Alannah Foley... aka 'The Pyjama Writer'

Born in Australia, raised in the UK, Alannah is a writer of both fiction & non-fiction, covering topics as diverse as capers in a campervan, the vagaries of living with an obsessive cyclist, travels Down Under, and tales ‘full of twists, turns & tickles’ based in Cornwall where she currently lives.

She lived in her Aussie birthplace for five years in her twenties, and managed to return to Old Blighty devoid of shark or snake bite. Mozzies, however, did love to use her for target practice!

Is her writing worth the effort

A very, very short read - only about 60% of the pages. A disheartened writer wonders if her writing is worth pursuing. Mix in a potion given to her by an old Professor friend that he said would enable the taker to time travel. Does she take it and if so what does she learn? What happened to the Professor? Not really sure what this was supposed to actually portray.

A ghost in time? Maybe...

I really liked this short story. It is well written and has a little suspense and a lot of hope. This writer does good work.
