While I consider myself a voracious bookworm who reads all written word—no matter its content, form, or genre so long as it appeals to me—I have to admit THIS book was nothing like I've EVER come across before. I can't honestly say it could fit comfortably into any genre. It is just that unique. I don't really want to say much about the story because I hate when someone spoils it for me. But I will share a few general aspects.

First and foremost, Mr. Maxwell is fast becoming one of my very favorite authors of all time. Second, very imminently this story could one day be ripped from National, or even International headlines. Third, if you appreciate thorough research, while learning a thing or two (at least), then pick this up.  And the amount of descriptive action—WOW! Last but not least, you've got to check out the "Secret Link To FREE Special Features" in the back of the book.

If you haven't read any of the four previous books in the 'State Of Reason' series—of which both the prequel 'Drone', and 'Die By The Pen' are part of—while it isn't absolutely necessary, it does help with making certain connections within the overall story. There's going to be a next book in the series and it looks . . . well, you'll just have to see for yourself.

I can't end my review without sharing just one of my favorite quotes from 'Finding Reason': "Learn something new, replace something old, and decide on why the new could be better."

Makes you think!

It certainly made me think. I’m really glad that this piece of fiction isn’t my reality. It so easily could be. Greed, religious battles and deviant behaviour are in our world right now, and where is Franklin and his family and friends to help us? Seriously though, this is one very realistic story, from start to... wait! We haven’t reached the end yet. I hope the next one gets here soon because that cliffhanger is a doozy!!!

Another cliffhanger.

How many parts does this godamn story have? Additional books in this series should be free. Too many characters to keep track of, but eventually most of them are killed off. Very gory. Explicit sex.

The third book in the series. Franklin uses his radio station to gather information about the attacks. In doing so, he becomes a target.
