Hellion Club #4

His Savior

Rate this book
An omega bartender, working his way through college. A rookie lawyer, crusading to save everyone he can. Sparks fly from the moment they meet. When one resurrects an old tradition, will he keep “his” omega safe or ruin everything that they’ve built?

Greg is a bartender at the Hellion Club. Sure, it’s got its seedier side, but the pay is better than anything else he could get right now, the hours are flexible, and his sex life has never been better. Some people look down on what he does, but Greg doesn’t care. He’s not looking for forever right now anyway. He has big plans for the future, and he needs to stay focused if he wants to achieve them.

Ryan is a Hellion Club legacy. His family has belonged to the Club for generations. Ryan finds the whole thing repulsive, but his father buys him a lifetime membership without his consent. Ryan meets Greg on his initiation night, and he can’t get the beautiful bartender out of his head.

Ryan thinks the way omegas are treated at the Hellion Club is disgusting, so he revives an old Hellion Club tradition. He asks Greg to sign a “contract” with him, in order to protect Greg from the attentions of other Club members.

Not everyone is on board with this scheme. Ryan’s alpha family members are furious that he would come so close to blurring a line. His omega family members are horrified that he would associate with someone they consider to be little better than a prostitute. And Ryan soon realizes that Greg might not be the one who needs saving after all.

I received this book as a free ARC from the author in return for a fair and honest review.

Ok... I LOVED this book... despite that at around 64% done I vowed in an update to not give it more than 4 stars because I believed that the author totally destroyed one of the main characters after he had done an amazing job of creating him. He had me convinced of this character's integrity and goodness, then he had that character do something that I thought was not part of who he was. I still don't necessarily think that he would have acted as he did in the book, however I do realize that it was the author's perogative to have him to do what he wanted. I will agree that I get why the author thought it was ok to have his character react the way he did, I just believe that the character's nature would have overruled the evil nurture that he had grown up with. What I have decided is that this book deserves 4.5 stars rounded up to 5. My reasons for that are that while I don't agree with the author's choice, the story he wrote was still near perfection. Ryan's family were terrifying in their "caveman" mentality, their total belief in their own perfection as well as their being untouchable no matter what they did. I loved seeing some of the other secondary characters from the previous book. I did feel that it was enlightening seeing a more sinister side of things at the Hellion Club, and am glad to see that by the end steps were being taken to eliminate that. There were parts of this book that I had trouble reading due to some similarities with some things in my own past. However, I thought that the author did a pretty good job of dealing with the whole sex for tips and the contract part. However I did think that him having the Hellion Club act like the omegas had complete control when they chose to go upstairs with an alpha, they could say no to doing anything but once they said yes when by default any situation involving sex meant automatically that the alpha would assume he would be in control of what did or did not happen it is ludicrious to believe that the omegas would never be taken advantage of. Overall, I still loved this book and can't wait to read the first two as well as any forthcoming additions to this series.

I've read this author before. I listened to the audiobook. This is a mpreg story that was book 4 and set in USA. I did not need to read the other books to understand the story. The narrator was an Australian and not sure this made the story better. I'll read more from this author.

DNF ~40%. I thought that this would end up being one of my favourite books in the series, but it just sort of rubbed me the wrong way and wasn't an interesting read. I didn't like any of the characters... not Greg, not Ryan, not any member of Ryan's family. Ryan was all over the place - going from trying to 'save' Greg and being very righteous to forming an exclusivity contract. I'm also not a fan of sex work being made to see shameful & dirty... I don't really care if the opinion is that of the antagonist, main character, or the author's own opinion coming through - I'm just not a fan of it and don't want to read it.

Don't waste your time or money on this...

...unless you like reading about over-the-top physical and verbal abuse by not just the alpha in one family, but the birth dad as well, and how he supported and stood by as his own omega son was choked, then beaten so badly his arm, as well as the arm of his own granddaughter, was broken. The writer tried to show the cesspool this family had become, but turned it into a trite, ridiculous travesty by contradicting his characters' speech and behaviors and having them and others make overlong monologues instead of realistic conversations where the one getting attacked would interrupt or interject, not simply stand there.

It was horrible to read, and again, unrealistic in terms of response times, ethical/moral about-faces by contradicting Ryan's very righteous indignation on behalf of all the omegas to the blithering idiot he turns into when he is told his omega is pregnant. Not. Realistic. And. Ludicrous.

