she has with Sonny quickly swept me off my feet right from the start.
Sonny, like all the men of his club, may have one tough exterior but his heart is something beautiful. Fiercely protective and loyal while still being gentle and sweet when it comes to those he cares about. I fell hard and fast for him! When a shocking surprise from his past comes up out of nowhere it takes his and Gia’s story to a whole new level of awesome and made this a book I couldn’t put down!

I'm completely in love with the Devil's Wind MC, where the men are hot alphas, and the women are hilariously sassy. Sonny's Surrender is Sonny's (I bet you guessed that already), and Gia's story. It was a fast paced, and yet super exciting one that didn't allow for me to hardly catch my breath. See Sonny has had a thing for Gia for a while, and yeah, Gia feels that attraction, but just hasn't really acted on it. And when he offers her a new job that's a bit safer than her current job, she tells him that she can't sleep with the boss. However, with chemistry like they have, that doesn't last long, and they are lighting the sheets on fire, because crazy alpha bikers tend to find the perfect women to settle down with after they get their heads out of their a**es. So as they get to know each other better, there's all kinds of twists that come out of nowhere, so I'm trying to figure things out in between my f-bombs raining down. Yeah the twists aren't ones that you would ever see coming, but they are perfect to the story, not to mention had me emotional as well. There's the cast of secondaries from the MC, not to mention those amazing women from previous stories, that kept me laughing, and adding more depth the whole mix, so I will NEVER get enough of this club & their ladies. D.D. Galvani has written another amazingly emotional story in this awesome series that I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

This was one hot, sweet and rough ride. It's Sonny's story and it captivates you right from the very beginning. Sonny, a man with a temper who is sweet, sexy as all get out, and will do whatever it takes to help those who are close to him. But Sonny has been hiding a secret from his brothers and when Gia stumbles upon that secret, running face to face with the little boy who is the spitting image of his father, along with his two sisters, Sonny's world implodes. Now faced with having to tell his brothers what he has kept from them for five years, mistakenly accusing Gia for going behind his back and checking him out, things begin to waver in his personal life. Will the relationship that was building between them stand a chance now?

I adored Sonny and Gia. She is just the kind of woman he needs to balance his personality and he is just the man she needs to allow her independence and protect her all at the same time. Their story is emotional, hot and will have you pulling your hair out at times because..well...Sonny, act first and ask questions later kind of crap. After reading everything that Gia has been through in her past, I have huge respect for this woman. She is one strong woman, and it is that strength that allows her to forgive Sonny, although forgetting may be a different story altogether.

I think that out of the three books, this one is my favorite, and I so look forward to seeing what comes next with this MC. I highly recommend this book

It was an enjoyable read, but I felt like it was too short and could have been developed a bit more. Sonny's Surrender had great potential, but in my opinion fell a bit short of my expectations.

When I started reading Sonny's Surrender I was confused. I wasn't sure if Gia and Sonny started their relationship in the previous book or if it was just like that. I felt like the book just jumped into the relationship. There was no build up and suddenly they were dating. Then Gia found Sonny's child.

I just felt the story was too short and the author skimmed through the issues. Gia and Sonny were suddenly dating, then they found Sonny's child and then the book was over. It was an abrupt ending, and I didn't feel like everything was resolved or if it was I have no idea how it happened. We didn't find out how he was with his kid once they found him. They didn't explain how Gia and Sonny's relationship changed. The story ended and they were still just dating. I felt like nothing had changed at all.

Sonny's Surrender was an OK book. It was enjoyable, but there were several holes in the storyline and I felt there was no character development. I want to read the next book in the series, and give Galvani another try.

My kinda MC. You might call me "Pollyanna", still I like an MC that has a positive outlook. These guys are all alpha male, tatted and bearded, expert cursers, like their women, sex, yet still do some good for the community.

Sonny has a thing for Gia. She likes him, befriends him but isn't ready for a relationship--not that he isn't about the hottest guy she's ever seen. When his concern that she isn't safe working in a dangerous location for a lone woman comes true, he offers her a job with the club--not a club girl but in the office. One more reason to keep them apart--employee/boss--not good. How long will they hold out?

I love them both. They are a great couple and the other club wives are a kick. Put them together and the guys better watch out. When Gia finally gives in, a secret may just negate the progress. Then his lost son and two feisty, strong little girls push their way into his heart. Is that heart big enough to take them all in?

