Kaos and Kaori
I didn't know who was the biggest bitch out of Marlaine, Monty or Smooth. Marlaine was so bent on thinking she deserved anything that she failed to realize what's bound to happen to her. Monty didn't deserve Li-Li and I wish things could've turned out differently for her but that's the price one pays for dealing with a sorry dude. I'm curious to know where Smooth has been fire so long and the thoughts running through Brent's mind. Kaos knows what he wants and I was hoping things would go further between him and Kaori. Kaori needed to allow herself to experience some happiness. I can only imagine what will go through Kaori and Li-Li's mind after that ending. Things are crazy and heating up but hopefully everyone is prepared for what's to come next. #143

OK so this was a pretty good read… There was a lot of drama going on in here… So much lies, crazyness and triflin family members... I just couldn't get enough… This book definitely read at a nice steady pace… I really enjoyed the story line overall...
I liked Kaori (aka Ri).. She was smart and had a good head on her shoulders... She just kept getting delt the short end of the stick... For some reason she is Wifey material yet the men in her life just can't seem to make sure she was treated as such... She is different then all the other Thots throwing themselves at these kingpins... This is not the type of man she wants but for some reason this is the type of men she pulls in... One big heartbreak from Smooth and she has shut herself off from the world... She just focuses on her writing...
Now her sister Ka'Liyah (aka Li) is the opposite of her... she is about that party life... Yet she is with a name named Monty... He has a problem being faithful... He loves her and does not want to lose her but he just can't be faithful no matter what... However, she just keeps taking him back... So this has set up the pattern for their relationship... But as they say every woman has a breaking point...
Then we have this cousin of theirs maimed Marlaine... This girl right here is just to much... She causes problems everywhere she goes... She is always adding ingredients and stirring the pot... All of this to try to catch her a man… Yet these man keep telling her over and over that she is not wifey material... Yet no matter what she keep pushing herself off on these men… For some weird reason they keep getting caught in her Web of lies and deceit… Unfortunately her cousins men are not off limits either… she has no type of faithfulness not even to family…
I could not stand Marlaine... She was able to get between not one but two of her cousins relationships and she still has nothing to show for it...
Wait a minute... Now see what Monty has done... All because he could not be faithful... Now Li has to deal with this... How did he not think that this would happen... Not only that but because of Monty's actions his brother Kaos is about to lose the woman that he loves... Yes Kaos and Kaori were starting to build something finally... However, all because of Monty and his mess ups... This just may not happen...
OMG... Wait a minute... I can't believe this... All because of Marlaine's jealousy and Monty's unfaithfulness Kaori and Li's mama is in this situation... Got me all in my feelings right now... Now I need to know what happens in part to please bring part to ASAP...

What just happened? I thought this was going to be the typical good girl meets bad boy read but it wasn't. The story was dumb for the most part, Montrell letting them walk up on him and getting caught like that was silly. The author made it even more silly with her being placed into Kendall's care. Why would she need to do that and where they do that at? They didn't have to take her in and could've been done with her soon after, the author using this as the bases for the story was boring. The only thing that brought me in was the reality of what's going on in the streets with HIV and hopefully the author will push that topic and not let it be a hoax or mistake. I'll be reading the next one because I really want Marlene to be on the receiving end of a nice little std, she deserves it with the way she's moving, then again her new and old fling deserve it just as much seeing as no one has strapped up yet with her.

I usually write a review, well I try too with every book even if I don't like the book ....but this book was too ANIMATED !
It didn't do anything for me and it felt like it was all over the place 😒 I understand this is fiction smh, but to me this was TOO over the top. Ok,stuff was happening to fast.... what kind of punishment would be letting a female you got caught with stay with you? Then to invite her to dinner ummmm.....oh lay lol it just seem to unrealist8c, over the top, king pins that seem like college preps.😥 I don't know ..i couldn't get through it without skipping .I'm sorry to say i can not read part 2 or 3. But like I said I HATE writing bad reviews ,but this doesn't hinder me from reading the authors work in the future.THIS one just wasn't it for me🤷♀️

Very good from the beginning to the end I didn’t want to put it down. Every which way you turned there was drama and Monty was the cause of of it. Poor Li-Li I I felt so bad for her because she loved someone that obviously didn’t love her like she wanted. Otherwise she wouldn’t be walking around with something she can’t get rid of now. I understand Ri’s position but you have to let that hurt go boo and move on. I like Kaos for her because she could tame the beast in him. But with all that’s going on will they be able to get past the lies and hurt to build something special? Can’t wait to read part 2 I know it’s going to be just as good.