A word of warning. This book isn't for the squeamish of true reality. If there is anything I can say about Aiden Bates is that he isn't afraid to demonstrate what REAL LIFE is. If you want escapism with all its hearts and flowers, don't buy this book. (I still wonder about some of the less friendly reviews here. As if I wanted to read anything that totally avoids how stinky human behavior can be and usually is outside this country.)

Book Four of the Hellion Club omegaverse series (which is available in a box set, so I found out later. Get the box set. It’s cheaper. I’m still not happy about that…)

Unlike the Frat Boys Babies series, the connection between this book and its box set mates is the Hellion Club, a gentleman’s club for alphas to meet and greet and discuss business as well as other salacious activities if so desired. Being Book Four, we’re still seeing characters set up in previous books – which I find comforting because they are SO GOOD not to abandon – which only flesh out their personal profiles.

Omega Greg Modugno works at the Hellion’s Club and meets newly admitted Alpha Ryan Underwood, and fireworks go off like crazy! Ryan isn’t for one-night stands and would like to have the “boyfriend” experience therefore, he contracts Greg to be his “boyfriend” for a period of time which does give Greg extra cash, but Greg must be monogamous. Ryan doesn’t but he is contracted to protect Greg from other alphas (plus other things like STDs). This doesn’t sit well with his super-alpha father, his disgusting brother, and his abusive brother-in-law.

This novel addresses spousal abuse, relationship double standards, and whether or not omegas under contract are sex workers. Is Ryan living a double-standard, being a lawyer who’s prosecuted misbehaving pimps in order to liberate sex workers but having his own sex worker?

The characters involved are quite persuasive, and we’re not just talking one hero, one omega-in-distress, and one villain. There are plenty of characters involved – familiar and new – to enjoy in this book. I do enjoy how Aiden has them play and interweave amongst each other.

Do I have any problems with this book? The author is back to over-using the word “weird” again, but the high word count of “gross” is definitely giving “weird” a run for its money. Pul-lease! Not so many in the same paragraphs!! AUGH!

Aiden does need to google human embryology, though. You WILL see a hell of a lot more than a bunch of cells at eight weeks gestation. You’ll see a head, eyes, nose, mouth, arms, legs, heart, lungs… Check out the photos, Aiden. I’d have a talk to your editor because s/he really missed this.

If I had any problems with keeping into character, it would have to be Ryan. For being a lawyer, he certainly isn’t paying attention to what he says. In one sentence, he wants a paternity test rather than believe sequential pregnancy testing (required at the club) before and after contract signing, then he announces that he’ll sue for custody for his child. (Make up your mind, idiot! Where is that razor-sharp reflexes that lawyers are supposed to have!)

Still, the book’s plot line and subplots are compelling. Yeah, I’d read it again. (I’ve already done that, to be honest.) But get the box set.

The boys are back again!

Greg is an NYU student working the bar at the Hellion club to help put himself through college. Ryan Underwood comes from money but is a good guy who does public interest law to help people unlike his greedy lawyer father Bryce and brother Brendan. He is begrudgingly inducted into the Hellion club which he thinks is archaic and exploitative of omegas by Bryce and thinks Greg and the other omegas are being used even though Greg explained extensively to the contrary. After some soul searching Ryan meets up with Greg in one of the Hellion club plush suites and they spend the night together and talk of making it an exclusive contracted arrangement as Ryan doesn't want to share but Ryan's family think it's beneath him and let him know it and that Greg is nothing more than a whore and should know his place. Greg and Ryan decide to sign the contract anyway prepared by my most favorite Hellion member Keegan, dressed in a latex suit of course, what a legend. Ryan puts a collar on Greg which keeps away other Alphas unwanted attentions and denotes him as his. Things progress between the pair and Greg helps out with a very distressing event with Elliott , Ryan's nice omega brother. Ryan's family just keep getting more disgusting, Bryce threatening Greg and Ryan with demands and ultimatums, what a dick bag. Ryan packs up and leaves his family home to be with Greg, it was inevitable they would fall in love but then they get a big shock to go with it and Brendan starts manipulating Ryan and everything falls apart spectacularly leaving a catastrophic mess . That's it he's gonna die ! The pair have a long road to trust again and the Hellion club board kicks some ass and redeems themselves hopefully aiding poor Elliot too but not before Elliott's psycho husband looses his shit and tries to go all Ted Bundy on everyone, talk about nuttier than a fruit cake, but it doesn't stop Greg and Ryan committing to each other and giving Elliot his life back yay. Ty Cunningham saving everyone's bacon yet again and the Hellion club learn a few lessons they should have already known . Another excellent book, fantastic plots and storylines and characters and villains, can't wait for the next book, hint hint Keegan come on Aiden pleeeeease. I received a free advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is the 4th book in the Hellion Club series.