You'll see the best in him while he works through the worst with Gia by his side. Will he let her stay?

I have read the previous 2 books in this series and loved them. I had high expectations for this book and found that it didn't meet what I expected in my mind. That's ok. There is typically a book in every series that someone feels that way about and for me it was Sonny's book. It doesn't mean it isn't a good book. Sonny is the sweet alpha male that I was hoping for and Gia was the strong stubborn woman I love in books. Sonny has a child that no one in the MC knew about and Gia found out. Sonny and Gia have a quick argument and then move on. I felt like Sonny and Gia were good friends that happened to be sleeping together. The end of the book felt as if it was left open for another book or novella for Sonny and Gia. I just didn't feel the HEA. I hope in the next book we get a peak at where Sonny and Gia are in their relationship. I would really like to see them together and in love.

This book isn't one that you expect with most MCs. There is no war between clubs, it isn't dark and twisted. What you get with this story is one that will warm you heart. If you have been following this series then you be just as invested as getting as many characters story as you can too.

This story is sweet, beautiful, heartbreaking, heartwarming, funny, sexy and so much more. I loved Sonny and Gia's story and the journey they take. Gia is finally ready to give Sonny a chance but he has secrets and they are about to come barging into his life. Three kids who have been treated awful is about to test everyone. The MC because secrets are revealed, Sonny and Gia because how can a relationship so new be able to handle more?

This is definitely a series that I am always eager to get more of. I have loved each and every one and can't wait for more!

When sexy biker with a secretive past and a heart of gold has found the girl he can’t stop thinking about sparks are bound to fly. Sonny is a man with a past, some good, some bad but lots of it painful. Gia hasn’t had an easy life and carries her own emotional scars. These two characters are definitely hot for each other. Due to Sonny’s secret he has kept from everyone close to him a rift forms between him and Gia. It isn’t easily repaired and I like that the author doesn’t allow Gia to immediately let go of her concerns and throw herself back into Sonny’s arms. This story takes you through various emotions and issues in a realistic, and sometimes quick, manner. I enjoyed this book and the interaction between not only the couple but the rest of the Devil’s Wind brothers and the women they love.

Sonny's Surrender (Devil's Wind MC #3)
by DD Galvani

☆☆☆4 stars☆☆☆

LOVE this MC series by DD Galvani. It's not only chock full of HOT bikers, but it's a continuous story of love, life, and family ties.

Sonny is a man of mystery, one that Gigi wants to discover. They're chemistry is undeniable yet Gigi keeps him at a distance, at first, for many reasons. Sonny proceeds to break her walls down, and in the process, finds akip part of him that was missing. Sonny is a great man, and with a good woman by his side, he's in his element.

The brothers of the Devil's Wind MC are as tight as they come, and family and loyalty are everything. I love how they take care of their own, and when one's in trouble, they rally to help. That's what it's all about, and in the end, it's all that matters!

This book has a sweet message mixed in with a bit of naughty and nummy (wink wink). Perfect MC love story where you get a guy who is part bad boy but then isn’t afraid to step up to defend the young and innocent either. Sonny is a great hero who represents all that I love in a MC character. Gia is an awesome heroine who brings her own spice and heart to this story. Ugh when you add the sweet young characters and what they had to endure, well it tugs on the heartstrings, making this story a win win for me. Love experiencing the making of a family. Great read with maybe a smidge of cheesy that makes me love it even more. Definitely a beautiful addition to the Devil’s Wind MC Series. Happy Reading!

Sonny has been keeping a big secret from his club brothers... he has a son. He’s been burned by his ex and doesn’t want to take the chance of giving his heart away again. That all changes when Gia saves Sonny’s club brother- he thinks he might take a chance. When Sonny hires Gia, the woman he has been crushing on, to be his office manager she stumbles upon where he has been hiring a PI to look for his son. She lets it slip, Sonny having a son, and he accuses her of spying on him. He blows up at her and the readers are left feeling like their love story is over before it really began. In the end she forgives Sonny but she doesn’t forget.

She comes face-to-face with a mini version of Sonny at the fair and his two “sisters”. Sonny is forced to tell his club brothers the secret he has been hiding. Will his club brothers be able to forgive and forget? What does that mean for his and Gia’s new relationship?

