Investing Wisely: A Systematic Approach to Residential Real Estate Investment

Rate this book
If you are looking to get into residential real estate investment, focused on single family, condo, and townhouses and are looking for the tools and knowledge necessary to make an informed decision, then this is your book. I found most books to be dense, redundant, and intimidating for most readers. I will give you the necessary background to start investing, but you may still have to do homework on certain subjects. My goal is to make this book readable in a single sitting to arm you with enough knowledge to begin your journey into real estate investment.

The book is interesting at first, but it goes too deep into the process and documents related to the process of real estate transactions, which is mostly irrelevant for my situation. Still, there are some interesting and helpful take-aways.

This is a good book for very beginners. I unfortunately should’ve known that before I read as I have been investing for several years already. I am going to keep this book around for my kids as they reach high school age. Good content, but very basic.

In this concise book, Lee gives advice on which parameters to consider when buying a real state as a means of investment. This book can de described a summary notes that the author has taken throughout his journey that led him to own double digit properties in the span of two years. For the average Joe, investing in real state could be intimidating but with recommendations provided by this book, the reader can feel much more educated in this topic and confident to start diversifying its egg nest in this type of venture.