Omega Greg loves sex and makes no apologies for it. He found the perfect job at the Hellion Club as a bartender. He makes more there than any other job he can, the hours are flexible, which is perfect since he is working his way through college, and he gets to have all the sex he wants. There are people who look down at Greg for doing what he is doing, but he knows he won't be doing it forever and he has big plans for his future. He has no family support at all, so he has to do what needs to be done in order to live and graduate college.

Alpha Ryan is a lawyer just out of law school. His family are legacy members of the Hellion Club. His father buys him a membership to the club, much to Ryan's dismay and disgust. Ryan meets Greg on his initiation night and sparks fly between the two of them. He can't get the beautiful bartender off his mind. Ryan never cared for the way Omegas were treated at the Hellion Club, or in general so he feels the need to protect Greg. In order to be able to protect him properly, he has to revive an old Hellion Club tradition. As disgusting as he finds the tradition, he asks Greg to sign a contract, making him Ryan's omega.

When word of the contract gets back to Ryan's family they are less than happy with the arrangement and they would do just about anything to sabotage this contract.

This series just gets better and better. I had such a deep respect for Greg. He made no apologies for being the person he was, even though some thought he was no better than a prostitute. He lived life on his terms, not because he was forced to, but because he wanted to. And as an Omega, that is very empowering. I did have some issues with Ryan. He did have a hard time accepting the fact that when it came to Greg, he did what he did of his own free will. I wanted to throttle Ryan sometimes for just being so dense. And what can I say about Ryan's family. There is a special place in hell for them. I want more of this series.

Needs a serious editor, but overall a decent story with some problematic content

I went into this book expecting to love it, and I had not read the other Hellion books. I didn’t need to, as the author stated. And while I gave this book four stars, I’m really torn between a three and a four for several reasons.

Edit: after writing the review, I’m dropping it to a three.

First off I need to say that as far as editing goes, this book is in SERIOUS need of en editor, copy editor, or professional proofreader. There are punctuation, spelling, and grammar errors everywhere. Also some continuity errors. Sometimes it was hard to read and I had no idea who was talking at points. I know some authors use fans as proofreaders, but honestly, it’s not cutting it. A professional needs to read this, fix it, and be paid for that work. Yes, it was that bad.

Second, I was not aware that there would be so much violence in this book, and that is a serious trigger for me if I’m not forewarned. I got physically ill from what was done to Greg, Elliot, and the girls, and there was no warning for this.

Finally, while I did love Greg, I absolutely hated Ryan by the end and wanted him to jump off a bridge. The fact that he couldn’t accept Greg’s word when Greg had so much to lose and had given it was a complete character change for him, and it was infuriating. The entire book he was so against his family and then they suddenly work at planting seeds of doubt in him?

Naw. Come on.

I’ve loved every Aidan Bates books I’ve ever read, but this one was rough and needed an editor to pull the hard questions. And if it DID have an editor then I highly recommend the author get a new one.

There will be triggers of verbal abuse, spousal abuse as well as child abuse and attempted murder(s) that hadn’t happen yet. For a M/M alpha/omega romance there wasn’t that much sex but as for emotional hurt and bribery and bullying there was a lot in. Ryan is an alpha so is his oldest brother Brendan but the middle brother Elliott is an omega and Ryan and Eli are close and Eli was the ‘muse’ for Ryan to make life for Omega men different but in a good way. Eli is the one who he cheated, beat , verbally abused but is afraid to leave his husband, George. Their alpha father Bryce , their omega dad Oliver and George will tell everyone what life is meant for an omegas, as slaves and their alpha should treat their property as they see fit, breaking arms, beating them until a miscarriage happens even children should feel pain in breaks is acceptable in their society. Ryan hates his family other then Eli and when his father gets him into their Alpha/omega club his father will buy him a omega ‘$lut for the night but Ryan sees Greg as something else, a sex worker. But Greg is working, getting a degree and if and alpha needs release he’s happy to do it even the extra tips and time on the time cards is best. Then Ryan throws Greg out of balance with a contract for exclusive rights for Greg to be only Ryan’s until Ryan dissolves the contract.
That contract starts A. Whole. Slew. Of. Turmoil. From the day Ryan talks about it u til he very end of this book. Be warned it is gritty and dark at times especially with Eli’s daughters around.