So this is the third book in the Devil's Wind MC series and starts shortly after where Breech and Jiji's story ended. If you haven't read Breech and Jiji's story I suggest going back and reading that one as you may be confused as to who Gia is.

I really liked Gia and Sonny together. I thought that they worked well together. I liked that even though that Sonny had an over reaction to Gia finding out his secret that they could work through it together.

I thought that this was an enjoyable read. This book was definitely on the lighter side of most MC books. There was definitely some hottness in this book. Also the kids in this book were adorable.

I'm giving this book 4 Stars out of 5!!!!

This is the third book in this awesome series, and is Sonny and Gia’s story. These two have an intense attraction, but neither will admit to this, and when Gia accepts a job with the club things change. When Gia gets her wallet stolen by children, she is shocked that she recognises the features of the boy. Will Sonny overcome past mistakes and step up to the plate? Is this the end of Gia and Sonny? No spoilers; this is a must read, you will not be disappointed! This is a well written and wonderful story, which had me hooked and intrigued throughout, and I cannot wait to read more in this phenomenal series. I highly recommend this talented authors’ work for all readers.

Sonny's Surrender is quite a fast paced story as Sonny tries to adapt to all the changes in his life; Gia starting a relationship with him, finding his long lost child, and disclosing it all to his club after keeping it a secret for so long. Will the brothers still have his back when they realise he has been hiding things from them?

I think the author is still finding her feet with this series, as there are times it is still a little bit jerky in the writing but I see good things coming from her in the future. A very enjoyable read, I give Sonny's Surrender 4 stars.

Good read

I've read all the books in this series and they were all good but my only complaint was that instead of feeling like books to me they seemed like short novellas. We first met Gia in Breech's book and you can almost see the sparks fly between her and Sonny. I was hoping we would see more of how their relationship grew rather and have the storyline drawn out rather than just automatically time jumping ahead and finding out they got their happily ever after. The whole overall plot was great but to me it felt rushed. Still a good story and series and I would to read more.

This books is fantastic. Sonny and Gia dance around each other until they both realize it’s no use. She takes a job with the club and they settle into a quick routine. The fair in town proves to be more than it is when she gets her wallet stolen by children. This turns both of their worlds upside down. The children need stability and a family. Can Sonny see past his mistakes to take this on? Will Gia stick around? This book will leave your heart full of emotion and love. Excellent writing 😀😀

Sonny’s Surrender is book three in the Devil Wind MC Series, although it can be read as a standalone I recommend starting at the beginning.

Sonny’s Surrender is Sonny and Gia’s story, a story line filled with love, family and hope.

A chance encounter leads Sonny to the one thing he has been searching for, for years. Will this finally close an old wound or will there be more questions than answers??

If you love dirty talking alphas with a soft side, and a positive outlook on MC life then D.D. Galvani’s writing will appeal to you with this series.

Gia works at an unsafe store when Sonny convinces her to take a job with the MC instead. All they have to work out is their extreme attraction to one another. Just when it looks like things are going great his kid that he had been searching for and some other surprises fall in their laps. It was fun to follow these bad bikers deal with this stuff in a remarkably sweet manner. Nice ending as well. If you are in the mood for a great MC romance novel then try this one. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.

I absolutely loved this book. It was everything I hoped for and more. There was some great surprises as well. I had so much emotion reading, and couldn't put it down.

I loved Sonny, he is caring, loyal and knows what he wants. He never gives up when he puts his mind to something.

I loved Gia, she is independent, sweet and caring. She may of had a rough life, but she won't let that get her down.

I can't wait for more. I recommend this series. Wtmo

This is the first time in reading this author with my attention going to her because of the MC in her story. Even though I am waning on the genre this one tempted me. Sonny has quite the story in this one with one thing after another. When he finally meets Gia it really starts cooking with us along with it. The size of a heart is also displayed in this with yours melting at times. The layers that are peeled in this and the story that unfolds captures you from beginning to end.

I have read and loved all the books in the Devil’s Wind MC series and Sonny’s Surrender is no exception. Sonny and Gia’s story is a beautifully written story about second chances and what it can mean to open yourself up to what you never thought you would. Grab your copy and fall in love with this series.