Really enjoyed this book and the storyline. It moved at a nice and steady pace. Full of drama, lies, cheating and secrets that made it a good read. Like where Kaos and Kaori were going and how the relationship was blossoming. Monty is selfish and only thinking of himself and with the wrong head. Poor Ka'Layiah don't deserve the hand she dealt, cause of loving the wrong kind of boy.. wanting to be a man. Too many trifling and scandalous women, looking for the come up. Now, after that ending I can't wait to see what happens next. Good job Mesha Mesh.

this is my first book by this author and I don't like Marlaine ass at all.... Monte he just need help all this stuff he got going on is really crazy then trying to kill his brother and going off on Kaori is a no no... I actually love Kaos and Kaori together... Now li-li is HIV positive because she was in love with a fuck nigga I was really hoping they got back together but seeing the way Monte acting she need a real one on her team and it's either gone be shooter or the other guy...

The drama!!!
If you reading a book by Mesha you already know she is going to take you for a ride. I was really rooting for Monty and LiLi but then things just went ALL the way left. I like Kaori but lawd she needs to come out her shell some. Kaos is perfect for her but I'm not so sure she will give him a real chance. Their trifling cousin needs to be dealt with and quickly. I have never seen one person cause so much drama smh. She is clearly delusional and needs some professional help. I'm anxious to see what goes down in part 2.

I knew Monty was a dog but I never expected him to be out there doing it like that!!!! Ka'Liyah didn't have a chance loving a man that meant her no good. Kaos and Kaori where meant for each other. Kaos fell in love but his past is going to ruin his future once Kaori finds out he done something unforgivable. Monty is way too selfish for my liking, he’s behaving like a spoiled child.Ka’Liyah she’s got a lot to deal with I just hope that she’s able to turn her negative into a positive. Marlaine she’s just looking for love but going about receiving it the wrong way.Now with Kaos and Kaori I’m not sure what’s going to become of them once she finds out about his past.....

I regret I kept putting this book on the back burner. I done had laughter and tears from reading this book. I loved all the character except the LiLi and Riri cousin. I was hoping things would be gotten better for Lili. I'm hoping Riri let Kendal in. I was really wanted Monty to make a turn but hey this book is literally life lessons women go through either secretly or openly. I'm go ahead start this other installments.

I usually like Mesha Mesh(s) books... Not so much this one. The characters were not that interesting, and there is entirely too much stupid stuff going on. Marlaine, yes she is a hot cup of puke. Monty, is a whole little boy. Kaori is kinda stuck up, and Khaliah was a entire fool, for knowingly allowing her so called man, run around on her, and now look at the both of them HIV positive.

This book started out so good. It was well written and could of gone far. The title was sooook misleading. This book should of been called the LiLi and Monty story. Everything revolves around their relationship. Had it been aptly names then I would of been cool. I know more about the co characters then I do of the main ones.

I just don't know what to feel. I am utterly speechless. How you came up with this I have no clue. But its deeper than A hood story. You touched on some real life issues that are not usually touched on in books. You reminded me of why I became a writer. I write to make people think. This one definitely has me in my head. Mesha please get rid of Marlaine she’s trash I understand that she has demons but enough is enough! I hope that Kaos and Ms Kerri are okay. I need more from Brent aka White Chocolate what’s his story besides being on Kaos payroll.

Mesha Mesh you definitely left us hanging with this one. I don't see this ending good at all. I hate Marlaine but I got a feeling she's gonna get hers. Monty is so stupid and selfish and I feel so sorry for Li-Li. Can't wait to see how this plays out after they find out what Kaos did.