I read this book as part of an arc program. I really enjoyed this emotional book that tells the love story of Ryan and Greg. Ryan is a young lawyer who comes from a very rich and powerful family, but he doesn't think of the omegas the same way as his alpha father and brother. Ryan is an alpha and his father bought his membership into the Hellion Club without Ryan's agreement. Ryan thinks the Hellion Club members are all abusive and controlling like his father, brother and brother-in-law. The night of Ryan's induction, his father arranged for Greg, an omega who works at the club, to be available for Ryan for the night. Ryan thinks the omega's are being exploited and couldn't convince Greg of that so they parted ways, even though there was a mutual attraction. Greg works at the club to pay for his college and he feels good about being with other alphas because he likes the attention and the money. When Greg and Ryan meet again, act on their attraction and Ryan confesses he likes Greg and wants to only see him and have Greg enter into an exclusive agreement through the club. Greg agrees and their feeling continue to grow, only Ryan's family try to force Ryan to end things with Greg. Things keep getting worse for Ryan and Greg and for Ryan's brother Elliot, who is an omega and in an abusive relationship. I really liked this book, it does deal with a lot of emotional issues like abuse and controlling family. I like how Ryan thought for himself regardless of his family. I also liked Greg and how he was so independent and wanted more in his life. Good one.

Steamy, delightful, heartbreaking, and complex romance that will keep you reading cover to cover! This is another in the Hellion Club series and we get Greg's story this time. He is a wonderfully crafted sexy and honest guy who is pretty self aware and focused on his life goals. I loved how he and Ryan slowly become more than lovers and that neither guy is perfect. Ryan has a horrible family and even though he is light-years different, he is still isn't perfect and ends up hurting the man he loves.

Ryan's brother Elliot ,is the exception to his nasty family and a character that we see as center to this story. I loved how Elliot and Greg became friends, and i do want to see more of Elliot's story in the future. Ryan is such a likable guy and he tries so hard to fix what he messed up. He has such a great heart and i am so glad that Greg could forgive and they could work on building their relationship.

I love the supporting characters and found the story richer because of the depth of characters and story-line. I started reading this and stayed up most of the night reading, the story just caught me and i wanted them to find their HEA. Greg and Ryan story is a great read! Enjoy!

Greg is an omega and he works at the Hellion club, that’s where only alpha’s that are rich go. You have to have a certain bloodline and an amount of money to be able to become a member of the club. Ryan’s alpha father paid for his membership for the club but Ryan wasn’t happy with it, he doesn’t like the way the omega’s are treated by some of the alpha’s. Ryan noticed Greg behind the bar and there was an instant attraction between the two of them, Ryan’s father paid for Greg to go and meet Ryan in a room but the first night they just talked about the using of the omega’s in the club, on the 2nd night they were finally together. Ryan didn’t like casual sex so he made an offer to Greg a contract of sorts, it states that Ryan will be Greg’s alpha in all ways and no other alpha was allowed to be with Greg and that Ryan was to protect Greg. They both signed the contract and it made Ryan’s family very angry with him because they thought that all omega’s at the club were whore’s. I loved this story this is the second one about the Hellion club I’ve read but it’s the 4th in the series. All I can say is that this is an amazing read and it’s a 5 plus ⭐️ story by Aiden Bates. I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

This is a excellent, captivating book and I thoroughly enjoyed reading each and every page til the last page was turned. This book is about: a outspoken, caring omega (Grey) and the alpha who, he gets involved with (Ryan) They go through interference, trials & tribulations from Ryan's family before they get their HEA. What you will find in this book is: drama, intrigue, manipulations, a vindictive family, abuse, friendship, threats, accusations, verbal conflict, disagreements, wrongful information, assault, law enforcement, trust, lust, passion, love, romance and steamy scenes. The story-line and plot is well-thought out and written, it keeps the reader’s attention. The characters are well-developed with personalities and moods suited to the situations they find themselves in. This is a well-written MM gay romance with a HEA and I really would recommend this book.

