I’m a Southern princess—haha—nah! I am Southern, but I came from the wrong side of the tracks in a small Alabama town, just 30 minutes from the Florida state line. I have a dirty mind and I’m not afraid to use it. I live in a small rural town on 40 acres with my husband, dogs, a cat with tortitude (aka a tortie American Bobtail with attitude), cows, horses, and chickens. Everyone seems to love my twang even though I don’t hear it. Are y’all sure I have one?

I love all things paranormal and I drop curse words like commas, so I’m not your typical Southern Belle. All the same... Sweet Home Alabama, y’all!

Holy cow.....This book was amazing!!

The characters in this story were phenomenal. I absolutely loved getting to know Derr and Sugar's story. They are a match made in Heaven. Both famous and career oriented. Derr is a sexy, down to Earth kind of guy, while Sugar is sassy, sexy and all Sugar.

The story-line was remarkable. I literally couldn't put this book down and all the feelers within the story kept me turning each page, Miller has a knack for entertaining her audience and making us crave more from her stories and characters and this book is no different. I could feel the connection come to life between each character and the strength of their feelings just flowed off the page. My heart and soul will forever be embedded in this story forever. I highly recommend this read.

Caution: Due to the sexual content and language, reader discretion is advised.

This is the 4th book in the rockstar Hot Wired series and is the story about the bass player, Derringer (Derr). Derr is the last single man in his rock band Hot Wired and adamantly refuses to get settle down and get married like his other bandmates. Harriet (Sugar) Malone is a well known tattoo artist who is also against marriage. The two happen to meet while bungee jumping in Vegas and they hit it off. Yes, there is sexual chemistry, but they part ways feeling more like friends and certain to never see each other again. Of course, things don't always go as planned.

I really enjoyed this book. This book was told from a dual POV which I think really made the story. There was a good bit of humor. Derringer had some funny one-liners and lots of sexual innuendos. He is a very likable character - cocky, but sweet. Sugar is an interesting character. She is a tattoo artist trying to prove herself in a male dominated field and she is reality TV star. She is a strong heroine and doesn't let anyone walk all over her. Derr and Sugar have some humorous conversations between them and there is lots of chemistry. When they finally get around to acting on their sexual attraction (at about 75% of the way through the book), the scenes are smokin' hot and not over the top!

It was also good to see appearances from our other Hot Wired friends - Jase & Fallon, Fang & Sam, and Keys & Nessa. Jase seemed to be featured a little more than the others and goodness he is hilarious! Sugar's friends, Luc (Lucille), Jack, & Dusty, are pretty entertaining too.

Overall, this was a great book - humor, hot chemistry, and romance all rolled into one. It moves at a good pace and the characters are well developed. The only thing that I would have liked is an epilogue. I received this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

A chance meeting, an instant attraction, one heck of a drunken night in Vegas. Ok well a few days anyway followed by said drunken night. Fast forward three years and that night comes back to bite them both. They just don't remember it.
I loved this book! It was one of those that I did not want to put down! Dang adulting got in the way for a few hours but all I could think of during my time away was this book. It worked its way into my thoughts almost from the very beginning. I loved the sass, the adrenaline rush, the love of family both blood and chosen. Derr was a gentleman with Sugar and that was actually a shock to me. Not the gentleman part, but him refusing to have a quick one night stand. To take it slow, to develop as friends. Yeah he's a keeper.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Sugar Ink Serenade is about the last member of Hot Wired, the bass player, Derr...and quite possibly my favorite boy-toy! I have enjoyed each book in this series and this one did not disappoint. I was glued to the book from page one. Derr and Sugar were a fun couple and I loved getting to know them. The story was very well written and painted a vivid picture in my mind. "Sugar Ink Serenade" flows at a nice pace and the characters are entertaining.
Overall, I loved this book and definitely recommend it.

Sugar and spice and all things nice

Wow another great piece of writing, I have loved the whole series, they just keep getting better and better, kind of hoping there will be spinoffs with all the side characters, Tab, Jack, Omega, Dusty etc, Derr was definitely the spice in this one and Sugar well the name says it all,Of course she comes with some spice of her own, a match made for SIN, highly recommend this one, I have loved all of this author's work so far, can't wait for the next one.

Sugar Ink Serenade is the fourth instalment in the Hot Wired series, and is quirky and sassy as the rest.
Instant rapport, mutual attraction and a night on the town in Vegas begins a courtship of interesting proportions. A fast paced read about relationships, family and following your heart.
