kindle unllimited, another captivating history book to look at in direct relation to this one would be Trail of Tears: A Captivating Guide to the Forced Removals of Cherokee, Muscogee Creek, Seminole, Chickasaw, and Choctaw Nations -- Andrew Jackson was known as 'Indian Killer' for a reason, and I do care if the world is {supposedly} more pc or aware than they were in years past.

A great introduction to President Andrew Jackson.

I really enjoyed reading this book on President Andrew Jackson. I really enjoy reading books about American history. My favorite history books are about our American presidents and First Ladies.

I was surprised by the fact that he was shot in a duel, he lived the rest of his life with a bullet from that duel in his body, he was defeated in the presidential election of 1824 even though he had won the popular vote, he ran again for president and was elected in 1828, he married his wife before she was legally divorced from her husband, he was heartbroken when she passed away as he had not yet taken the presidential oath and he founded the Democratic Party.

If this brief description intrigues you then I urge you to purchase this book to read about the above and many other things not mentioned in this review.