Ryan is a legacy of Hellion Club and Greg is the bartender at Hellion Club. They met the first time Ryan came into the club, at his welcoming party.

One biggest flaw in this story: Ryan is too flighty.
At one time he was head over heels for Greg, then a little nudge from his family and he questioned everything he had with Greg.
The way Ryan's bother, Brendan, and his in-law, George, behaved is so amusing in a bad way. At time they influenced Ryan to doubt Greg and after that they laughed in front of Ryan's face and said something like this: "You are a stupid fool, believing us just like that, ....." I mean, that's overly childish. And stupid. Why admit to someone you're fooling? And George is a lawyer to boot. He should be more calculating.

The good things is there's Ty. I like him and he got some actions in this novel, as well as Keegan ;)

The next book looks interesting! A murder and all!

This book was outstanding and the writing was amazing, especially with hard topics. The approach to sex clubs, violence, domestic violence, and class distinction was well written and thought out. Greg loved his life, even though it was a stepping stone to bigger and better things, especially being an omega. Ryan did not agree with his family of alphas, the only brother he liked was an omega and in an abusive relationship. Now he was being inducted into the Hellion club by his father, whose attitude toward omegas was nothing short of propery to be used. One look behind the bar and Ryan knew there was one thing that would help, and that was seeing Greg for the first time. The book follows their relationship and with so many outside forces at work to destroy it, would it even survive. The ending was way better than I thought it would be, I loved it. Everything came full circle. I missed the free ARC, but I bought it because it sounded so good, and it was worth the money.

Oh this Hellion Club group, they definitely have their share of drama! I really did enjoy Greg and Ryan's story, although it definitely has it moments that just tug at your heart! Greg is a young omega working at the Club when Ryan, a rich alpha, is inducted in (pretty much against his will) and there is a connection right away. But Ryan wants to save Greg, not buy him.

This was definitely a more intense read than some of the others in this series and deals with serious issues of abuse. There is still that great chemistry that I'd expect from Aiden Bates but it definitely goes deeper. Ryan and Greg are great together though and I loved how strong and confident Greg his. He doesn't back down. Ryan is a bit all over the place at times but he proves himself!

I think this is a great addition to the series, a story about love and trust and healing.

Wonderful Read....

Aiden Bates has created another wonderful romance, I purchased this on the 10th, and nearly finished it the first day. He's brought us deeper into the Hellion's Club, and the life of some of thier members. The division between Alapha and Omegas is very clear, the life of Omegas who work in service to the Alphas at the club is more defined in this story. Greg pulls you into his life from the start of the story. You want his struggles to be his way in the end because he's so firm in his regards. He's fallen in love with an alpha, and in the betrayal that follows, you want to protect him too. It takes him a while to get the floor back under him, but in the end the good wins out, the evil is cast aside and all is well. Thank you again for such a pulling and heart warming story.

Saving the Alpha

I voluntarily received an advanced copy of this book and will definitely recommend you read it and the rest of the books in this series. Greg is an amazing guy. He has a head on his shoulders and knows exactly what he wants to do with his life. Ryan was being inducted into the Hellion Club as a legacy even though he told his father not to. But seeing Greg at the bar eases his anger a bit. Ryan decides he doesn't want any other Alpha and asks Greg to be in an exclusive contract with him. Things are going great for the two of them but Ryan's family is not having it. They do some dirty things to Greg. This book had me happy and crying for justice for Greg and Elliot. I'm telling you that you need to read this latest book of the Hellion Club.

I think this series is absolutely awesome and can't wait for more. Greg is working his way through school at the Hellion Club. Ryan who becomes a "legacy" member is a lawyer working for Omega rights. Greg and Ryan hit it off but even after Greg explains to Ryan about working at the Hellion Club he (Ryan) still holds the stereo type against Greg which causes them to have problems when Greg becomes pregnant. Their are also other extenuating circumstances with Ryan's family...awful backward Alphas and Omega Dad and an abusive brother in law. It ads up to there being a bunch of intrigue involved in this story.

I love this series and love how we have an Omega fighting for all the rights for other omegas. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book.

