Freedom.

It’s the one and only virtue of life here on the Far Rim. No governments, no law, no loyalty to anyone or anything except your partner, your pistol, and your ship.

And I threw it all away for her.

Was it worth it? Obviously. She’s blue, she’s beautiful, and she has the sex drive of a hormone-addled teenager. Oh, and she also happens to be a powerful psychic warrior who could literally crush every bone in my body with her mind.

We’re on the cusp of finally learning how to fly Valkyries, rare psionic starfighters that draw their power directly from the minds of their pilots. Her mentor thinks we’ll become the next generation of Wings of the Seraph, but I couldn’t care less about fancy titles. I just want to fly. One day soon, I’ll be the best damn Valkyrie pilot in the galaxy.

I just have to convince these idiots to give me a chance first.

OUTCAST is an action-packed, erotic space opera adventure and the second installment in the best-selling WINGS OF THE SERAPH series (31,000 words).

About the author

Sarah Hawke

79 books243 followers
Sarah Hawke is a prolific writer of science fiction and fantasy in multiple genres, including erotica, harem, and bondage. Her books are known for their intricate world-building, twisting plots, and fleshed-out characters—and of course their many intense, steamy sex scenes.

If you are interested in "pure" traditional harem stories, The Lost Fleet is the perfect place to start! Wings of the Seraph is a shorter, older series but also hits most of the traditional harem notes. Shadow of the Seraph features a rotating male and female pov with some F-F scenes involving temporary futanari, so avoid that unless it is your jam!

Her fantasy universe features many types of erotica stories involving bondage (Elf Slave, all the Spider Queen books) and non-traditional harems (The Amazon's Pledge, The Amazon's Vengeance). She also has two ongoing fantasy erotica series with intense action and multiple points of view, War of the White Throne and The Blade of Highwind.

A solid 2nd book in the series.

The characters continue to grow and develop in this book. I enjoyed it just as much as I did the first book. You will enjoy this series.

Setting:
There’s no real changes to the setting here. If anything the setting is reduced as almost the entirety of this bit of the story takes place inside the rebel base.

Characters:
Cole: Cole’s primary personality trait here (aside from horny) is whiny. He complains frequently about the people he has to work with and a lack of the sort of training he thought he was going to be getting.

Kaveri: Kaveri, now porn logic bonded with Cole, is deeply committed to the rebels and, while it is true that she cares for Cole, his complaints are not going to shake her loyalty.

Plot:
The main story is Cole’s integration, or lack thereof, into the rebels. He’s frequently having issues with the other trainees. Thankfully for him, the medic is a very lovely young lady who might be convinced to do some… housecalls.

My Thoughts:
This installment is a touch slower than the first story in the series but Hawke compensates for the lack of plot with the introduction of a second girl in the bedroom. Curiously, Hawke made the choice to set up the medic as a bi girl who is pretty heavily leaning towards women and more or less is only interested in playing with Cole because it gives her access to also play with Kaveri.

The ending here does create some interesting possibilities for the remaining books in this series.

How is this considered harem genre so far? I don't think a lesbian can be part of a guy's harem...she's just using him to have the succubus. The author seems to enjoy emasculating men and making them look stupid. I understand a minority of guys are into that kind of thing, but it's not for me. I'm surprised she can find enough men (her stated target audience is men) willing to pay her to take this kind of abuse....

As for what men find arousing...no, getting our dicks almost burnt off doesn't do it. Try sticking a hot curling iron on your clit and see how sexually aroused you are.
