Omega #6

To Rule in Hell

Rate this book
The call came on a Sunday morning in March, in Independence: Go to Seattle, meet a man, he will give you instructions. But those instructions send Lacklan on a journey he could not have suspected, protecting a senator who might be the last best hope of mankind, fleeing before the storm, hunted by killers and law enforcement alike. And when he finally reaches his destination, he discovers his ordeal has only just begun…

But Lacklan, after ten years in the SAS, after a life of killing, has had enough. He had promised his father, on his deathbed, that he would protect Marni, the love of his life, in her fight against Omega, the ruthless government within a government. But he has grown tired, tired of chasing the impossible dream, tired of the killing. He is ready to break his promise. Now he dreams of home in Independence, of a normal life with a good woman.

Yet that may be the most impossible dream of all, for a man who was not born to serve in Heaven, but to rule in Hell…

I love Blake Banner’s work. His COBRA series is one of my all-time favorite series in the thriller genre, and the OMEGA series is steadily becoming another favorite. This installment in the OMEGA series was, imo, one of the very best stories that he’s written. Not only was this book hugely impactful in the OMEGA saga, essentially wrapping up the first half of Lacklan Walker’s fight against the elite hidden society hellbent on creating a new Eden for themselves, it was one of the most insightful and deeply thoughtful books that I’ve had the pleasure of reading. Banner drops some deep, thought provoking ideas and views in this story. If ever there was an author who can keep you coming back for more, it’s Blake Banner.

To Rule in Hell. Blake Banner

Lacklan, the son of a very prominent and wealthy man. A Bostonian. The complete opposite of Lacklan. His mother is in England. He joins the British military. S A S one of the most elite special forces units in the world. Lacklan can be extremely lethal if needed. An organization or better yet a group of very influential people have a vision of a better world. They feel the world is overpopulated, and we are slowly killing the environment. They will use whatever means necessary to achieve their goals. Omega has one huge problem, a major stumbling block. Lacklan Walker. Enjoyed immensely!

To Rule in Hell

I feel sympathy for the main character in this book. He wants to stop being who he is. He wants to be a real family man with a family he can be around and love unconditionally. He's torn between being the best person he can be and/or being the single most dangerous man on earth! Hopefully, he can manage to be what he wants to be without leaving his family behind.

This was a good fun and enjoyable read. The star character was a little too fantastic but everything he did was actually doable and hey, it’s not like this is nonfiction or anything. This was a fun and entertaining read and that is just exactly what I was looking for. Thank you Mr Banner, I will read more of your books and enjoy them I’m sure,Aloha

An Adventure!

Lachlan Walker is on a mission. He is one of the most brilliant ethical and methodical killers I've ever met. He is moral and a true humanitarian that is committed to doing what's right and breaking the status quo. I love the twists and turns in this story and how it flowed effortlessly. He is on a mandate and I have no doubt that he will succeed.

To Rule in Hell.

Well Omega's back, along with Marni, Gibbons and last but not least, Lacklan Walker. This time, Walker gets something he's always wanted, and Omega is coming to realize just how dangerous he can be. No spoilers here, you have to read it to find out what happens.

Fast paced

This went by so fast as Lackland finds himself in another adventure with Omega. What to do Mani wants him to bring a very beautiful Senator across the country and eventually in the middle of the ocean. She finds someone is trying to kill her and it could be someone close to her.

This was a great one, I loved every minute. There wasn't a dull moment. It was very exciting and explained in a lot more detail what Omega is doing and its intensions. I can see Lacklan is now determined to finish what he has started so I am sure there is going to be much adventure and excitement ahead. Can't wait to start the next book!

To rule in hell

It is good to see Lack land want to marry and settle down. Will this happen? Sounds like the boy is going on a killing spree. Good if the circumstances are as described. His family does not stand to be safe as of yet. Good story in all real concerns over climate change. Have not seen any great progress.

So many choices to make!

I love this story on how it picked up on the last one without missing a beat. I was totally into it from the first page. It was a skip in plot and I think the author made it perfect the way it ended. Take the time to read the entire series. It will get you hooked.

To Rule in Hell

All I can say is this is a ten star series . I have only one more book to read in this series and I really hate to see it come to and end. This is the best thriller I have read in a long time. Highly recommend.

Hard to put down

This was one of those books full of constant action, plots that are driven relentlessly and characters that while they primarily support the plots are also people who matter.

Five Stars

The story continues and it still goes from strength to strength. Non stop action all the way. I will now start to read the 7th book in this series, Kill: One. Another huge Pat on the back for the author and from me another 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