I greatly enjoyed this book even though the alpha, Ryan, is another dithering main character. So, once again, I empathised more with omega Greg. It seems to be a pattern with these stories, too, that the parents, in laws, exes etc. are absolutely obnoxious. Here, they are totally, over the top, awful! I relish this. It makes a story so interesting.

In a society where the omega seems very much the underdog, Greg is written as a strong and independent character. Ryan, on the other hand, lacks maturity from being under the thumb of his parents.

I loved two of the secondary characters. Again, Keegan shines and I'm glad he has his own story. I like seeing Ryan's omega brother begin to grow stronger as the story progresses as well.

This is a really good read.

This book is more intense than the previous books in this series as it contains domestic violence, so please don't read if this subject upsets you.

The story centres around Greg the new omega barman at the Helion Club and Alpha Ryan who's family are legacy members of the club. They both form an attachment to each other but Ryan's family is very unhappy with this development and will do anything to prevent Ryan and Greg from getting married including intimidation, violence and murder.

The story is very involved and tense in some places but as ever with this author there is a HEA. Recommended.

4.5 ⭐s Do As You're Told
There are so many twists and turns in this story. What appears to be an incredible unlikely Cinderella love story quickly becomes so much more. A despicable family that despises Omegas, believing they have a place and need to be taught to stay there.

There are two types of Omegas: whores and those from Rich families who have already been shown (often with fists) their real place. All Omegas are ruled by their desires for a strong Alpha and will stray if not kept in check with an iron fist. What lengths will the family go to when one of their youngest Alphas is enticed away by a Hellion whore?

Liked the story a lot,the MC, theire chemistry and how it’s written. The storys about omega Greg and alpha Ryan. They meet in the helion club where Greg works and Ryan is a new member. Ryan and Greg makes an exclusive contract and starts a relationsip, and fall in love. Ryans family does anything to split them up, they succeed for a while before Ryan and Greg start to find back to each other. It’s a story about love, trust, growing up and making the right choise.

A great addition to the series. I enjoyed the insightful look into the Hellion club and one of the omega's that worked within the club. Greg was a very likable characters and I loved his spunk and consideration. Ryan also wasn't a bad guy and him being so young and shelter did help to build up the illusion of why he was so gullible when his family started dropping doubts into his ear. I'm definitely looking forward to giving the next book in the series a read.

Terrific book, absolutely wonderful series!

Greg is my hero! He’s strong, confident, sexy, and a loving omega. Ryan is a wonderful alpha who does not want to belong to the Hellion Club but has no choice since his father bought him a lifetime membership. From the knowledge he has gotten from his father and older brother, he believes that the omegas that work at the Club are forced into sexual slavery.

Great book! Aiden Bates’ books are an automatic buy for me and this one was simply stunning!

This is the weakest book of the series. I did enjoyed the previous books but this one left me wanting the next book and forget about this story. Ryan had no backbone and no personality whatsoever. Greg should have stayed alone. Mind you, this is the first time I was rooting for a main character to stay alone by the end. Those parents and family were horrendous. The next book looks much better than this one. Hope to forget everything I read ASAP.

The Hellion Club just seems to be getting better and better and old friends visit in all the stories! Greg is one of the Omega's that work at Hellion Club and Ryan is a new member, forced upon him by his meddling, busybody father. Greg and Ryan enter into a contract but then Greg turns up pregnant and Ryan has doubts thrown at him by his vicious family. What happens next is very intense and somewhat scary. Yes, this is another great book by Aiden Bates and a must read if you love a HEA!

A new ideal

Ryan comes from a family with archaic ideas of Alpha's and Omega's. He is forced into a membership at the Hellion Club where he meets Greg, an Omega trying to make money to better his life. Their story of attraction, trust, mistrust, love and loss is very engaging. Loved the character development, even the characters I didn't like. The episodes of Family violence may disturb some.

The beginning was quite slow but it did finally pick up around 60%. The alpha hero was a bit of a hypocrite and quite the spoiled rich boy but in the end I liked him. The omega hero was likable even if he lied to himself about his job. Being a bartender who sleeps with patrons for extra "tips" doesn't mean the "tip" isn't a payment for the sex. The happy ending took a lot to get but they got it and it was sweet.

***I decided to review an ARC of this book.***
